Before travelling anywhere please make your homework. its clearly stated which airport and terminal on your ticket. Ask information first before assuming anything. anyway love your content. Stop using clickbait.
There is a free shuttle bus service between klia and klia2 every 10 minutes. At klia2 catch it at bay A10, Level 1 Transportation Hub.

Why associated the honest mistake (or should I say silly mistake) made by you and no one else as Malaysia's mistake? It can be anywhere in the universe. @@zaharizak its unfortunate they went to klia2 instead of klia. But then perhaps also that chinese visa is only 30 days vs 90 days for americans.. ouch. But thats already known. Malaysians need visa to enter China too.

I did the same thing, only in reverse. Luckily, I found a shuttle that got me to the other terminal in time for my flight. Travel to new places is always a challenge but it's all part of the experience. 😊
Seasoned travelers shouldn't make this silly mistake. U should hv checked which terminal was your flight at.
Passengers have to make sure whether they board at KLIA or KLIA2... usually KLIA2 is only for AIR ASIA...

Nothing went wrong, except Malaysia only gives mainland Chinese passport holders up to 30 days of stay for tourist purpose. Great passport👍
Just be aware. Hand carry is only 7kg, every where. Dont take your chance carrying more.
When she mentioned 20kgs hand luggage in M'sia, that's news. Definitely only 7kgs, that we know of, regardless of airlines. Unless of course, if you are on biz class or 1st class.

Byanca, the more interesting routes to Langkawi should be KL to Genting and Cameron HIghland then visit Malaysia food cities Ipoh and Penang then takes a ferry to Langkawi !
The island to start the honeymoon for local couples if you rent a car or motorbike you will be free to go anywhere around island as you like
Thera're 2 primary airports in Malaysia, KLIA 1 and KLIA 2. Hope, never get confused with it.
Hopefully weather there is fine because you just came there in rainy season. Suppose 3 weeks ago is fine season go to langkawi and you know view in hot weather is more "brightness" then rainy day for photo or video. Whatever enjoys your vacation, everythings will fine. I have hint for you, Koh Lipe just other side Langkawi if you find the ferry terminal maybe you have chance going there.😏

@@joycetan4684 dont forget duty free market there you can get many kind of chocolate buy in bulky because price are lower than usual. Hint and safety for you and family, if you go to Dayang Bunting island Langkawi for swim in that pool needed wear floating jacket because the current sometimes will pull you down under like sink holes.

Terminal 2 is low cost carriers terminal. Ot has it's own local and international flight. Airasia, scoot airways, jetstar and Cebu air.
Terminal 1 is for full board flight whichbalso has it's own local and international flight. All international airline qill use KLIA Terminal 1. Be careful and happy vacation

@@deanmall9555 KLIA2 aka Terminal 2 KLIA is dedicated for low cost carriers. Meanwhile KLIA1 or Terminal 1 KLIA for full fledge airlines.

We have been here since 1 August 22 and will be leaving 6th Aug. It rained 1 night and then another in the morning. Its generally overcast but it has been rather cooling...so it's great.

Hello Byanca i am from Singapore i am coming 40 this month on the 29. First of all u are beautiful. I am not lying. Where are u from?. Honestly i don't want to anyhow guess. But anyway thank u so much for sharing with us your experience while in KL. To be very honest the last time i been to KL was in 2006! Yeah! That's a long time ago

i read news said in 2018 until 2021 almost 7m chinese ppl visit malaysia but only 5m leaving, 1.2m dont leave malaysia, at least u are not 1 of them 😄
yes even Malaysian sometimes got confused between KLIA (domestic/international - MAS & other airlines) and KLIA2 (known as low cost carrier terminal which ONLY operated by AIR ASIA)

I was taxi drive from LCCT till the terminal moved to KLIA2. Name mr 1 full fare airline operating from K2... u dont know dont jump.
KLIA2 not just served Air Asi (AK)a but also other budget airlines; JetStar, Cebu Pacific, Scoot and IndiGo. Another terminal is closer to Kuala Lumpur city; Subang SkyPark which serve budget airlines Batik Air (previously known as Malindo Air) and FireFlyz.

5:11 I suspect this Grab driver has never taken any flight in his life from either KLIA1 or KLIA2. If he has he could assist you with the right airport to Langkawi.
both klia or klia2 has flight to langkawi depends on which airlines you suppose to board....
I was confused to who on earth were the busybody gang with their subpar english checking on people’s passport randomly. If they were working at the airport, they should have known that batik air fly from the main terminal rather than the 2nd terminal.

Far as I remember langkawi flights were from klia2!
There are two terminals the old one is the nicest one the new one is only for Airasia low cost airline and the terminal is basic as well
Yeah , KL has two airports that are not connected at all
I'm a grab driver. whenever I got booking to airport I will asking pax which airlines they using. sometimes they also not sure which terminal, klia 1 or 2.
if they with low-cost ticket but book grab to klia 1 will reconfirm and normally I'm right and send them to correct terminal

There is nothing wrong with malaysia. The heading to me is just misleading and to just distract you as tourist.
Price of hotel shot up, went to wrong terminal, rain, flight had to circle Langkawi for 2 hours (?).

Chill guys, the first guy checking the passport actually perhaps work in the airport. The other two guys are ordinary people trying to help this couple. No mafia or gang will show you way to information counter so you can get to know which terminal you supposed to be in.

There are two airport terminals klia (Mas Airline) and klia2 (Air Asia) next to each other, make sure it is the right terminal.

KLIA1 and KLIA2 is different airport. KLIA2 only for Air Asia.
Oh no...KLIA2 is only for low cost carrier i.e Airasia.
Malindo/Batik Air should ideally be flying from KLIA 2. Thats the reason for the whole confusion.
Exactly those Malindo people need to be adviced on this.

Mal & Indo = Mal-Indo. 49% owned by conglomerate LionAir, Pak Rusdi Kirana and 51% by Malaysia National Aerospace & Defence Industries. 😉 So, you know who lahhh... 😁💻
