It's hilarious to me that this is arguably one of their most successful and cohesive Pass-It-Ons, but they rated themselves so much lower than usual and questioned themselves the whole way through! 😂
I love pass it on, it's so fun and chaotic. This was such a good idea because, like Janice said, whats nostalgic to one person is not always nostalgic for another. I love how they knew that the animal biscuits were for snacking so they just opened and started snacking on them.

I think this is the best pass it on for team work without writing anything and it is 100% a pass in my books. I don't want to say it was the animal biscuits but they weren't there before.

This is one of my favourites, they had a good base of fish and chips, then no one went mental and decided to make a cloud egg or turn it into a dessert or blowtorch a pepper etc, everyone just added their own part and improved the end meal. Spot on guys
It's also astonishing how much Ben got done in his ten minutes compare to everyone else. Sure, he didn't have to go through the "have to figure out what the f***'s going on phase" (which sometimes eat up more than five minutes for the normals), but he essentially got every element that was in the final dish all set up in just his time alone. (Got the fish prep all set up except paneing/frying, got the tartar sauce set up, got the syrup started for the ketchup, and placed the peas there)
Can I just say I'm 4 minutes in and I just love the way Ben's mind works. This is why he is a professional chef, just absolutely immaculate and creative ideas on the spot. Ben you're amazing!

this is the most calm pass it on i've ever seen, everything went on so smoothly, i felt like i was watching a different show, how did this happen? hahahah
I love how they stick to the brief, add on to the final dish whilst continuing cooking other members contributions and not going “f**k it I want it to make something else” they all give themselves average scores.
I like it when Ben goes first. I feel like I rarely see it, and you get a real insight to the leader's head in these, because they start from scratch. Also, when Ben does go during the later end of pass it on, he is very, very good at saving any train wrecks if they happen, so Ben going first can lead to chaos if they do have a train wreck on their hands.
A couple of ideas for future pass it on: 1.unexpected twist( use ingredients and equipment in the most unusual way possible). 2. Camping( you can only use basic camping equipment to make a 2 course meal) 3. Left Behind(use ingredients that are really hard to use like durian or canned fish to make an amazing dish) Great video as always guys
I really want to see a pass it on with just the two chefs, but give them a particularly hard prompt and see how amazing the result is. Oh, and have a Normal provide commentary!
It’s always so impressive how time efficient the chefs are. They would have walked in, assessed the situation, prepped an ingredient, and the camera pans over to the clock to show 9 minutes left. Normals, it would be 6 minutes before they even touched anything.
@Angelous Mortis plus it involved food, organising, and being in charge. And calling people out if they tried to get away with not paying full price. All useful skills that inform his current role.
The last leftovers relay seemed more like a fridge staples relay. I would love to see a true leftovers relay that utilized meals and leftovers from meals made previously in the week. I hope that makes sense. I love to see the creativity people use to transform leftovers that they have from throughout the week and I think it would be really cool to see that in a relay.

I think the mission was accomplished it was safe but the theme was nostalgia and I think fish fingers is nostalgic and the twist of flavors was inventive. Love Jamie's face when he realized the pot noodles had no real curry left in it 🤣

We are on lockdown again and my poor kiddos were upstairs doing remote learning (and wearing ear buds) whilst I watched this. Screaming "No, James, no!!" when he threatened to dip his finger in hot oil did not go unnoticed. Anxious James is a little unsettling! That being said, everyone did very well!

Nah, this went like every other pass it on where he goes first (with the exception of the rissoto episode. that was just evil!). Just that normally, the normals come in, see what he's done, and goes whelp nope! And drives the train off in a completely different direction.

All due deference to James, Jamie is a great natural choice for going 4th. He’s the ultimate normal, and if going into a near-done dish, he’ll immediately go to a primal, near-adolescent way of thinking, like “Oh we are making XYZ! I dont know about you, but what I really like with XYZ is [insert non-intuitive food side that is zany and yet somehow complimentary to what is being made].
I miiiiiight have a recommendation for a Pass It On Theme. Camping. With dried, tinned, and long storage foods as the primary ingredients, and the individual memories of camping of the Chefs and Normals, I think it could prove an interesting challenge.
I am so happy and proud of you boys (normals) you didn't faff around, you tasted almost everything and you stuck to the brief. You maybe didn't add that much but those small things you did overall added to a complete dish that was well made and fun! Good job! James, Ebbers, decent job,, great idea from Ebbers. I've been watching Sorted 2 times a week, every week, for about 7 years now, and I have never commented or participated in the discussion before, but I'm here now to say that this is the strongest pass I've seen the guys do and I'm legit so proud. Bloody well done my dudes.

It’s always so impressive how time efficient the chefs are. They would have walked in, assessed the situation, prepped an ingredient, and the camera pans over to the clock to show 9 minutes left. Normals, it would be 6 minutes before they even touched anything.

The last leftovers relay seemed more like a fridge staples relay. I would love to see a true leftovers relay that utilized meals and leftovers from meals made previously in the week. I hope that makes sense. I love to see the creativity people use to transform leftovers that they have from throughout the week and I think it would be really cool to see that in a relay.

I think the mission was accomplished it was safe but the theme was nostalgia and I think fish fingers is nostalgic and the twist of flavors was inventive. Love Jamie's face when he realized the pot noodles had no real curry left in it 🤣

We are on lockdown again and my poor kiddos were upstairs doing remote learning (and wearing ear buds) whilst I watched this. Screaming "No, James, no!!" when he threatened to dip his finger in hot oil did not go unnoticed. Anxious James is a little unsettling! That being said, everyone did very well!

Nah, this went like every other pass it on where he goes first (with the exception of the rissoto episode. that was just evil!). Just that normally, the normals come in, see what he's done, and goes whelp nope! And drives the train off in a completely different direction.

All due deference to James, Jamie is a great natural choice for going 4th. He’s the ultimate normal, and if going into a near-done dish, he’ll immediately go to a primal, near-adolescent way of thinking, like “Oh we are making XYZ! I dont know about you, but what I really like with XYZ is [insert non-intuitive food side that is zany and yet somehow complimentary to what is being made].

I feel like this pass it on was almost relaxing by comparison to others. With the nostalgia theme that was quite fun. Definitely sounds like you ended up with a simple tasty dish
