Times Square IS actually a different kind of mall unlike its fellow friends like Mid Valley Megamall, Pavillion, KLCC etc. It gives more space for low end to mid end brands to be there, hence the local market vibes.

Hi Byanca G, you should go to Genting Highland with your boyfriend once you have free time to go there. Also don't forget to bring along a jacket or sweaters, it's quite pretty cold in there.
Locals shop at Times Square mall. Everything is very cheap there. I got my glasses at that mall when I was in Malaysia, it cost me only about $40 with blue ray compared to the price in US, I usually pay for a decent one for more than $100 US.

In malaysia, try buying better shoes as the weather is hot and humid. Between 100 to 200 is normal for us but it last longer
You should also try going to Pangkor Island, its a small island between Penang and KL, near Ipoh. Definitely a less commercialize Island

so sad to see '' K.L. Time Square Mall'' going down market fast.. it wasn't like that just a few years ago.. but the truth is there's too many Mall already in K.L. and more opening up very soon.. people just walk around in there to get away from the heat..
