Nice watch I have the GMT Opaline on the old non rivet bracelet. If it was thinner it would wipe the floor with the Rolex GMT and we can't have that. Tudor will eventually make a thinner 41mm but they will likely wait for prices to be up in the 5k range.
just purchased this beauty,to accompany my Longines Spirit Zulu Time 42mm,both sits nicely on my 7" wrist,love heavy watches on my wrist,it gives me the solidly built sensation..personally find the 39mm and below too small and lady like size(my personal opinion)so hey!its your dough,buy whatever that sails your boat..
The Zulu is a great piece, nice pick up. Some people enjoy chunky watches but it’s not for everyone. As for your comment on 39 and below I have to agree that it’s waaaaaay to small and comes across as a ladies watch on my wrist but that’s because I’m a bigger man at 6’. Cheers !
I think the thickness is more attributed to the 200 meter water resistance than the movement. The deeper it goes the thicker it gets. Look at that new Gold Rolex SeaDweller!
I love mine. Yes, it’s thick but I can pull it off. I also wear a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and Omega Seamaster 600. Is what it is. Now I’m actually on a WAIT LIST for an Opaline lol. A Tudor waitlist 😆. Good vid, buddy. Keep them coming 👍

Yes, I have looked at this watch, I keep coming back to it, but I'm suspicious that Tudor has done this deliberately because of rolex gmt, my suspicions heighten when Tudor brought out the root beer and now the opaline and did not address the thickness first, before bringing them out. If they curved off the slab side like the new 36,39 blackbays and shaved it down to 13.5mm, I'm all in, that sub thickness is all in the case back they could do the same but not exactly, bring it down to 13,5mm
For 2k which is what I paid new this watch is the best there is. If you have a 7+ inch wrist it wears great, name me a better watch even twice the price that is over 40mm. This is a strap monster and Ive got leather, rubber, nato, it feels like a new watch every time I change strap!
3:11 not too small in the submariner zone?? Submariner is also 41mm. The submariner is by no means a small watch. Even the previous maxi super case submariners at 40mm appear bigger than this watch because of that beefy case. But the new subs, even at 41mm with its thinner lugs and more refined case, are still not small watches. Same diameter size as this (41mm)

Hello, I enjoyed the video. I have two concerns right now. I'm worried about the black and opaline dials, and I heard that this GMT model is thick, so I'm curious as to whether there will be a problem in actual use.
Tudor should stick to Titanium if they have no way to reduce thickness and redesign the case sides , currently they are definitely top heavy and the side profile looks ugly .
Way to clunky..😂 also the fake rivets can go! A new brighter colour blue be nice.. prefer the white dial gmt but thats to think! Big shame!! best tudor bb58 39mm gilt 🎉
This watch didn't impress me one bit. No drilled lugs, ordinary slab sided case with no effort whatsoever to make it beautiful, no dome crystal, cheaply stamped dial with too much text squeezed together, no display case back, no engraved case back, no decorated movement, ugly rose on crown, fake rivets on bracelet - no worth the asking price. For the money you can get much better. Longines, Oris, Sinn, Ball, Grand Seiko offer better watches at a better price point.

New watch’s need to be wear few weeks! I’ve own Breitling, Zenith etc etc chronometer specs plus 4or bit more it’s nothing I wear my watches on right wrist and some go faster them go stable ! The preceramic sub running 4 spd fast is normal given the spec for that movement is -4/+6 spd so you are well within the spec

Like I go on about in the video my only knock against this watch is how unbearably thick the case is. Otherwise it’s cracking

Tudor GMT thickness is 14.7 while the Submariner is 12.3, i was simply trying to get across this major difference
