One of the best releases despite the thickness. Would take this one over the BB58 anyway. The BB58 has a great design but don't like the gold accents and its clasp.
Brilliant watch I brought one for my grandson for his 18th birthday, at this moment he's 6 months old so hopefully it will be a collection peirce when he turns 18, tudor are knocking it out of the park
I love this watch, just struggle with where it fits into a small collection. GADA? Weekend camping? Field watch? GMT so perhaps a travel watch? It's one of those watches I have a hard time trying to see where it fits in - yet I really wouldn't mind having it, especially after I tried it on in the AD with my 7.5" wrist and it was great. Thanks for the video!
Great review m8. Lovely watch. Agree with you nice to see the GMT hand in orange.....it would stand out more. Also what about this watch with a polar face. Cheers
When I heard that thickness was the big talk. I was held back from this watch. I had been looking into getting a GMT and thought the design was very nice with the brushed bezel. It was this watch or the GS SBGN003. I took out my caliper and measured two other watches that I love (40mm Speedmaster Racing and SLA043). They are as thick or maybe thicker.. I think people make too big of a deal about the thickness. Sport watches need to be thick in my opinion. I guess this will be the GMT watch to add to the collection.
I have the SBGN003, 2 seiko divers and an Oris Aquis Cal 400. I’m currently between this or the ranger. I know my watches are redundant but, I like what I like.
I had the explorer and sold it and now own the Tudor Pro, main reason was the Pro is better looking in my opinion, I disliked the bright orange GMT hand on the explorer to me it looked so out of place.
Nice review! This watch is my next purchase for sure. Interesting to see how far forward you wear your watch - doesn’t the crown dig into the back of your hand? Each to their own of course.
Haven’t noticed as much with this one! Despite the bigger crown. Had more of an issue with the Tudor Pepsi because it was a heavier watch with no on the fly adjust. But that is a gripe I have with a lot of pieces
I have this watch and compared with my friend's Explorer II. His Rolex is shiny and blingy like a new Mercedes. The Tudor is more a Land Rover covered in mud. This bracelet was actually more comfortable.
I have this watch. This is as good as my black dial explorer 2 rolex. Except its size is smaller and looks sharper than its big brother, it is as beautiful and solid as explorer 2.
Nice video, but had to send my Pro in to get fixed for date wheel problem after 3 months. Purchased in late November 2022. love the watch but problem still persist as of that date. Still a keeper .....unless
I have this watch. same wrist size 6.5 inches. with the micro adjustments you can really get it to sit right. I wear it daily. no complaints. See the watch in person, on the wrist it does not look to thick honestly.
I just bought one for my son last weekend…..I will have to wear it now for him to be able to wear it in 15 years from now. Love my choice for his wrist 🎉🎉🎉

Lmao is that how we justify buying watches😂
For your "grandson". Uh huh. Sure. ;)
I wear my watches to bed too👍
Me too.
Me as well.
Yes , me too😂
If this watch was 13mm thick, it would be an absolute no brainer.
I brought this watch a few months ago, had the wrist time. It’s a great looking watch, the thickness doesn’t bother me at all.

The Tudor is imho is a much better looking piece than the modern explorer
Great watch, if they made it thinner and got rid of the rivets I would buy one!
Great review m8.

You sold you Explorer 36? 😢 I’d be interested to know if this piece occupies the same place in your collection (occasion wise) as that watch.
You have to try this on Tudor’s nylon strap. Once it breaks in, the watch feels and looks amazing.

Interesting take! Many people love the orange GMT hand.
I love the faux rivets.
Have you tried the 16570 Exp 2 5 digit reference? Has the vintage vibe but is 12mm thick so not as clunky on wrist!
I love the 5 digit! An orange GMT hand would bring it close to perfection.
Nice review! This watch is my next purchase for sure. Interesting to see how far forward you wear your watch - doesn’t the crown dig into the back of your hand? Each to their own of course.

Enjoyed man!
Thanks man!! I appreciate it a lot
Got the pro, gmt blnr next! Waiting list sucks…… good stuff brother!
Good luck Andres! The BLNR is a beast

Explorer 2 is not shiny and blingy.
Tried and bought it on hybrid strap. After a few months bought the Ranger too but with steel bracelet, T fit is really good

Sub $5K as a beater watch, guess everything is relative.
Hehe yep, my beaters are around 300 and my luxury is 6k

Me too man, I wear my watches to bed and I adore Lume that sort of sustains all night
Best watch from Tudor imo.. Gives out great vintage/tool watch vibe.
Nice review. I have one these watches on order and cant wait to get it.
Awesome! Planning to buy one
Great review mate going to pick one up for my birthday, and your results and review helps me a load thanks
Happy birthday! Glad my video was helpful :)
I've heard watches perform best in the Midwest, may just be hearsay.
I’ve heard it helps if plants are also in the vicinity.
What a great watch!
Great review
Nice review! The thickness is the only thing that gets me. I also have a 6.5” wrist. Tangent question, any thoughts about Pelagos 39 vs BB58?
I have this watch. same wrist size 6.5 inches. with the micro adjustments you can really get it to sit right. I wear it daily. no complaints. See the watch in person, on the wrist it does not look to thick honestly.
I have the pelegos 39mm and it's bye far the best watch I have ever worn can't take it off my wrist go for it you won’t regret it
- The thickness is the deal breaker for me.
This is to Rolex what San Martin is to this … but I like it for half the price !!!
I just bought one for my son last weekend…..I will have to wear it now for him to be able to wear it in 15 years from now. Love my choice for his wrist 🎉🎉🎉
It is funny how some watches need to age into their looks, isn't it. Didn't like this one at first but a year later I really want it.
Maybe if it wasn't 200m , it would've been thinner.
no
I don't think it's the water resistant since bb58 is much thinner and still have 200m water resistant
The thickness is mostly from the date wheel I feel . The 41s&g non GMT is still close to 15mm thick .
@@justinlangley9522it’s the movement thickness and four stack of hands
Just got one today. Boots and watches..🎉
