So I moved to Japan last year and I can finally understand why Mizuno uses chunky studs, a lot of their sales go to casual football players who play a lot of games on hard ground, the schools here don't have grass fields, they play on compacted dirt. That chunky stud pattern is perfect for HG, AG and the occasional FG surfaces so bladed studs make no sense to them.
I absolutely love these. I can't wait to grab a pair. the insole is also treated with an anti-bacterial agent to keep the boots from gaining smell as easily.
When you spoke about hardcore Mizuno Neo fans may not like the changes in the tongue area...You know that there’s a standard Neo 3 version as well that comes with a standard tongue. Just a FYI.
I liked the neo 2 beta but the tongue was a bit annoying, and personally I like a tight padded fit in the heel, this boot has answered my questions and I’ve bought it!! Most expensive boots I’ve ever bought 😂
Mizuno is not a shoe I would normally buy but I can honestly say that these boots are probably the best boot as far as quality and durability over any other boot. Japan made are always the best!
I wanna know is there a big difference between the Mizuno Morelia neo 3 that made in Japan and the one that doesn't made in Japan? Sorry if my English bad, I'm trying to find the difference 🙏
I recently sold Neo’s to a friend after a few years of owning them. I loved them but I felt they weren’t quite as good my Nikes for fit or comfortable but still a very very good. These upgrades deal with all of my issues. Keen to try a pair.
Interesting that there is no mention of the sole plate details, such as slightly different shape to hopefully address the weak point of the Neo II, or the removal of the front rivets. The weak point of the Neo II was the inside flex point, which would delaminate and eventually tear into the leather. On the Neo III boots I received the change the shape was immediately noticeable.
These sikkk Jinicius, please add the mizuno elites (made in indonesia) into your comparisons and tier lists videos too, like how you would with adidas boots with their xx+ and xx.1 lines
it's kinda interesting that you feel like the Neos suffocate your midfoot because I love the Neos but have that exact issue with my vapors which I know you're a huge fan of. the vapors are more narrow right? does it just come down to shape?
Both fit tight, but the actual base of the Mercurials seems to be wider and the material wrapping your feet is more forgiving/pliable when compared to the synthetic leather of the Neo 2. They're also different in regards to overall shape. I personally feel more comfortable wearing a Vapor 13 Elite than I do a regular Morelia Neo 2.
@@tz3600 That's what I like about em. The right amount of "new" school coupled with a classic look. To me, this are one of the best looking soccer shoes on the market, imho.
Hey Josh, this is a weird situation, but for some reason in Japan we don't have the Neo 3 beta available in stores. Instead, we have a normal model called Neo 3, which is also an improved version of Neo 2. Do you have any idea what's going on. Also will you be reviewing the normal Neo 3.
Mizuno releases different boots regionally. Give it a few weeks and I'm all of the variants will be available everywhere. That's just how they do things. No clue why?
Hi Joş, Can you comment on the difference between old adizero f50 leather and this in terms of feel, touch? Especially i wonder the feeling on the mid foot.
Josh, in Japan, they came out with Neo 3 with regular tongue but not sold anywhere else in the world, but where Neo 3 Beta is sold everywhere in the world but in Japan. On Neo 3, the material for the mid part is different with BF(Bare Foot) Leather which is thinner and softer comparing to the Neo 2. Do you happen to know why? Can you make the comparison video between the two? Thanks.
Mizuno likes to release their boots at different times in different regions. For now, this is what they've released Europe and the US. Will that change in the future, possibly.
Soccer Reviews For You Interesting, I watched an interview video with the Mizuno product leader for football shoes (I’m Japanese) and he said that Mizuno didn’t want to go all knit for Neo 3 but obviously not the case in EU/US market. BTW, I like your shoe laces. I have them on my every boots!
I just recently bought a pair of these exact cleats and I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on the mesh mid foot. I’ve only worn them twice so I can’t say for certain that the cleat just isn’t for me, but the mesh mid foot hurts the outside of my foot when I tie the laces tight. Is this just a matter of breaking them in, or is this just about as good as it’s gonna get ?
Hey Josh. Been watching your channel for some years now. Love what you do man. Also I saw you once when I worked at Burloak's Nike Factory outlet. I wanted to give you props but I didn't wanna be that guy :) Anyway, I usually wear Nikes but I'm looking for a rebrand so I'm thinking to give these ones a go. I currently wear a 12.5 in the Hypervenom Phinish and the fit is perfect (healthily snug). So would you suggest going with a 12 in these ones?
What's the difference between this and the the made in indonesia version? It's called Morelia Neo III Beta ELITE btw. Wondering because it looks exactly the same and much cheaper.
As a low tier version or budget version you recommend the puma king instead of the non-mij version of this boot? Is the non-mij version so bad?? why has there been no comment on that so far in neither of your nor jaymikes videos?
Hey Joshua, Could you tell me please/give me advice on what to do when insole in my nemezis 19.1 is slipping inside the boot and moreover it is sometimes falling out of the boot. Having said that size of this boot is almost perfect and I have no issue with this in other boots. What should I do?
Trying putting some 2-way tape under the insole to help hold it in place. Just make sure the boots and insole are clean and dry so the tape sticks better. Glue would also work, but I would try the tape first.
with my nike mercurial 11 I am size 8.5 us and there is very little left over, so with these boots would I have to go down a full size or only half a size to have a perfect fit? Help!!
And lastly, I know you like Beta 2. I’m curious of your choice, Beta 2 or Beta 3? I love Beta 2. I agree with everything you said about Neo 2 vs Beta 2. It’s why I have 2 pairs of them. What a great brand.
Question ? I wear a size 8 in most shoes such as the Phantom Venom elite and Mercurial Vapor 13 elite and they fit great should i still go down 1/2 size in these boots like Jay From Unisport said ? the neo beta 3’s in a size 7 1/2 instead of the us size 8 ? Thank you !
I doubt they would change the stud pattern or material in any of their cleats. Japan is known for their harsh/hard ground fields. They’re keeping to their heritage.
I think it would be really cool if they implemented some kind of carbon fiber technology on the soleplate like the adidas x speed flow in the future to make the boot even more responsive as a speed boot!
The upper beats the Nike Tiempo! Mizuno could have an alternative stud pattern for this boot, which would be more aggressive. Amazing boots that I hope will be available in Brazil
Wow, your shipping service has really improved lately, they drop it right into your hands now!
lol

Yes! The CLASSIC version
i think Josh was comparing it to Neo 2 Beta

try them one once and you will never want to wear other brands.
What boots do you typically buy?
Man these shoes look dope. And u can even see The high quality on video...
I find it hard to believe the best boot I have ever worn and consider perfect just became perfecter than perfect.
I need these in my life
This might be the nicest looking boot 😯🔥
Josh: i like morelia neo 2 but its not my cup of tea. Toebox too tight.
Mizuno: ight bro got it
These look super clean. Can't wait to get a pair after my current Neo IIs break
Brian Okazaki I’m not sure they will ever break. The build quality is too high
@@LucasDaSilva-rj7zn I guess we will revise that to "until I get bored of them". I do play on turf though, so that could impact it.
Brian Okazaki that’s fair. I also have a pair of Morelia neos and love them to bits. But Yeah playing on turf might have an impact on the durability
Should I put sr4u laces on my laceless boot
Is the sky blue?
When is the classic tongue Morelia Neo 3 review coming? Thanks bud

It's a small thing but I think Mizuno should put a little bit of effort into the string bags
Yay my Neo Moreila came today. All black. Looking and feeling great and thanks to this review I was able to choose the right size 🤙🏽

So glad they haven't changed to a bladed pattern... would be far too mainstream for a classy brand like mizuno
Could you review the normal Mizuno Morelia Neo 3
Hey Josh love the videos. What do you think is the best phantom venom colorway?

Which ones do you prefer? The morelia’s or rebula’s?
Josh, are you going to reviews smaller brand boots like concave, asics, kelme or any others?

They're safe for use on artificial grass.

Welcome to the Mizuno club! There is no going back. I want them too but not selling those in Europe :(
These might just be the boots I always wished for.
They removed the rivets in the sole too. Or it is hided inside?
Hi José, will these be good for narrow and low volume feet? And would you recommend these over the mercurial line?

Please put legend in Brazilian Portuguese in your videos! I'm Brazilian fan, congratulations for your work.
Since their conical in shape, how are the studs on artificial grass? Any stud pressure as well?
They're OK on AG. I've never had any issues with stud pressure, although that's something that some are more sensitive to than others.
what are those black and gold boots in the background
I ordered my first sr4u laces for these boots!!! 😁👍✌
I’m looking to break into mizuno boots I have the mercurials and then new predators would this or the rebula make more sense for me
Is Vapor your current favourite boot? Neo 3 or Neo 3 beta is certainly closer to it than Rebula (albeit still very different)
Great review. Great shoe.
what's the difference between the japan and then normal version?
can you do a video on good footballs for every price range?
Hey Josh! Can these be used on AG. Since they have round studs?
Leather tends to wear down quick on AG - personally I wear Turf astros on AG :)
I train on ag sometimes twice a week mostly once a week tho but play on natural grass, which sole plate should get on my next boots?
Nike's AG-Pro stud pattern would be a solid option.
