My take on Oniwa boss was trying to manage for the 1st phase until his deathblow and then i get to use the firecracker because if you do from the beginning the horse will get used to it and he recover in about 2-3 sec the way i see this boss is he hits from 2 to 3 hits and he pauses when you get near him so you can spam hitting him between his combos also when he drops his whirlwind spear thing try to time the grappling on him fast and get to hit him twice or thrice without getting too greedy ! Thanks for the video dude you're the best !

Same bro I’m here after four years if it wasn’t for cowboy I would be stuck on so many boss fights especially the gyuobu Oniwa boss the grapple attack made the boss easy 😂
I find it easier to deflect the bull and hit 3 times while it's stunned then run away to get distance so he charges again. You'll break his posture and get the kill before phase 2. The developers intended the fight to be like a matador bull fight.

" Ichimonji " is actually a fighting stance in the martial art Bujinkan Ninjutsu. Its a real thing haha, cool that they included it in this game. Seems to me that they drew the moves from real martial arts techniques alot. Also dude love your channel man, your guides are the best !
I only know about ichimonji from one piece with the wado ichimonji being one of Zoro's three swords so it's cool that it's an actual thing in real life in that aspect
I know this is an old video, but there's a better way to kill Gyoubu. 1. Do damage in the beginning until he runs around. 2.Hold block until his spear gets stuck in the ground. (If your posture breaks it's ok, his attacks are slow just get your block back up asap) 3. Hit him three times then hold block again. 4. Repeat until he's dead.
For a safer fight against the bull you can just run circles with him and when he pivots his head to turn thats when you sneak in a hit or two. If your chasing him in circles every time he pivots youll be on his side before he can do anything. It takes a bit longer but its a garuanteed piece of cake.

Guys an easier method for the bull that I figured out is that as the bull chases you yin around in a distance circle and as it bumps into a wall you hit twice and keep repeating your welcome
When u said "Another boss comming up after Gyoubu, (I beat Gyoubu in 2 tries but still gave me trouble, had to resurect both times and lost 500 coins), I was close to shitting myself, thought it would be an actual boss and as its after Gyoubu I thought my ass was boutta be popped. Bull was hard, but certainly not as much as I thought a boss would be. Thank God.
You didn't get the prayer bead outta the chest in the upstairs part of the Rat killing dudes casa. You gotta climb the rafters and it's right there waiting in a chest. Very nice. I honestly cannot believe I found something you passed by. I'm proud. 😆
One thing that helped me with the bull is as soon as he lowers his horns you can dodge forward right past him and be behind him. It is easier than trying to run around him.
Hey man just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this walkthrough and I think it is done very well. I watch all the time, the whole series. It’s really helped me appreciate this game. It’s put together so beautifully, but I struggle with adhd so it is very hard for me to stay on track with a game that is so do your own thing or figure it out. Again thank you and I would love to see you try to 100 the game with 0 deaths. Do you stream on twitch also?
I know people say Ichimonji is overrated but honestly its so useful against the bosses that use swords as well (so like 1/2 of the bosses or more lol) because those fights are going to be a pure posture fight and ichimonji does so much posture damage and heals your own. I used double ichimonji to help me beat the final boss; granted after you take out the first health bar you can only use the first hit because you will get hit if you go for the second hit but it still does wonders for making that fight considerably shorter.
I wouldn't say it's overrated at all. 1) Raw damage. 2) Posture damage. 3) Restores your own posture. That's 3 things I want in one move. Ichimonoji Double is arguably the best Weapon Art in the game, ESPECIALLY considering it doesn't cost any spirit emblems.
I love the exploration of these games and discovering stuff but when i watch ur vids after I'm stuck or finish an area, I ended up missing a bunch of stuff
lmao ok so on my first playthrough, dont ask how, but i completely, and i mean COMPLETELY did not get ANY prosthetics, i found them but since i skipped through the cutscenes on the first time i didnt know what they were and ignored them, because of this i rammed into the gyoubo fight without any prosthetics, took me like 2 days to beat him and i continued to play the game without prosthetics up until senpou temple, then i quit sekiro because my ass was being slapped and i came back after 2 months, started a new game followed this guide step by step and defeated gyoubo on the first try, man this really tells me the importance of cutscenes

Your vidoes have helped me play better at the game. I had rage deleted it once, and i'm now enjoying it thanks to your walkthroughs.
Back to the walkthroughs from dark souls 3 lol. Beat dark souls then nioh 1 now sekiro thanks to you my man.
Bro you the goat fr , i know nothing about these games your vid helped out tremendously
“Go back before we die of poison”
Dies right before the load screen
My take on Oniwa boss was trying to manage for the 1st phase until his deathblow and then i get to use the firecracker because if you do from the beginning the horse will get used to it and he recover in about 2-3 sec the way i see this boss is he hits from 2 to 3 hits and he pauses when you get near him so you can spam hitting him between his combos also when he drops his whirlwind spear thing try to time the grappling on him fast and get to hit him twice or thrice without getting too greedy !
Thanks for the video dude you're the best !
Been watching ur channel for a cool minute, and if im not mistaken, even fought you in ds2. This walk through is super helpful since I got sekiro, and honestly can't wait for hopefully a new walk through series for demon souls remake 🤙
4 years later and this strat helped me take the bull down in 30 seconds. You are the man @fightincowboy!
Same bro I’m here after four years if it wasn’t for cowboy I would be stuck on so many boss fights especially the gyuobu Oniwa boss the grapple attack made the boss easy 😂
@@Thisguy2532 he is the best! I’d be so lost without this walkthrough lol
I find it easier to deflect the bull and hit 3 times while it's stunned then run away to get distance so he charges again. You'll break his posture and get the kill before phase 2.
The developers intended the fight to be like a matador bull fight.
"Damn shield pricks." -Earned your like, right there! The death to poison was an absolute riot. 👍👍
Love your vids ,you been helping me since darks souls one and I've had a great journey with you , you put a lot of effort in your vids and I hope you continue to make more
Oh my god after dying to lady butterfly 100 times and almost came close to dropping the game this boss was a godamn walk in the park !! thanks for the guide
Thank you Cowboy for the in depth walkthrough of this game!! Thanks to you it made the game fun!
Excellent!! Just defeated the stupid horse horsr after soooooooooooooooo many games. Ugh!! I wish there was a way to upgrade defense and attack by grinding just like DS and bloodborne.. Anyways, Your walkthroughs are awesome! Been using them ever since you went to get the flame vent from Hirata and following every since. Thank you!
Cowboy: Save your Dragon Tears for when more than three people have dragon rot, depends on how much you're dying...
Me: Dang general tenzen yamauchi just died of dragon rot because I died so many times... :D
So 1 dragon droplet will cure every single npc that has dragon rot ? I was thinking 1 droplet cured 1 npc ?
@@Quack_attack_ every one at once.. I didn't use one droplet until the end of my first playthrough just about and cured everyone and did all their quests at once pretty much
The way you beat the first boss vs. My 30+ attempts really makes me go what?!
Damn, somehow I went into this area before I even had the fireworks prosthetic tool. Took me FOREVER to beat Gyoubu Oniwa.
Lol I can't imagine trying to fight him without it
@@Quack_attack_ i did. It's actually easy to beat him when u figure out his attack pattern. Then just keep deflecting his attacks
I beat him first try without them because i didnt even know they existed i got them after i got to the castle lol
@@Dr.Liam_ same
Great job as always Cowboy....your videos are outstanding!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Just finished playing through demons souls remake and now I’m here playing sekiro. Glad you have a guide for this game too! You’re a genius!
Just got done fighting the bull, it's a lot easier to deflect his hits than doing it this way in the video, I took it out in less than 2 minutes, thanks for the walkthrough though I didn't even know where to start 😂
This boss WRECKED me my first go. I thought "Blazing Bull" must mean he's a fire-based enemy and therefore my firecrackers won't work on him... OK, time to go back and use firecrackers!
Took me 4 tries, but I finally killed Gyoubu! Thanks for the walkthrough
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GUIDE MAN!!!! I MANAGED TO KILL THE GYOUBU ONIWA ON MY SECOND TRY!!!!
You have saved my ass of so many deaths and defeats from this game and being able to guide this game better then any other person. Thanks man. 🤘🏻
The bull is my end game, literally
I got all the way to the demon bell and that area with the monks before watching this realizing that these guides would have saved me a ton of time it took me like 6 attempts to beat the guy on the horse I cannot believe this I thought I was just bad but nope I was under leveled
Hilarious poison death! Great work 👌🏻 love your guides
I beat gyobu oniwa after my first try, thanks to you!❤
You are amazing. Playing this game wouldn't be possible for me without your help.
You’re a legend man, the dedication is real
Managed to kill the rampaging beef steak on my first try, just... Thanks to the Cowboy method!.
Samee dude most of the stuff I've been able to beat first or second try thanks to him.
@@donovanroe5419 Me too. After playing this game and dying and raging, I gave up. But then I found this channel and this guy is just awesome. So helpful and I'm enjoying the game and I just beat the flaming bull on my 1st try. Great walkthrough.
@@annoyingguy9939 Yea same here it helped me actually get pretty decent at the game since I was already good with parry. Heck my first save I made it up to ogre and didn't have the skill tree or coin pouches or anything so I'm in the same boat. He saved my life lol
@@donovanroe5419 The master shinobi was when i called it quits until yesterday when I started playing again and watching this guys walkthrough. Usually I don't like walkthroughs but I decided that I would make an exception just for this game.
@@annoyingguy9939 Yea same here but typically I don't even need them. There just isn't much guidance in the game, yes its through dialogue but it's still lacking so it's hard for me to know what to do next. But after ashina castle I've been on my own.
Loving this game so far and have been using your vids as I go along.awesome content as always.
19:24 I laughed so hard!! 😂
MY NAAAAAAME!!!! I love the English voice actors intro. So intense.
(If your posture breaks it's ok, his attacks are slow just get your block back up asap)
Bro you are the goat make this game so much easier

Guys an easier method for the bull that I figured out is that as the bull chases you yin around in a distance circle and as it bumps into a wall you hit twice and keep repeating your welcome
After watching your video I handled boss 1st try! Thanks man!
This guy is absolutely amazing with his strategy I no hit blazing bull this gut is the best
"This is the bull pen." I love it. Worked first try after getting demolished by the thing.
Thank God.
Its incredible how easy you make these games seem
I just started playing and these walkthroughs helped me a lot
Preciate it the bull was fairly easy glad to play this as my first souls game
You didn't get the prayer bead outta the chest in the upstairs part of the Rat killing dudes casa. You gotta climb the rafters and it's right there waiting in a chest. Very nice. I honestly cannot believe I found something you passed by. I'm proud. 😆
? I thought I saw him pick them up
Edit if I am wrong then that is my bad
I don't really understand why people would dislike these videos. Unless its by acident
One thing that helped me with the bull is as soon as he lowers his horns you can dodge forward right past him and be behind him. It is easier than trying to run around him.
Thank you so much for that strat on the
bull!! Worked like a charm! :-)
Well aside from requiring to die a few times of course.
I like this fighting cowboy ur awesome. I have been playing this game 4 a bit and just left the game for a while now ready to play more
Bro I don't know how you did that jump at 28:17 so easily, but it's driving me CRAZY trying to get it.
Glad you didn’t mention the part about the shield heads jumping on you and breaking your neck and almost one hit KO
Damn this dudes good lol. Thanks for the walkthroughs!
I ran out of fireworks on the final phase needed the grapple attack to finish him off
I love the exploration of these games and discovering stuff but when i watch ur vids after I'm stuck or finish an area, I ended up missing a bunch of stuff
That's easy to do in this game lol
"and that's all there is to it"
Mannnnnnn he kept on whooping my ass. took me 4 tries to finally get him, followed the same strategy
Can only repeat myself, so grateful for those being made by you FC.
Jesus Christ, it took me like 30 tries to kill Gyobu because I completely missed Hirata estate and didn't have the firecracker
lmao ok so on my first playthrough, dont ask how, but i completely, and i mean COMPLETELY did not get ANY prosthetics, i found them but since i skipped through the cutscenes on the first time i didnt know what they were and ignored them, because of this i rammed into the gyoubo fight without any prosthetics, took me like 2 days to beat him and i continued to play the game without prosthetics up until senpou temple, then i quit sekiro because my ass was being slapped and i came back after 2 months, started a new game followed this guide step by step and defeated gyoubo on the first try, man this really tells me the importance of cutscenes
the grappling hook is key. just saved me a lot of time. moving right along.
