Thank you, Mike! I do your neck and upper body exercises 2x per day every day . They are so helpful for me! I can trust you not to do any exercises to put my neck and back at risk as some of the videos I’ve tried , Thanks again, Helen
You're very welcome! I'm so glad the video is helping with your neck pain. Doing it every morning sounds like a great routine! Keep up the great work, and I hope it continues to bring you relief.
these neck exercises have been so helpful for me. I now have less pain in my neck and can turn my head more than I have been able to for a long time. I have arthritis in my neck that had it almost non moving. Thank you so much for these. I have added them to your whole body chair exercises and I have not felt this good in a very long time. Thank You!!!!
Thank you! I had my neck get locked up on left-side, tried different exercises and self-adjustment techniques, and it loosened up but it was re-tightening on left-side. So I followed your routine and it really helped, especially the 20-second holds when turning head to far left and right. Was already doing the other stretches, so now added in the left/right hold and that has made all the difference, left-side is not re-tightening, will continue to do several times a day. I was using a folded pillowcase to stretch head to far left/right while laying on bed, but there is something about doing that stretch using just the neck muscles and holding for 20-seconds that solved the problem.
I'm really happy to hear that the routine helped! The 20-second holds can make a big difference, and it’s great that it’s working for you. Keep at it, and I hope your neck keeps feeling better!
My senior online exercise group has been doing this workout every Friday for 3 years. Thank you so much, Mike, for helping us get through the pandemic!
This is another one of your routines which I liked but didn't comment. It's one that works whenever my trapezius hurts given I have an arthritic cervical spine. Any amount of extended looking down causes this problem, and almost always this exercise relieves my discomfort. A belated thank you!...Anastasia
That is great Anastasia - thank you very much for your feedback, it helps me to know that I am on the right track. I am glad you enjoyed this one and benefit from it.
Thank you. I have just discovered you and your really helpful gentle exercises. I am 75 and not very mobile at the moment due to a bad back which I have not pulled or injured , it is just old age, so these exercises are just right for me. It will get me back walking again.
Hi Mike. I don't have problems with my neck and can complete all the movements. I do this because, at my age, it's important that my neck and shoulders also remain flexible. Thanks for another great video.
Love this workout. I have a lot of problems with my neck and the trapizuis. Forward head posture. Try to work out daily. Great to hae your exercises. Enjoying every workout.
after having a nagging stiff / sore neck for several months ... especially when driving .... Mike's routine has been an enormous help. From the first time I followed I noticed the difference ... a different kind of soreness ..... it felt relieving?? and now, almost 3 weeks since then and watching Mike's video every second or third day my "top end" feels invigorated.
Hello! Think I've done maybe 5 or more of your excellent video's! You are easy to follow along. Even getting the breathing part down good! Big thanks! Diane in Canada (arthritis and sciatia sufferer)
Thank you! I have become stiff and sore after immobility due to injury - and then paralysed by the psychological side-effects, perhaps worse. I’m inspired by all the comments here from people older and/or with more serious conditions than me. Appreciate the many choices - reminds me that it’s always possible to do *something* 🌷🙏🦋
I'm not sure if you said that people with cervical spine problems should not do the backward tilted head neck stretch, especially seniors. Sideways and forward only. Great video. Thanks
I feel so much better, have more energy doing these stretches and exercises for seniors. Thank you Mike. It would be much easier though if you would consider putting all the stretches on one video and the exercises in another rather than us having to look through all the different ones, then we will know we’ve done what we need to every day. 🙏👍☀️
Our family recently traveled 2800 miles to visit. It has been 2 1/2 years since we have seen them. Their first comment? My goodness, you have changed: you look so good. Next day, our 45-year-old daughter-in-law asked to do exercises with me - specifically this neck exercise. She is a vibrant person, but this exercise was tough for her = she has minimal flexibility. BUT she felt better afterward. My point, Mike? These systematic exercises are not just for 'Seniors'... (She loved that you were not bouncing up & down to loud music.)
I have been looking for strengthening exercises for my body, I came across your website and like how you teach and do them along with us. I have the bands also if I need them. Thank you.
These are great for my stiff neck, Mike, thank you. Also very much enjoy the exercise routines, but as someone else comments it usually involves searching through a lot to find the right ones - any chance of a programme we could follow? Will keep on putting it in! Cheers.
When you find an exercise you like if you press on the 3dots at the right under the video you can save it. I made a folder and called it exercises then when I logon to youtube I click on the 3 lines at top left and can open the folder with all my favorite exercises in.
Hi Mike. I find that one side of my neck is weaker than the other but with careful repetition I believe it'll balance out. Thank you so much for these exercises. : )

I should correct myself: she has flexibility but carries tension in certain muscles.
Warm up seniors
Thanks❤🇮🇶
