Browsing through your comments it feels like you’re getting a lot more negativity and nitpicking. I just wanted to tell you that I think you are absolutely delightful and I very much appreciate your work. You’re a rockstar lady! 👏🙌👍
👏 The little one eats differently than adults that’s for sure. However when I was getting mine used to table food we ate, I used a ricer or food meal so they could eat the same as us as long as it was palatable for a toddler.
After reading some of these comments, it’s like damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Poor Becky! Your amazing. You have changed. But people change! You have moved! And became a mom! And have a million responsibilities. That changes you! But not for anything bad! Just different. I love your channel, you’re amazing! Your family is amazing! Keep evolving however you want my dear!
Becky I know I have said this before, but please don’t take the negative and nit picky comments to heart. Your videos are wonderful and you so very often keep me company too while I’m in my own kitchen :) I love how you have grown with your channel. ❤
I (54) have been vegan for 10 years and love that your mentions lately is inclusive without any sarcasm. I am not the only vegan here - you do have quite a following of vegans 😉 I have been subscribed since the beginning and I love your energy. Everything you cook can be veganised - without any effort (especially for longtime vegans). I think the one thing most people do not realise is that vegans do not hate the taste of meat and that we have eaten meat, eggs, dairy and honey for the most part of our lives - so we know exactly what's on the "other side" 😊 Vegan mayonnaise are so easy to make with aquafaba (same level of prep as the egg-mayo you've just made - even less prep I suppose - but the method is 💯 % the same). V-parmesan takes 2min to make etc. etc. That besides: thank you for always showing up - you are the one youtuber no one needs to 'guess' if there will be footage or not. I love the consistency. Also: your taking on sponsors is great - it shows that you are serious about growing your business. Whoever has a problem with that need to step in any business owner's shoes for a day. I am in Cape Town, South Africa and although our climates etc. differ immensely, your garden videos has come in handy more than once over the years. You are truly an inspiration. Oh my, this is getting to be an essay 😅 Another thing: I 👀 someone complain about the fact that no kiddies toys are laying around: well, good on you if that's the way you want to run your channel - not one person will be happy to be surrounded by their children's toys if at the office - your kitchen and other parts of your home you care to show is your office, so good for you! Again, thank you for always showing up.
I love your comments! I'm not vegan - more the opposite. I'm sort of "ketovore" (for about 20 years and long before it was a "thing") which really just means I'm mostly carnivore these days but will add some keto friendly veggies (I could never live without onions, garlic, and tomatoes or things like tomato or low carb pasta sauce). I think most of Becky's food can easily be translated into all sorts of diets. I know it would be super easy to make keto (except for some of the baking). As for mayo, I often make it using butter as the fat for a carnivore twist. It's fascinating how we all find what works for us so we can enjoy the same basic food! I'm with you on the decisions Becky and Josh have made about including their child in her videos in any way. And your point about this being a business and the kitchen and garden being the office is a good one. I also agree about sponsorships. If you enjoy a creator and feel a certain bond form with them, then I'd think you would be happy to see them succeed and do well. Her sponsorship spots are well integrated and don't intrude on the content overly much (though it wouldn't bother me). I know this helps them financially which means the channel will continue. And a brief mention of a related company or product is a small price to pay for the high quality audio and visual of great equipment and for excellent editing. And for knowing the channel is self-supporting so it will continue to be there for us.
SUGGESTION! Garlic, ginger pucks alternative!! Put garlic/ ginger, etc, in a gallon Ziploc bag, flatten it out, then take a chopstick or skewer and press it down onto the bag in a cross hatch pattern and freeze it. When frozen, bend the bag at the "perforations," and you have little flat squares already in a Ziploc baggie. It skips the portioning out, freezing, then bagging steps. It thaws much quicker also. 😊
I do a variation of this. Rather than portioning with the chopstick, I freeze flat and then once frozen I just break it up so I can measure at will as I need it.
Your faces when you asked Josh if that Big Mac salad would replace a burger for him! Cracked me up-both of you! Just keep being who you both are. Y'all are the cutest!
Muting your video while tasting I believe is absolutely NOT necessary. Your reactions to tasting is genuine that shows your true passion for cooking and food and I believe necessary! If some complaints were given to you about this just please take them in stride. Never change who you are and how you do things. Remember, the authentic Becky is who we all love and come here to watch!!
It's also ok to cater to her customer. This is how she and Josh make a living. If people are not watching the video because of mouth noise it takes income away from their family.
Becky I want you to know that I spent a lot of time watching your videos which keeps me calm I have anxiety your voice is very soothing and you're such a nice person it comes through ignore people on their negative behavior there are some people that just cannot be nice
Becky, I planted 10 tomato plants, made 3 lasagnas and vacuum sealed 12 ears of corn! Oh and I made a zucchini casserole too! Smells so good in my kitchen! Thanks you so much for the encouragement! ❤❤❤
I learned by a greek old lady in Rhodos, she grated the cucumber and put it in luke warm water and then added salt so the water tasted like the mediterranean Sea(really salty) Then she made the rest of the tzatziki, the greek yoghurt, the garlic(lots of it!) and then she put all the cucumber in a cloth and put a heavy bowl on top to get all the water out. The absolut best tzatziki I ever tasted, and I still do it the same way at home
Becky. I been watching you since beginning. You do you. Don’t let others influence you. They can mute your sounds or not watch. I thank your great & keep you in your videos. ❤
I'm always puzzled by viewers who complain, especially when they can solve so many of their complaints themselves in seconds! "You move/speak too quickly/slowly" Just adjust the speed of the video. "You're not loud enough/too loud" Just adjust your sound. "I don't want to hear chewing noises, etc" Just mute for a second and you won't hear a thing. "I don't like one of the recipes Becky's going to make in the middle of the video" I would actually suggest watching anyway since you can sub one protein for another (I hate salmon, but watch videos with salmon because I can probably make it with chicken or pork or another fish I like better) or you may be able to use a technique or a sauce from the recipe. If you insist on it not touching your eyeballs, don't skip the video, just skip the part you think you're not interested in by fast forwarding. You get the picture. Not everything has to be spoon-fed and you can control much of your experience.
When I need to caramelize ground beef, I press all of it into a gigantic thin "hamburger patty" .....basically to cover the bottom of the pan.... then when it's caramelized I flip the whole thing over and do it again ....that way I get a good sear on both sides ... then I use my little chopper thing and crumble it and season it..
Hi Becky, I’m glad you did a video on the low sugar from sure jell. I decided to try that when I open the box there was no directions in it. There are no longer putting the directions in there. Had to go online and watch your video again thank you. The front of the box says recipes online. i’m 74 years old and I enjoy your videos very much. You are very knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you for all you do.
My Daughter from God just had this experience...what's up with no instructions in the Sure Jell Box? So glad I had a back up copy to read for her but honestly Becky's video was a much better help since it was her first time making lower sugar strawberry freezer jam. Thank you Becky!
Me, too! I smile when I see them ease around the corner hoping for a disaster! 😂 My current furry friend (my pic ↖️) is the first dog I've owned who doesn't accompany me to the kitchen. His brother always came into the kitchen with me when he was alive, so Kirby would come in with him. I think he came in because of competition, but since his brother's been gone, he stopped coming. Now he listens for me to say, "Ackkkk!" or "Oh, nooo!" or something that indicates it's likely I've dropped food onto the floor. Then he races in, skids around the corner and announces he's there to clean up! 😂😂 Even though it does make it easier not having to dodge a dog or two, I miss it a little bit.
Hi Becky and friends! Becky, I would really love to see a video about how you maintain and prepare all of your various tools across all of your activities. For example, seasoning your ironware, washing your stainless, laundering gloves and spoons, sharpening knives and other blades, and so forth. I'm sure you've found some great tricks to ensuring your tools last a long time in the best shape possible.
Lovely to see Josh with you in the kitchen. I think what ever you cook would be OK with Josh. Love watching your videos. I have gone back and watched almost all your vids. Has taken a while but I had lots of time going through Chemo. 💕💕🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hi Becky, I live in an extremely busy city in Asia and always envy people living their lives in a homestead. I'd dream to have my farm and I spend days and days harvesting, preserving, enjoying my own produce. Your channel fulfils my impossible dream.
very good job on the add part-felt really organic and natural. and the product is perfectly"on brand" with your channel.never thought i would compliment someone on their add haha but its so rare to see one and not cringe
I love dinner in a bowl, I usually end up mixing everything together anyways, when we have eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy I tear up my biscuits and mix everything together, lol, but one thing I want to say is I notice there are some complainers in the comments not many but enough to notice, and Becky is so kind and tries to please everyone and I think its the people complaining that need to change their ways not becky, not all people do things the same way and that's the beauty of the world, the internet can be a hateful place and I would just encourage kindness and compassion in the comments, but overall the comment section on Becky's channel are helpful and so sweet but I've just noticed a few not so nice ones, sorry for the rant but nobody is going to push around Becky on my watch!!!!!
A heads up to those who regularly cook with Quinoa. The price is going to double next month due to several reasons and is expected to stay high until the supply chain can return to normal and next years plants can be harvested. Just as Maple Syrup is going up due to Canada not having the correct weather to produce the Syrup and Olive oil from Europe, the weather along with Civil unrest in other countries is producing a lack of products to import. They can't sell what they don't have.
@IoneEvans I didn't complain, but found all those chomping sounds just plain nasty, kind of like sitting next to someone chewing with an open mouth! Her cute facial expressions say plenty.
My Dads 95 and he loves sweet n sour chicken. I'd like to see you do a freezer meal with those ingredients. We really love all your freezer meals and its easier on me to cook ahead and do a little at meal time. Thank you.
In Australia we have fresh salad on our burgers all the time, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, can either cook your onion or use red onion, plus cheese of cause. Yummy. I've also made home-made big mac sauce, kids wanted it many years ago, maccys so instead of buying fast food, I made it at home. Kids loved it more then fast food. Even today as grown kids they still ask for my famous big mac burgers lol😅
We do that here, too, with burgers made at home or in restaurants. I just had a disappointment when I was making my burger for dinner tonight. I knew I had a couple of small Campari tomatoes left and when I went to grab one, both had gone bad in the last two days. So then I grabbed my lettuce and it had got too cold in the crisper ruining my lettuce. My red onion was fine, but I wanted more than that. So, I had to change direction. I grabbed a sweet onion, sliced it up and started it caramelizing in one pan, while sliced and sautéed some mushrooms with a little garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce in another. I stuck a couple of pieces of bacon in the microwave to cook on paper towels. Then I just needed to decide on my cheese - Swiss or blue... I chose Swiss so I mixed a little dijonnaise with grainy dijon and proceeded to make a great dinner. But I did miss my original plan of salady toppings...
I think it's interesting to see you put Beetroot on your burgers. I love beets but never thought to put a slice on a burger....wow I'll have to try that
The burger sauce is more of a Southern come back sauce. Big Mac Sauce is Thousand Island dressing, sweet pickle relish and mayo. It originated in our home town and we all grew up knowing the ingredients. I love come back sauce too, it's absolutely amazing to dip fries in
Hi Becky! I have a video idea for you, if you're interested :) I thought it'd be very interesting to see you do a garlic focused recipe video when it's time for you to harvest your garlic. For example making garlic oil, garlic butter, maybe some sort of garlic soup or sandwich spread and even black garlic (even though that's quite the project so I understand if you don't do black garlic haha). Just an idea because I think you always make really nice and well researched content and I'd love to see your take on it! :) I've been watching you for a while now and I love all your videos! :)
QUESTION: When tomato and cucumber season arrive, will you do up a gazpacho recipie? Gazpacho is a ltille like beef soup or stew with a zillion recipie variations and plenty of possible adaptations from there. Health wise it can be a Martha Steward goid thing in the heat, eat a healthy serving to fill up when eating a lot doesnt feel good due to the heat, or simply make it as a different/ additional dish when the harvest is overwhelmingly bountiful. (Left over gazpacho can be used to make savory muffins in the vein of zuchini in sweet muffins too.)
Hi Becky! First I'd like to say how much I love your videos and check every day for a new one. That being said I learned this from watching chef Jet Tila about never serving your chopsticks standing up in a bowl. At Japanese funerals, a bowl of rice is left with two chopsticks standing vertically in the center. When you place chopsticks straight upright in a bowl, it's said to bring bad luck. You should serve them either laying down beside your serving dish or laying across the bowl. Also, your knives are always super sharp, how do you sharpen them? Looking forward to your next video!
Josh just gave you a classic idea for pizza in a bowl…..roasted bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives with garlic sausage and/or pepperoni topped with an Italian tomato sauce with delicious buttery garlic flatbreads!!! Mmmmn.
I have a rice cooker and I love it. I wash and rinse my rice twice but I keep the water from the rinses and if you have house plants or patio plants they love the rice water it can be put into jars and stored in the fridge. I can grow anything outside but houseplants it's a kiss of death in the house. I watch a lot of Korean and Chinese cooking shows and it's what they do. It's quite good for the plants
We are visiting Oregon for the first time right now and just had dinner at Lovelys Fifty Fifty, its in Portland and its a James Beard nominated pizza place. It was to die for pizza, best we've ever had if anyone needs a good recommendation!!
People forget that they can dampen parchment paper before use. It doesn’t affect its performance and allows the paper to either stay down flat or get into all corners of a pan when necessary.
Becky and Josh you both are doing a great job. I am so thankful for both of you. This is my very favorite TH-cam channel. Thank you for all your hard work and amazing videos. 💜
Omg Becky! I’m so glad I found you. I’m 72 years old, and I used to make mayo all of the time, like my mother, with a cold mixer bowl, and it took a while. I tried it a couple of weeks ago, and it didn’t “make”. I watched this, and I made it, and it turned out great! Thank you so much. I put in after I made it: lots of fresh lemon juice, a little salt, and a sprinkle of paprika. Go immersion blender. Thank you again!
Hello, fantastic! Who doesn't love something in a bowl. Especially fun for kids too! I was just watching a gardening video and found out that when i was my rice you can actually use the water to water indoor and outdoor plants! Potato water is also good. I do not like wasting water so this was very useful. Thank you Becky for another wonderful video, love watching all the things that you do and love that i can find out about new ingredients i have never tried before. Hope your family has a fantastic weekend!
These will be perfect for my husband. He love to take bowls to work. Thanks for these 😊 and Made In cookware is awesome. You inspired me to get the stovetop grill and I love it!
I would love to see a video of a weeks worth of real life meals throughout your day. So what meals you cook, how you turn leftovers into new meals etc. love your videos x
Keep up the great work, Becky. I'm sure it is a lot of hard work preparing the foods and the video's. I have tried some of your recipes and they turned out great! Don't stop what you do because there are a lot us out here that thoroughly enjoy your cooking!!
it usually says on the rice packaging to wash the rice. They don't really do anything to the rice before packaging, so you don't really know what is exactly on the rice from the field. So you should definitely wash your rice
Becky, I don't think any of your comments are negative. Most of them that I read are positive and good comment to you. I enjoy your videos and what you say along with your video that you make that particular day and you have given me a lot of ideas when I'm in the kitchen. I am very proud of you for who you are. Becky, keep up the good work 💙❗❗❗
Becky all these recipes look and sound good. Next weekend I am going to make your crockpot baked beans for our late 4th of July celebration. My husband has to work on the 4th. I also was trying to find your Cole slaw recipe but it's not on your scratch pantry recipes. I would love to make it also for the 4th. Cole slaw is one of my husband and kids favorites. Can you please tell me how you make the dressing for the Cole slaw. Love watching your videos.
In real life, I was taught that it was beyond rude if anyone could hear you eating. Becky is a lady in everything else she does, and when people stop watching, it could have bad effects on the entire channel. I am glad she took this seriously.
I bought that HOT Sauce for my sister for one of her Mother's Day gifts. I love to get odd ball hot sauces for my sis' kind of fun. Plus, the Yellow Bird bottle looked fun. Good to hear! Now I'll get myself one!
a vegan option for the chipotle sauce I would say is a cashew based or nut based chipotle sauce. Nut based, especially cashew make really creamy sauces, and super tasty.
Hi, Becky. A good tip for you with cucumbers and I do it to all. I don't think there's a particular kind that you do or don't, but with cucumbers. If you want to get rid of that, slimy is lime bitter kind of. Liquid that comes off cucumbers. When you slice the ends, just rub it for a few seconds on the ends. And it draws out that bitterness and when I do this. I also 102 like burpless. So it might help with that as well. I don't have any scientific proof for anything. It was something my mother taught me and I know you cherish things that you've learned from your mom so I do as well and it's always seem to work for me. So I hope that tip works for you. Great job on your videos and your meals are always so yummy. I never know where to start when I want to cook somethi. Wish you would put a cookbook out. But I do appreciate your scratch pantry. Please be sure to update those even with your new recipes.
It is important to rinse rice! Talc is used to keep the rice “lubricated” in the packaging process. Though considered “safe” for consumption, talc contains asbestos, it has also been linked to uterine and ovarian cancers.
Try pickling spicy green pepper with lemon and salt and keep it in fridge for 2 to 3 days or till is starts turning yellow it's absolutely tasty with salad or rice dishes or sandwiches
Love it keep up what your doing ,don’t let anyone dictate the way you make your videos this is YOU this is what you do!!! I love all your videos and also at my age I learn some new things … ♥️♥️♥️
Not only do I wash my rice, I soak overnight and for the next 2-3 sprout it by rinsing 2-3 times/day. Then I either use it or dehydrate it and get a nice big jar made up over time which I pull from. Same with beans and nuts. I use ACV during the soaking. Salt for nuts. It’s worth the effort. Sprouting increases nutrition and soaking cleans mold off nuts. I always have jars going. It’s a routine with the rinsing. Love when little tails appear…then it’s time to dehydrate or use.
I appreciate how you show us substitutions we can use. Sometimes you just have to use what's on hand. I am always learning from your videos, keep up the great work
Made the first recipe about an hour ago cause didn't have any dinner inspiration till seeing this, and b/c I always have Asian sauces/condiments/spices at home - that first bowl was SOOOOOO GOOD. I added a jammy egg and that was the cherry on top. Have made a lot of your recipes Becky, and this is one my top 3 favorite TH-cam channels.
You give such amazing recipes! I’m going to make a simplified version of marry me chicken for dinner. ❤ Now with these recipes, I can’t wait to try them out. I just went to Costco yesterday and between that haul and the items in my pantry, I can make any of these ❤. Thank you for sharing and providing such gentle motivation. ❤
Hi Becky. Love those ideas. Quick comment: I have learned to make couscous another way. You can toast it as you did but then you put it in your serving dish. You boil your liquid and you pour it on top, just half of it and cover. Couscous gets cooked with that method and you're sure to not overcook it You can add more liquid as needed. My dad would also put raisins in the couscous before adding the liquid. So yum!
Always always wash your rice. There are several reasons. Traditionally rice is left overnight in cold water. This to neutralize fytonutrients and make nutrients more available. Same actually goes for grains and legumes. If you forgot to leave your rice overnight. Wash it until is becomes clear. So your rice is a. Washed. B. It wont stick and makes your rice fluffier and not puddinglike.
If you dont wash your rice. It will stick immediatley while cooking and becomes soggy. If you want sticky rice you cook it just a bit longer in order for it to release the sticky carbs.
preaching to the choir girl about high quality cook wear - for me 🇨🇦 I discovered Paderno back in late 1990’s - god bless my father - twice sometimes three times a year he’d be up and outside a Home Hardware store to be one of the first five or six customers - many times it was still dark - how he did it while still working I do not know - all of my pots and pans except the nonstick frying pans were bought at a seriously deep discounts - sometimes pieces were fifty / sixty percent off - since I was still working on my Masters and not ready to set up house - Santa made some incredibly generous and wonderful gifts over four / five yrs - a dozen pieces with half a dozen lids - oddly enough the lids were never on sale - so Santa gifted the dozen pieces and I used any bday $$ for the lids - how wonderful to setup house ready to cook that first wknd (I didn’t 😉🤫though I could have) and am still cooking 26 yrs later with all the same pieces - is quality worth the cost YES FOLKS it really is - now back to rewatching your video to find some dinner ideas 🤣😂 so many thnx Miss Becky so many thnx 🇨🇦🙏
Hi Becky, thanks for this great video. My married daughter loves dinner in a bowl recipes! I’m definitely going to share this video with her. I can’t wait to try these yummy looking recipes. I’m going to order the Korean red pepper flakes now. Thanks for your great videos! You are very good at explaining why you do things a particular way, in a very professional yet friendly manner. That’s a difficult balance to achieve-teaching without preaching and you do an amazing job. Love your videos. Your number one in my book! ❤❤❤
Next time you make egg roll in a bowl, instead of using coleslaw mix try using Taylor Farms Asian chopped salad mix. It has carrots, savoy and green cabbage, celery, carrots, cilantro and green onions and you can use the little bags of wonton strips and sliced almonds to garnish your bowl- so good!
Browsing through your comments it feels like you’re getting a lot more negativity and nitpicking. I just wanted to tell you that I think you are absolutely delightful and I very much appreciate your work. You’re a rockstar lady! 👏🙌👍
@@carmancloud agree : what’s with the nitpicking ? It’s rude

SUGGESTION!
Garlic, ginger pucks alternative!! Agreed! It's flatter to store as well
Great suggestion. I've been putting mine in ice trays (dedicated for the purpose) then into bags. Definately going to give this a go.
Great idea.
I do this with leftover tomato paste and chipotles in adobo sauce.
I do a variation of this. Rather than portioning with the chopstick, I freeze flat and then once frozen I just break it up so I can measure at will as I need it.

Well said!
Agreed, I thought this was odd on the past few videos and live.
AGREED!!! Her eyes are so eloquent and speak volumes; I wouldn't change it for anything. I love it when she does that.
It's also ok to cater to her customer. This is how she and Josh make a living. If people are not watching the video because of mouth noise it takes income away from their family.
I didn't comment, but i certainly didn't enjoy the chomps! @TS-nw8ph
Becky I want you to know that I spent a lot of time watching your videos which keeps me calm I have anxiety your voice is very soothing and you're such a nice person it comes through ignore people on their negative behavior there are some people that just cannot be nice

Becky. I been watching you since beginning. You do you. Don’t let others influence you. They can mute your sounds or not watch. I thank your great & keep you in your videos. ❤
Exactly well said
If those people stop watching her videos, her income can drop substantially, if she doesn't make her viewers happy, she can disappear pretty fast.
That is a brilliant idea, I will definitely give it a try.
@@arescueworks great for sliders too..put the big patty on a slab of buns and cut all at once
Ooooo! Great idea.
Love this idea! Thank you ❤
I do this, too!
I called the number on the box and they're going to send me a paper copy of the recipes for the jams and jelly's for the low sugar.
Yes, I had to scan the QR code then choose the recipe form a few different ones; I would have preferred the paper copy too!
I'm gonna say it again, Becky you have everything a network is looking for in a cooking show! ❤️ watching your content!
😂😂😂😂
I just love when your pups make an appearance!
My mother always told me if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all ok ❤❤❤
Becky I really like how your family doesn’t run from rice , flour or sugar. You eat balanced and tasty meals
I love to make an Italian Bowl with Cheesy Polenta on the bottom of roasted veggies and Italian Meatballs with a bit of Marinara Sauce. So so good.
😋 Oh My
That sounds super yummy!
Wow! Need to right that idea down.
If you save your water from the rice that contains starch, you can use it for your flowers, they will appreciate it. :)
House plants love it too
Also a hair rinse, makes hair more shiny 😊
Rice water is great for hair but it can also cause protein overload.
Can you put this on noodles
Ah good idea 👍
Lovely to see Josh with you in the kitchen. I think what ever you cook would be OK with Josh. Love watching your videos. I have gone back and watched almost all your vids. Has taken a while but I had lots of time going through Chemo. 💕💕🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Well said!
I cannot begin to express how much I look forward to your videos. Love, love, love them.
You're absolutely correct. We need to continue preparing for food shortages.

@@Lucinda_Jackson sometimes, its the simple we crave. But still sounds pretty yummy with what you did make.
I've been watching you for a while now and I love all your videos! :)
As a vegetarian I really appreciate it when you include some vegetarian recipes or recipes that can be adapted to not include meat.
I love all these summery bowl dinners! And I love it when you and Josh do taste tests...so fun 😊
Just love meals in a bowl!!! Thanks for the new ideas ! Such a sweet couple and Josh is a very lucky man !!
I lived in Japan for 3 years my mommason always rinsed her rice at least twice. I do it myself.
Black bean and sweet potato enchiladas are actually really delicious too!

You have such a calming demeanor. That's why i love watching you. Hope your family has a wonderful weekend, and keep up the good work🙂🙂

Keep up the great work, Becky. I'm sure it is a lot of hard work preparing the foods and the video's. I have tried some of your recipes and they turned out great! Don't stop what you do because there are a lot us out here that thoroughly enjoy your cooking!!
Love seeing josh enjoy the burger in the bowl!
We made the hamburger salad a month ago. We make mini air fried French fries to go on top as the “croutons.” Highly recommend.
it usually says on the rice packaging to wash the rice. They don't really do anything to the rice before packaging, so you don't really know what is exactly on the rice from the field. So you should definitely wash your rice
Great salads Becky!!! Do miss the crunching sounds but not complaining.. This is YOUR shop!

In real life, I was taught that it was beyond rude if anyone could hear you eating. Becky is a lady in everything else she does, and when people stop watching, it could have bad effects on the entire channel. I am glad she took this seriously.
For a "creamy" vegan component to the chipotle sauce, use silken tofu. Add a bit of lemon or lime juice and blend to make into a creamy sauce base.
Falafel sandwich with fresh cucumbers and pickles is a delicious combination
I bought that HOT Sauce for my sister for one of her Mother's Day gifts. I love to get odd ball hot sauces for my sis' kind of fun. Plus, the Yellow Bird bottle looked fun. Good to hear! Now I'll get myself one!
a vegan option for the chipotle sauce I would say is a cashew based or nut based chipotle sauce. Nut based, especially cashew make really creamy sauces, and super tasty.
The Korean bowl and the hamburger bowl sounds so good!!!
Cabbage rice is a good one too, just use the food processor to finely chop cabbage and cook it like you would cauliflower rice.
good to know!!! love cabbage
I love EVERYTHING in a bowl! So appreciative of this video 😊
I do a baked sweet potato and then when it is done I put in butter and goat cheese. So GOOD!

It is important to rinse rice! Talc is used to keep the rice “lubricated” in the packaging process. Though considered “safe” for consumption, talc contains asbestos, it has also been linked to uterine and ovarian cancers.
WOW! I did not know this but will rinse my rice and grains from now on! Thank you so much to all who shared how important it is to rinse!
Try pickling spicy green pepper with lemon and salt and keep it in fridge for 2 to 3 days or till is starts turning yellow it's absolutely tasty with salad or rice dishes or sandwiches

I haven't been to your website in a long time. It looks so good. Thanks for print recipe button
It sounds like you may have to make the sauce for burger in a bowl more often, Josh seems to really like it 😊
It's delicious on burgers or as a fry sauce!

So yum!
I always love reading the comments from Becky's recipe videos because there's always great tips and recipe variations being shared. ☺️
your so right I saw that in another video on YT
Always always wash your rice. There are several reasons. Traditionally rice is left overnight in cold water. This to neutralize fytonutrients and make nutrients more available. Same actually goes for grains and legumes. If you forgot to leave your rice overnight. Wash it until is becomes clear. So your rice is a. Washed. B. It wont stick and makes your rice fluffier and not puddinglike.
It actually depends if you want sticky rice or if you want the gains separate. Depends what you're making with the final product.
Ehm no. Even if you want sticky rice you need to wash your rice.
@@justbecauseican1410 it's ok, not everyone is right on this.
If you dont wash your rice. It will stick immediatley while cooking and becomes soggy. If you want sticky rice you cook it just a bit longer in order for it to release the sticky carbs.
