Thank you, Dr Lim. I so wish we were introduced to Qigong at an earlier age in our lives. ❤

Love this. I have osteopososis in my hips and osteopenia in my spine. I am very active but smoked for years (who knew it was bad for bones!?) and was on traditional meds for 6 months and went off beacse of side effects. I discovered qigong about a year ago and love it. I am determined to target bone growth and love this video. Thank you. Excellent instruction too!

hi, question about osteoporosis (i have in the spine) i was wondering with the 2nd to last exercise where one bend down to the toes? is this okay for osteo? thanks and i love your video.

I’m not an expert but suffer from the same syndrome…from what I’ve learned, sometimes bending over like that can irritate the nerves, depending on one’s particular condition(s). If it makes your back feel worse, don’t do it!

These are all fairly simple, but very effective.
Just wanted to mention, the longer one does these (ie months/years),the more depth the practices may reveal.....often the most beginning practices are also the most advanced.....best wishes.
    Thanks for posting these!

I love this routine with Dr. Lim. It's relaxing and leaves me feeling strong and resilient. I appreciate the Dan Tien exercises. All of these routines have been valuable to me. Thank you!

  • @flettcherdao

the first exercise is the dantien energy packer. they do it mainly at the end, after static pile-pillar exercises. To concentrate all the energy in the dantien. So that the remnants of energy do not remain in the head or in other parts of the body.

Thanks a lot for those exercises. Dr. have discovered a problem on one of my kidnees, for the moment they don't know what the problem is, but I'm doing Qigong exercises and for sure I will have a lot of benefits of it! I'm practising Tai Chi, for sure in combination with Qigong it will do a lot of good!!! Thanks Dr. Lim Greetings from Belgium!

I have been practicing Qigong for many years having learned from a Chinese master from Beijing in Chinese, This master is also a TCM doctor. We learned 八段锦 五禽戏 etc and many forms of 太极拳。 阴阳 Is and important concept of TCM each opposing and complementary aspect is present in both males and females, so Qigong is alternatively aimed at one and the other in both males and females.

It's very clear and well presented so big thumbs up for that .... I was puzzled by the description of the last position , palms on Dan Tian , I've been practicing Chi Kung for a very long time and it's the first time I've heard women left hand first on Dan Tian covered by the right . By my understanding that is for men , women should do exactly the reverse , i.e. right palm first .... or am I wrong about this ? Would be strange since I've heard and read this more times than i can count
