I need to replace my steering coupler on the weekend. It does not look like an easy task but this video is going to prove very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to record the process.
Thank you for this, very informative. I was thinking about trying this task myself but looks harder than I thought! I’ll leave this one to a professional.
My question is, what was the symptoms that lead you to this part replaced? My car if you are in the seat , hand on steering wheel, there is play left to right there is excessive play. I thought the rack and pinion was worn. And input from you would be helpful. Thanks
Great video, I was wondering what problems did that piece cause? I have 2011 kia sorento and I have some steering wheel play but it doesn't make any noises could that be the same problem for me thanks
Excessive play in the steering wheel move wheel to. The right when feel it start to turn the tires stop and turn to the left before it moves turns the tires that is the play you will get from the bushing being worn as long as there is no worn steering parts like tie rods at if it’s totally shot cause a clunk from right to left

Great video on changing the steering coupler. Except for the heavier-than-expected steer rack, the job was much easier.

You don’t show us how to do anything!! You’ve already done it. I want to see you actually do these things.
