But the direction is where it makes the most money. That's how the world works today. If you want progress, it's a necessary evil you have to drag into your society.

I don’t think so, this was a new device, the first touch screen smart phone introduced. There was nothing like this and the basic things have been implemented through out the years
@@mateo1390 exactly, if anything all this showcases is a growing stagnation in iOS updates over the years. Everything looks bland and the same after iOS 7. I guess it’s a don’t fix what ain’t broke situation, but it’s boring looking at the same repackaged OS year after year

I was 5 when the first iPhone was announced. It’s so interesting to see how far technology has come, especially growing up with it

I remember when Iphone 3g came out and it really was like futuristic, every drop was bringing something new that people were shocked at. Now, its just 'bigger screen' and 'faster' mechanics.
Kids growing up today never had the joy to live in the Steve Job era. Those were the magical days of innovation.

For me I enjoyed iOS 12 cause it was apple taking a step back from major features and continuing to optimize the OS
As a galaxy user and loving One UI so much I can't deny that I was so pleased with my experiences with iOS yeah maybe the OS needs some "android stuff" BUT I like how simple and user friendly it is

I’m an iPhone user and have been for 11 years, but I recognize that it really is a “different strokes for different folks” situation. It’s a matter of a person’s priorities, and I can’t say that one is objectively better than the other.

iOS keeps that simmilar UI like in settings so it will be easy to use even 1st iphone and latest iPhone, meanwhile on android everything changes cus it's available for everyone to customize it however they want

That's ridiculous. Apple Maps did and frankly always has looked better than Google Maps.
Functionality is a different story and varies wildly depending on version and location and which way the wind is blowing. But in terms of looks, it's never been a contest; Apple Maps has always looked better.
Its sad how Steve Jobs couldn’t be there for the presentations after a few years. He was really charismatic and passionate. None has done it as well as he did them !

the first iOS I ever got my hands on through my parents iPhones 4s was iOS 5 or 6. I remember getting my first iPhone and downloading iOS 7… it was huge.
This is a trip down memory lane.
The last one where he is showing how to capture text from board, that feature was in Samsung Note 4 in 2014 !
Just remember how excited everyone was at 1:50 that we could load the homepage of a major website in ONLY 21 seconds. It was so fast!
Oh and don't forget that we had to wait until version 3 when cut/copy/paste was added as a "feature" at 2:11

I’m an apple user, but I respect people who use different devices
apparently when he revealed the first iphone, he had to switch between multiple units as they weren't completely finished yet. So one iphone did one thing and one iphone did the other, and it is not noticeable. Also, making the phone call was also very unstable, and could crash. He was aware of this, yet it's impossible to tell if he is nervous about it

I remember updating my iPhone 3G to 3.0 and it was painstakingly slow. It lagged across the board, from UI animations to opening apps.

I actually liked the iOS 7 interface very much. It was really simplistic.
Best iOS versions were 6,7,9 and 12 in my opinion.
6 was the best classic version.
7 was the most revolutionary version.
9 was the most feature rich.
and 12 is the smoothest.
Now it seems like I’m old like how do I remember 1OS 4 and it’s actually pretty crazy to see how much iPhone has changed like I remember when IOS10 came out, i was so excited

Mmmaaannn back in high school when iOS 7 came out, I remember being on the school bus and someone had the beta on their phone and I was in total awe. That’s when I became invested in iOS and Apple. Then when iOS 9 came out, my whole class including my teacher spent our class period downloading the update over that sucky school WiFi 😂😂😂 good times

@@bmhater1283 it took about a good 2 hours for me.I remember starting to down it during my 4th period biology class and it was taking forever during my last class. but it didn’t finish until I got home where the WiFi was much better. Those were good times
