Focus mode is going to be soooo helpful. I easily will get distracted, so completely removing those distractions temporarily is a god send!
I find putting your phone far away from myself when working to be the most effective way to eliminate potential distraction

Summary of those replys (not from me):
- iOS doesn't have that much features like Android
- If iOS adopts those, it's mostly better
- Google Lens is in the Galery on Pixel and Oneplus Devices and give the same features as Live Text
- Android copied also a lot of stuff from iOS
- Coping is good for the Consumer
- Andorid Users should not care, as well as iOS users
- Android Users should be happy because now also iOs Users can enjoy them

Major iOS 15 bug that Apple has overlooked even in their latest update:
I just upgraded to the latest iOS 15.0.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro and I'm finding that the WiFi download speeds have tanked ever since I upgraded it to iOS 15. I did a little research and found that this was an issue for some folks when they upgraded to iOS 15 and they needed to disable Bluetooth to fix the issue. I ran speed tests multiple times and found out that turning off bluetooth on my phone increases the download speeds immensely (10 times approximately) which is the normal speed that I used to get before the iOS upgrade on the same device. It does not matter if anything is connected via Bluetooth; just switching it on has this effect.

The feature you mentioned about being able to type the time in alarm clocks was introduced before iOS 15. I'm running iOS 14.7.1 on my phone, and I have that feature. I think it came with iOS 14, or shortly after.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that the typing the time while setting the alarm is an existing feature. I’m currently using iOS 14.6

The FaceTime events feature feels like a reverse of what Microsoft is doing with Teams. Microsoft is trying to make teams more usable as a casual video chat app and Apple is trying to make FaceTime more usable as a professional video conferencing app.
Makes sense. Facetime has always been casual, and it doesn't help that you always needed someone's personal number or iCloud.
I have to agree with those who have said Microsoft is going to fail in getting people to use it as a casual video chat service with a name like Microsoft Teams. It’s so not casual!

one small, but really cool addition: background sounds. it’s buried deep in the accessibilities section, but if you go to the audio/visual tab there’s the option to turn on background sounds to help you focus or relax. There’s ocean noice, white/dark noise, rain, etc. I just wish they made it easier to toggle on and off, but it’s helped me sleep and be able to focus :)
You can add a shortcut for background sounds for easier access.
Go all the way to the bottom of accessibility > accessibility shortcut > select background sounds > when you triple click the side buttons it works :)

Even better, if you add hearing to control Center, you can easily toggle the sounds on/off after long pressing the hearing icon…

@@ShekharKumar-jh3uc Digital Wellbeing(2019) is just Apple's ScreenTime(2018). Focus(2021) is a seperate feature, designed to be used in a different way. We'll see Focus modes in the next Android update though!

I love how with every new update, we understand the intention behind a feature we didn’t see the point in before, such as multiple home screens introduced last year, a feature almost nobody used before, but which makes perfect sense with focus modes now. 🤔

Why is nobody talking about “Background sound” so that you can listen to music and add the sound of rain in the background 😳 if you’re wondering how you need to add the “hearing” square on your control panel, tap it and click on the “background sound button and enjoy 😄

Yeah despite the ugly home screens on iPhone I always liked how smooth iOS felt, that was the thing I preferred over android and honestly the smoother os is one of the big reasons why I use ios
