    Hey Arun, about number 7 (remember where your car is parked).. most people use google maps for navigation and instead of installing a whole different app just for your cars location you can just use the feature ‘save parking location’ while you’re next to your car before you leave and it will save that exact location in google maps. I learnt a lot about my device today, thankyou!

    It is insane how much Arun’s content has improved. I’ve been watching you since 2018, and even then your content was probably some of the best tech content. But now, you’ve entered a league of your own.

    • @TheFili6
      @TheFili6 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well yeah but it's also insane how MUCH biased he is. I'm not supposed to care but the fact that he knows A LOT more about iOS features rather than Android, make this not really a believable source. But that's just my 2 cents

    • @Random-ob7dc
      @Random-ob7dc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@TheFili6 I've been watching this channel for months, and I dont seem to find him being very biased in any way.
      Also Arun has been using IOS for the past months, but he was an android user for YEARS in beforehand, IOS features are more relevant than android ones, because IOS features are high quality only and very rare, while android got hundreds of different features not available anywhere else, everything from a low quality "no one uses this" thing to super useful quality features.

    • @brycechryson5686
      @brycechryson5686 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@TheFili6 android products have more of an upfront features, they tell you what it is if they can. but ive dove really deep in apple features and settings and i barely saw the tip of the iceberg. And android features are different with all phones, a samsung might have better features than a xiaomi, but ios products are only made by apple

    Another really useful trick that I found:
    If you are using a phone with a bad camera or one that doesn't have great dynamic range (ex: Redmi 9A, the phone I have), you can instead of taking a regular photo, you can instead take a night mode photo which helps the dynamic range a lot. Unfortunately night mode photos on lower end phones take a while to capture and even longer to process, so if you're trying to capture something that lasts for like a few seconds or something then use normal photos, but for something that's going to last for at least like 5 seconds+ it's better to use a night mode shot because it will also help with quality

    For this tip, just remember to store the backup codes the app gives you in a secure location where you can find them later. The last thing you want is for you to lose or break your phone, and then be locked out of all your accounts forever.
    I would recommend either keeping backup codes in a local, password-locked file on a computer somewhere, or in a notebook you have hidden in your house.

    Just an additional query on MFA using an authenticator app. If an older Android device has authenticator app for say 10 odd apps, is there a way taht it can also be transferred to a new Android device?

    This is just amazing... And I Don't know if anyone noticed but I love how he used green background during the android tricks and hacks... And switches it to blue when he switches to iphone... Green and blue bubbles... These tiny details is what makes the video so much better, entertaining and appealing... Also love the clap to change... Very.... Satisfying... May be you can use this word in your next video...

    If you use cable tise. it will look more neat if you strap one around all -löse and then one between every cable, so they line up.

    Another useful one
    Use select to speak
    It's handy when something is too large to read but you want to read it any way (be sure to enable Read in background to scroll while it's speaking)

    Thank you so much for the fingerprint hack! Before my fingerprint scanner would often not recognise my fingerprint. After setting multiple prints for one finger, it recognises my fingerprint with ease! This was very helpful :)

    Think one of the things you can add to your list is have people speed up or even shut off their screen transition animations on developer mode in Android.
    Makes your phone feel much snappier.

    URL SHORTCUTS isn't exclusive apple thing. You can actually do it in a browser app and the gboard(any many other keyboard apps) automatically switch the dot button long press to url shortcuts.

    Another tip related to the 2nd one is to set two clicks of the power button as your flash light switch, it's very convenient especially if you live in a country where the lights are out 200 of 365 days of the year iykyk

    Another hack I have for fingerprint scanners are for you to add one profile for your right thumb and another profile for your left. The reason this is helpful is like maybe your holding your phone in a certain way or your eating with the other hand, Hope this helps 😀
