3 silos Morelia neo 3 Beta version has a one piece upper. Non beta version has a traditional tongue. Morelia 2 Old school full leather boot. Alpha Synthetic speed boot. Made in Japan for all 3 silos are the top of the top range using the best of the best materials. They're lighter, and the quality is second to none. But they're also expensive as s***! Elite versions are made in Indonesia I believe, quality is still very good but not as good as the Made in Japan models.

Eurosport finally shipped out the white/silver Morelia dna and they’re much softer out the box than the dark indigo pair. If they release them in a white/gold colorway like the neo 2 then I might cry.

I have been begging for this for ages, and now I am stuck because I bought Neo 3 Betas, and had to go a half size down, and even then, there is a little extra length, the Neo 2s don't have. I wish I could go to a store and try them on, because the one piece upper really doesn't feel great (I have legit wide feet) and I think the u throat construction spread the shoe out enough to accommodate my foot. I guess the only solution is to buy two pairs in two sizes and return one, which is a pain. Again, THANK YOU. You and Jaymike should do a boot nerds episode on these!

Overall, it’s awesome and safer than chevron studs (Adidas X or Puma Ultra), more traction than TF and AG shoes, still has a slight chance of twisting ankles but I’ve never got injuries with Mizuno on AG so far. Just particularly one time I played on an AG field for American football, very dense of grass fiber, it felt very sticky.

I find there with the leather not only do you need grip socks you also need to tie them up super tight to get that lock down for copas. Neo 3s seem to have a solid lock down studs looks a tad long though even if conical

Too many shoes to choose from ...
It doesn't matter what you buy, it's about what's most comfortable to your feet, and affordable to your budget. I for example can't wear vapors, or any ultra thin boot. They're not comfortable to me, no matter how light they might be, I prefer boots that have a little more padding and protection, even if that means more weight. Just my two cents.
Make sure you got the team mundials as tight as possible! They stretch a lot - if you get the right size it’s a very comfortable shoe with an excellent touch. A bit heavy but not that noticeable on foot.
I have caveman feet (4E with flat feet. Wide midfoot and incredibly wide forefoot). I usually have to wear a pair of cleats around the house for a week to decide if they are going to fit correctly. This is the first pair I’ve ever slipped on and immediately known they are the ones.
BEta or the standard one? I have the same type of feet. I tried the Beta version with half a size down. There is a bit of pressure at the midfoot and heel.
So if these boots weigh in at the 200-210g range, the sole is rather on the flexible/soft side and has a traditional non-aggressive stud pattern, why is the Neo 3 considered a speedboot? To me, this looks much more like a competitor to a Tiempo 9 than any other speedboots.
You can use anything on soft ground. How well it will work is dependent on how soft the ground actually is. In general, I don’t think any FG stud pattern will dramatically outperform another on soft ground.
hi I am probably a bit late but can you please tell me how to fix the outsole of the Morelia Neo 3 mij non beta? I've played with them for 6 months and the edges of the outsole is starting to crack or separate from the leather. Someone suggested me to use a lighter to melt the plastic and stick it back in but it seems to be not an effective solution for me. Have you ever encountered any similar issues before? Appreciate for reading all this thanks.

Question Josh, would you say these would stretch at all in terms of sizing? I recently bought a pair Vapors in my size 12 and for some reason they ended up stretching to the point that I don’t like using them anymore. I was thinking of getting these in 11.5 as others say the Neo 3s run a quarter size big, but even if they don’t run big, would the upper stretch at all over time if I got a half size down? (I don’t like any space between my toes and the edge of the boot)
With these (not the betas) I tried a half size down and it was too small. The half-size down width-wise was fine, but my big toe was cramped, would have hurt if I played in the half-size down. Remember boots tend to stretch with width, but not so much length or lengthening the toe box.

All Mizuno boots are your favorites. I am not hating but ever since I watched your vidz, I have never had to guess what you prefer. I would also like to acknowledge that you do talk about the other boots in honesty you do properly review them. But your favorite is clearly Mizuno.
There’s nothing wrong wrong with that. Everyone has their favorites and anyone with football boot knowledge can tell you that Mizuno typically offers the best quality on boots, especially their MIJ range which is generally $30-50 more for that exact reason.

@@LordMifffter yes, again I have had no issues, but they are slightly too long. Also not terrible with the durability but definitely not as strong as an ag boot would be for ag pitches.
Not optimal compared to AG boots but compared to anything else you're going to buy its probably better. Most boots run blades unlike these which are conical and safer.

for me, the lace is better like that because when tied, it barely loosen up compare with made in indonesia.

When I hold these in one hand and a pair of Speedflows in the other, I genuinely cant feel the difference in weight
So if I did go down half a size on the Neo 3 Betas, would you not recommend that with the normal Neo 3s?

Great question! I have no clue? But the non Beta definitely isn’t as long.
They fit the same for me. I always use the soleplate as a guide and it never steers me wrong

Not terrible, still not the safest but I play with them on ag all the time and have had no issues
