This is commercial pricing similar to the prices of grips and batteries on things like Red cameras. This is an egregious option to the average consumer, but if you are a production company that regularly moves equipment on site for events that charge in the 6 figures for things like speakers, projectors, PAs and networking it's still a high but not insane price, especially if you're maxing out the specs on the computer in the first place.
Fun Fact: Most humans are made with things called arms that are very useful for picking things up and moving them. Especially things that have two enormous handles on them.

I amssuming these wheels are 2 inches in diameter and the rims on an apple car are 18 inches and that the tires add another 3 inches plus the fact that it will presumably be 8 inches wide. If the Mac pro wheel is $700 for 4, this makes 1 wheel $175. $175 x 10.5 for the rims and tires it makes 1 inch wheel $1,837.5. Multiply that by the thickness by the wheels which is 8 inches and you get $14,700 for each wheel. For each wheel. That means a set of 4 will be $58,800. Combined with the brakes and rest of the suspension setup, the wheels, suspension and brakes alone could be well over $100,000. The rest of the car I shall leave it to your imagination.

We are a theatre that uses a Mac Pro with wheels for running projection a media server. Our use case is that the Mac Pro has to travel between different locations so this is why we got the wheels. The price is insane but at a professional level no one cares about spending that much for wheels if it gives the functionality of being able to easily move a beast of a computer around to different locations.
Idk about the USA but where I live professionals do care about how much money they spend and find the best way to decrease their expenditure, You could literally buy trolley wheels for 30$, I have 3 sets one of them running for 12 years

I can understand why you might want wheels, I once had a tower case that came with really nice wheels but it was a beautifully made full tower case which has metal wheels with rubber tyres though I think the whole thing only cost something like £450. The wheels were good though on that case because when it was all set up it was very heavy. Not sure how heavy this Mac Pro is but it doesn't look that heavy.

I amssuming these wheels are 2 inches in diameter and the rims on an apple car are 18 inches and that the tires add another 3 inches plus the fact that it will presumably be 8 inches wide. If the Mac pro wheel is $700 for 4, this makes 1 wheel $175. $175 x 10.5 for the rims and tires it makes 1 inch wheel $1,837.5. Multiply that by the thickness by the wheels which is 8 inches and you get $14,700 for each wheel. For each wheel. That means a set of 4 will be $58,800. Combined with the brakes and rest of the suspension setup, the wheels, suspension and brakes alone could be well over $100,000. The rest of the car I shall leave it to your imagination.

We are a theatre that uses a Mac Pro with wheels for running projection a media server. Our use case is that the Mac Pro has to travel between different locations so this is why we got the wheels. The price is insane but at a professional level no one cares about spending that much for wheels if it gives the functionality of being able to easily move a beast of a computer around to different locations.

I can understand why you might want wheels, I once had a tower case that came with really nice wheels but it was a beautifully made full tower case which has metal wheels with rubber tyres though I think the whole thing only cost something like £450. The wheels were good though on that case because when it was all set up it was very heavy. Not sure how heavy this Mac Pro is but it doesn't look that heavy.
