Welcome to Malaysia guys! The reason why we have so many malls is because Malaysians like to get out of the heat and enjoy shopping comfortably in aircond malls. Although I feel there is waaayyyy too many malls now.
Yes, we love cars even though they are so expensive here compared to most countries. I love my Audi (Vorsprung durch technik). And my old BMW.
If you are looking for any electronic items, pls go to Low Yat Plaza which is within walking distance to Berjaya Times mall. Everyone shops there. Don't forget to haggle with the prices a little bit.
As for the candy you tried, those look like budget candy that nobody really eats.
Anyways, enjoy the rest of your stay here and don't forget, if you need info just stop any Malaysian and ask. 60% of us speak English and we are always always helpful and friendly to foreigners.

Hi! I just came back to Manila yesterday from KL Malaysia. The hotel we stayed was in Berjaya Times Square East and it has a mall in it. Literally walked through that mall and usually ate lunch in the food court. But I've never been to the theme park area of that mall. Missing KL, their malls are pretty nice also the Pavillion and KLCC Suria. Your video made me missed my stay when I was there for 7 days. More power and God bless. Mary, from Philippines 🇵🇭

Time Square is actually a normal mall with mixtures of like everything under one roof.
To avoid counterfeit stuff, perhaps you guys can patronize Pavilion KL for all genuine and high end designer products.
Even you can go KLCC Pertronas Twin Towers (mall there is Suria KLCC).
Another mall with high end designer labels is The Gardens Mall, the connected mall is Mid Valley (this one also consists of everything exciting under one roof).
Try seeing them if you have time. Stay safe & take care.

Actually this mall was more lively and happening 5-6 years ago. Then when many more new malls opening plus Covid happened, it did make things going down as more shops closed. Just recently they started opening new shops. When you guys pointed out about counterfeit products being sold, this place used to be a high end mall type. Apart from the theme park, there was a big arcade games area and a snooker zone. The LG floor had a lot of restaurants too.
