7:08 for those of us returning to follow along with the exercise. If you are new here the first 7 minutes are instructions and very useful to watch.

I have struggled with insomnia for decades. When I was 42 I was introduced to pharmaceuticals and at some point, the wisdom of my body prompted me to seek alternative modalities for my medical conditions. I was on a cocktail of meds for over a decade and in 2012 weaned off all but one, for sleep. I am trying to wean off this pharmaceutical and am finding this routine, helpful and plan on sticking with it. I have complex-PTSD and I am thinking this is also good for that, in that in what I have read, with Chinese medicine, they don't have this, but look to imbalances in the liver, the heart, the kidneys. I'm looking to Chinese medicine and energy now for support in this journey and loving it and LOVE your videos (I was a professional dancer up until this fall and retired at the age of 60 and find your instructions super connected and can see they come from your own understanding of your own body - mahalo!)

As I stick with this, I note, it is definitely helping!

I don't know quite how to articulate what I feel in my body, but there is this awareness that the energy has a more balanced pattern, and it with time is easing out the imbalance expressed muscularly.

I’m an old guy and have practiced Yang tai chi short for over 30 years. As I got older, into 80s, I found that taichi became a bit difficult to do the moves like stork on 1 leg & other change direction moves. Have added G’kong from the internet. Today was the first time I’ve watched your videos. Chair & sleep. Really like your style of teaching. Have not figured out how to access all of your videos on TH-cam. Notice that videos are 6 years old! Are you still there and receiving the comments? Thanks Bill From Maui, retired in Thailand

Hey, I don’t know if anyone ever experienced this but since I was a kid I hated bed time so much. Overwhelmed by anxiety and fear that I can’t sleep easily,,, surprisingly at the age of 22 I noticed that I get anxiety around my bedtime:( it is hard to admit that I have a trauma and on repeat almost every now and then. Long story short I did this exercise last night and I had a really comfortable sleep that I haven’t had for a while, all the thoughts and worries that I try to ignore wasn’t there and slept like a baby. Thank you so much I’m forever grateful and I wish soon to heal my trauma and feel comfortable around this resting time
    Thank you
I’ll keep practicing this every night and will be back with an update
    Good night everyone 🤍

I did my daily routine for energy then another for stress, because I'm on antibiotics it's messing with my system. So when this routine came up I layed down to just listen and now I'm so calm, I wanted to sleep right away but my alarm went off to take another pill. I'm so calm I feel like everything is right in the world.

Tonight is my 2nd night doing this. I feel very clear headed, no more scattered, frantic thinking about things I don't need to be worrying about. In the palms of my hands I feel a lot of warmth tonight. I did wake up last night at the usual 1-3am time (liver time) but after some deep dan tien breathing(which I learned from another one of your videos!) I was back asleep within half an hour. usually it takes me hours to fall back asleep if I'm even able to. I will say a bit of lingering pain continues in my chest on the sternum, a bit of tightness. We shall see how things change as I continue this for 2 weeks. Thank you for helping me to go to sleep with a clear head.
You know what's funny? Doing this exercise tonight made the scent of my perfume fill the room. It's rare that I notice the scent this late in the day. I guess it warmed me up? I feel like it could be possible that something was oozing through my pores forcing the scent molecules into the air. Either way, it smells really good in my room right now!

Oh my God, Dr. Chand. I had such lingering pain in my neck and left shoulder, it was so painful, I have been holding onto to that pain for days. I have done about 5 other exercises with you today some specifically for this pain and whiley they decreased it the didn't eliminate the pain. THIS VIDEO ELIMINATED MY PAIN! I feel warm and soothed and able to breathe DEEP. The way you ended this is so beautiful, gentle and soothing. THANK YOU.

Ive got CMV/HPV6/Epstein barre and some odd blood work and weak kidneys. I have horrible insomnia. I’ve been doing this for about a week now, I always sleep more peacefully. In the beginning I would be in bed reading or watching tv and think awe man I’ve got to get up and do my routine. Always happy that I did. The last two days I noticed I didn’t feel like that I felt like it’s beginning to be apart of what I do before bed! The time went by quicker during the session maybe because I know the routine and it was easier to connect my own energy vs listening for ques. In any event these sessions really work! I’ve tried a couple of others and they really improved my mood! I’m going to keep on going with this! Thanks for sharing!
