  • Join me (Mike - Physiotherapist) in this 25-minute workout for seniors which works your whole body.
    There is a quick break halfway through this video. If you need to have a break, pause the video before you get back into it. As you continue with these workouts, you will be feeling less of a need for a break.
    Make sure you do the warm-up before beginning.
    Seated Warm-Up: • Simple Seated Warm-Up ...
    COMPLETE SEATED BODY WORKOUT FOR SENIORS (25 Mins)
    Upright rows x 12
    Seated One Arm Row - x 12 Each Arms
    Toe Raises into Heel Raises - x 12
    Knee extensions with slow tempo and holds x 8
    Shoulder Rolls
    Knee extensions 3 x 5 seconds, 2x 3-second holds, 1x 7 seconds, 1x 4 seconds
    High knee Marching - 30 seconds
    Knee flexions x 10 each leg
    Opposite arm opposite leg lifts
    Reaction time work
    Same side arm and leg lifts - 60 seconds
    Break
    Upright Rows x 12
    Seated One Arm Row - x 12 Each Arms
    Heel Raises - x 12
    Toe Raises - x 12
    Knee extensions 4-second holds
    Double knee extensions x 12
    Double knee flexions x 12
    Reaction Time
    Bicep Curls x 12
    Shrugs into bicep curl into press x 5

    Mike I am going to make you laugh , today my hubby had an eye appt and I usually go with him as sometimes gets his eyes dialated, so because our eye Dr is still following Covid safety, and only the assigned patient is allowed to go in and all others stay outside, today I knew his appt was at least an hour I did this 25 min sit down exercise outside where there were park benches all over for people to sit, Here in Florida it’s hot but has a lot of shady treed areas to relax while waiting for your loved one. I turned on the volume on my I pad and made so many friends while waiting , it was so much fun And was asked what am I doing , I replied I’m doing a more life health with Mike workout for seniors, then one lady said you can not possibly be a senior , I said oh yes I am will be 73 on Sunday, they wrote down the website name. It felt good to not just sit and said but actually exercise my legs, arms and knees .

    I am so pleased I have found this, it is just like the Stting Pilates I used to do. Now when all the groups are cancelled, it is just what I need. Will have to pass this on to other people. THANK You.

    I’m not a senior but I am overweight and struggle to do workouts . This was great for me and I was able to do each workout and keep up which was a great motivator. Thank you ☺️

    Mike! when I started doing your exercise videos, I was unable to run up a flight of stairs. I could only get about half-way when I had to start plodding. Last week I ran up the stairs after a child, and made it all the way to the top! Thank you.

    Thank you , Thank you , This was a great workout for my grandmother. It got the whole family doing it. We had smiles and a good feeling at the end of it. We found the number and arm part to be tricky but we had good fun trying to do it. My grandmother suggested that if you slow down the counting a little more she may be able to keep up. We will definitely watch this again. Looking forward to more.

    It´s been over a year that I have been exercising with Mike. I've been mixing all type of exercises as I workout everyday. Today´s workout was a first one! and I really enjoyed it, although "reaction exercises"

    Wonderful full body & cardio workout. My Husband has Parkinson’s & is in 3/4 which is not good his mind & body don’t work well at times, but we’re working with you everyday & he’s moving & that’s great!

    I try for one hour exercise each morning, starting with breathing exercises. (You don’t have them?). Found this one today. Thank you. I can do them all, although the balance exercise was a challenge. Again thank you.

    Just discovered this .I had neck surgery about 2 yrs ago hit a plateau. I did PT for a year but didn't progress much . I am going to try this workout and hope it helps with strength and movement. I need something to follow along with to keep up a daily workout. The list on paper just wasn't working for me.3-27 one month , only missed 3 days,seeing very tiny bits of improvement . Not something anyone else would notice but I do.

    This came at the right time..I ordered a stationary bike but it has been delayed(twice) When I do get my bike I will do these everyday along with it.
