I don't know Bloodborne very well, so I have a question nagging on my mind: In that fight Gascoigne, why doesn't he just make more quicksilver bullets out of his health? The fact that he only can only shoot twice ends up being a tricky problem. I was under the impression that as long as you have the necessary health, you can make as many quicksilver bullets as you want

its wild because IIRC, it was found it bloodborne first fairly recently on a few bosses and then people just kinda realised you can do it in a bunch of the other games too. Thats how the aldritch freeze came about in ds3 recently as well. Crazy how this wasn't discovered ages ago
@@WhiteMaskAlysa You've gotta imagine it was accidently run into hundreds or even thousands of times during the course of millions of playthroughs, but nobody researched it or posted about it. Or if they did, their work wasn't properly recognized in its time. I'll bet we can find gamefaqs posts about people being shocked to have this kind of skip happen to them from half a decade ago and just nobody properly followed up

@@chompythebeast Probably not, I don't think that's how it is, some things are just never found because nobody imagined such a sequence of actions. It looks easy to find when you already know what you have to do, but in real gameplay from the scratch? Some people just find new skips after spending hours in-game and trying things that no one in their mind will try even for fun. If something was encountered hundreds of times as you said, it would be posted one way or another and no one dismisses the possibility of new skips, especially in this community. You are letting your imagination take over without knowing the reality of things as well as trying to rationally look at what you see.
@@SuperLomik I see what you're saying, and perhaps I exaggerated a bit, but if I'm not mistaken, all this setup takes is facing away from boss fog in a certain manner that still lets you traverse it after having quit out of the fight? With enemies at your back, it seems entirely imaginable that this was accidentally performed by panicked players before its proper discovery. Of all set ups, this seems to fall under the "could be done accidentally" category. But I don't mean to take away from the efforts of dedicated speedrun routers and the communities around them by any means

@@haiz768 to each their own, but for context you are ment to die to the Werewolf. And or to learn to Just Run away from it. Many soulsbornes start this way, to prepare you for whats coming Up, and teach you that its often best to Just skip enemies. But If you learned the lessen to skip ist, idk why you missed the Spawn Point. Its right through the Gate and Up a ladder. And yes, at times there arent many Spawn Points, but with Patience you will find and Open Up shortcuts. I bounced Off ds1 hard for the First time, but now its my Favorite series. It takes some time to get used to, but after a while you notice that its Not as hard as many people pretend it is
the storytelling on these videos is amazing. the presentation of a problem, attempts to solve it, failures, the creation of tension and mystery-how will it work out in the end? then the triumph, overcoming the odds. really a+ stuff, so watchable. thanks for all the hard work both doing the runs and editing the videos.
I think the reason why ymfah's videos are so cool to watch is that they are a way of presenting step-by-step that is super interesting, instead of saying "do A, then do B", the videos will be like "Do A" and then will go the furthest it can before it hits a wall and THEN they'll go "Because A only goes so far, let's do B" like it shows you WHY the steps are as they are, WHY A, B and C are the steps the way they are, and the presentation is just clever and funny. Always looking forward to their videos.
My favorite Ymfah vids are the ones that end early, because rather than struggling through the challenge, he suddenly unlocks godhood and burns through the entire game in 3 minutes.

the cannon glitch is the only glitch i used before watching a ymfah video but i didnt use it to kill any boss other than a 90k hp amygdala for 21%+ all damage gem

It always amazes me how you keep figuring out more interesting ways to beat Bloodborne. The autocannon was a surprise, but it felt as if you were rewarded for your dedication to rolling the corpses. Amazing video!
6:16 I'm a bit stumped at this part, how does the music sync so perfectly with the two cannon shots when there are no cuts in the video that I noticed, yet the timing of the first shot, Gascoigne transforming and running all the way around, then falling into the second shot, it's perfectly synced up with the music. I am speechless.
Just realized the genius in showing the failures and shortfalls. Ymfah's not just telling us "this is how you win", they're telling us, "here's the only way you can win, and what happens when you don't". Cause stuff like the Ragdoll is definitely something that I would comment as "BuT CaNt YoU JuST dO tHiS??", so they're proving why they can't do that

With enemies at your back, it seems entirely imaginable that this was accidentally performed by panicked players before its proper discovery. Of all set ups, this seems to fall under the "could be done accidentally" category. But I don't mean to take away from the efforts of dedicated speedrun routers and the communities around them by any means

Never deleted a game so fast in my life. First of all you start near a werewolf without any weapons and with no instructions. Oh yeah and hope you have no life because there are no spawn points! You could play a good 45 minutes and if you die then you have to start all OVER! there should be a difficulty mode not everyone is good. The graphics are terrible and the game is only in 10fbs. Thank god i got this for free with PlayStation plus this terrible game shouldn't even be worth $20 of how bad it is. No wonder why this game has bad reviews.

@@haiz768 to each their own, but for context you are ment to die to the Werewolf. And or to learn to Just Run away from it. Many soulsbornes start this way, to prepare you for whats coming Up, and teach you that its often best to Just skip enemies.
But If you learned the lessen to skip ist, idk why you missed the Spawn Point. Its right through the Gate and Up a ladder. And yes, at times there arent many Spawn Points, but with Patience you will find and Open Up shortcuts.
I bounced Off ds1 hard for the First time, but now its my Favorite series. It takes some time to get used to, but after a while you notice that its Not as hard as many people pretend it is

I think the reason why ymfah's videos are so cool to watch is that they are a way of presenting step-by-step that is super interesting, instead of saying "do A, then do B", the videos will be like "Do A" and then will go the furthest it can before it hits a wall and THEN they'll go "Because A only goes so far, let's do B" like it shows you WHY the steps are as they are, WHY A, B and C are the steps the way they are, and the presentation is just clever and funny. Always looking forward to their videos.
My favorite Ymfah vids are the ones that end early, because rather than struggling through the challenge, he suddenly unlocks godhood and burns through the entire game in 3 minutes.
