      I like the styling of the BB 58 but Tudor is outside of my price range and I am not really a fan on snowflake hands so with those 2 things combined I dont see myself buying a tudor anytime in the future.

    For me the thickness is fine, however the fact that some people won’t buy the piece because of that fact makes it even more special. I’ve only seen it once on someone else’s wrist in Austria. And for that, I love it even more. It’s an instant classic.

    I got this model when it first came out. It's borderline on the heavy side but the thickness is easy to get used to. A good value for a true GMT piece.

    I sold my bb gmt and bought this watch. It fits so much better because the lug to lug is smaller and fits better on my 6.75 inch wrist. I am loving it!

    I was offered one on released day by my AD and purchased it. Its a great watch and sits in my modern tudor collection. I have 7 and I can say every one I have are different and has its own characteristics. I don't have a problem with the thickness as I like some weight in my watches. At the price point, it's a great addition to any collection.

    BB Pro owner for 2 months now. The watch is a bit thicker but not a problem on my wrist at 19cm and in size of many chronos. It is heavier but is a sports watch. Clasp is phenomenal, also the accuracy within 1 sec per day and bright lume. Hard to find better watch at app. 4k range and wears very nicely. If you have smaller wrist below 16/17cm or don't like heavy watches give it a try before buying/not buying, don't assume based on numbers. "Rivets" were not my fav design thing but don't notice them anymore and from all BB collection suit this model most. Overall great watch, would definitely reccomend. BTW great review as always👍

    I like this watch a lot, daily vs the Pelagos 39 for me. The ‘poor man’s Rolex’ comment is hilarious, Hans created this brand so everyone could enjoy his watches, so that is exactly what they were designed to be…everyman’s timepieces. Everyone I know who has a Tudor also has Rolex and others, Tudor is just such a cool and wearable choice these days. The thickness here is not a flaw, it is a design choice. 2mm is the raised crystal, so it wears more like a 12.6mm watch…same as a GMT by big bro…..try one and you’ll buy one…be daring 😂 you can wear this almost everywhere, no way I’d rock my Pepsi in places where this goes unnoticed except by the cognoscenti…

      Agree! The "poor man's Rolex" is NOT a 5k Tudor, it's a 1k Rolex replica that cannot be discerned from the genuine article without a jeweler's loupe! No Tudor is not the poor man's Rolex. For the brand concious and status symbol types who say this, the Rolex is actually the insecure man's Tudor!

    I was thinking of buying this watch for quite a long time, finally pulled a trigger last month as I saw it in stock in my town. Rather a quick decision, run in and buy, but since then I had zero regrets. I have never had a watch that wears so comfortably and look so in place no matter where I go or what I do.
    This, and something dressier, like a Santos or LUC, and you're done with a 2-watch collection.

  • @temo13
    @temo13 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It’s a super nice watch, I tried it but my 6.2 inches wrist said no, it’s quite heavy for my wrist and I ended buying a Bvlgari aluminum GMT. If you have a 6.5 > inch wrist, it will sit super good (if you like some weight on your watches).
    Go and try the watch! You’ll love it!

  • @loweewolwed9834

    I feel I have to "speak" up here. Chronographs & GMT don't really serve that much of a purpose anymore and we all know, if we're honest about it, it's just a way for brands to pitch us something "new" but very old/outdated. without to much effort on their behalf. Unless you're you're a pilot (and then only maybe) you don't need this at all. It's right there in your phone. A basic threehander with a date is still very convenient but in order to create something reasonably fresh with such a product brands need to put in a lot of work so adding a GMT hand or "timekeeping" and charging an extra 1K$ is a lot easier even though 95% of the consumers will have no real use for it at all.

    • @SwissWatchGang
      @SwissWatchGang  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, that's pretty much most mechanical watches. That's not the reason we collect and love watches. When I need the really precise time I check my phone. But I still wear a watch daily, either a GMT, three-hander or anything else. It's part of my personality, taste and what I love. The functionality aspect is often just a side dish.

      My first love back in the mid '90 was a Breitling Chronomat so I absolutely get that. I've been loving watches for over 30 years so I guess I've just had the time to go full circle? I'm also a WOSTEP certified watchmaker (2001-2004) and pretty much all the "bench people" I know wear a threehander. I guess it's like the difference between a football fan and a football player, a foodie
      and a chef?

    • @SwissWatchGang

      @@loweewolwed9834 it’s a matter of preference and for me a matter of how I feel the day I pit the watch on or who I am meeting. Mostly I wear a three hander too. Currently a Baltic micro rotor so I think there’s no right or wrong. Wostep started my journey so I’m a fan. 👍🏻😁

    I was stoked when this watch was announced. I own a Rolex Explorer II (226570, white dial) and wanted another GMT, but didn't want the same watch in a different color. Any who, I tried it on and the thickness of the piece was a little disappointing. I am seeing ALOT of them for sale on the grey market, by private sellers. It kinda seems like a red flag or buyers remorse. This was one of the most hyped watches (in my opinion) at watches and wonders.

    IMO it’s not a true “pro” because they cost cut and didn’t add crown guards. They could of made it thinner but it’s still wearable, you won’t notice the thick case. Obviously no watch brand will give its customers everything in a design. If it was thinner and it had crown guards, it would be perfect. A total Rolex Explorer II killer

      The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading. This can only be done by a professional financial adviser.
