Nice 👍 loving the honest review man, I agree with you 100% I had a slight fitment issue with my drivers side light but thankfully no water, I try my best not to wet the lights as much as possible (weird I know but I just hate condensation!). And these lights are aimed way too high! The brightness wouldn’t be an issue if morimoto would just had made the lights a little bit lower. I finally got around to adjusting my lights 3 full turns clockwise and it’s a little better but still would like to lower it a bit more. At the end of the day tho, these lights were worth the money. It gives the Z a more modern and aggressive look while still looking oem!

The light cut off it’s really really high I’m surprised people don’t complain driving the opposite way from you cause it would blind them I wonder if you can regulate them

UPDATE: I finally got the XB Headlights installed last month! I love them! Bright as hell, and the embedded DRL stripe is pretty sick! I have a couple pics on my IG is: twizzle_vee Also, favorite Wing Flavor is Mumbo Sauce! Hahaha, it's a DC thing!
you need to aim them down. Light output will be much better. Go to a flat parking spot where you have a wall to aim your headlights. Measure height of the higher beam from the ground and then aim them to drop good 2 inch @ 50ft distance.. from there you can do some adjustment to your likings but this should give you good result and much more light output

You need to aim them correctly, that’s your issue. Aimed way too high out of the box. The cutoff was practically in the trees when you had the night shots. There are two adjusters.
Personally I think the factory 2018's+ blacked out housing looks better. & $1,200 is way too much imo. That money could go towards real mods. Nice Z tho fam!
U should protect them with xpel film. I suggest the thick not the thin film. I run them on all my cars. Had them for 16 years on my Volvo s60r and never an issue. Pineapple bacon ice cream
I got mine 2 weeks ago aswell! I love these morimoto XB Led's on my Z. Looks really stunning on my black nismo. But if i had to pick a nismo either have to be silver or pearl white. Magnetic black is just hard to keep clean. But awesome video brother! And keep up the great channel 👍 Im suprise i got no fitment issues on mine. But might want to check the hood to make sure its closed properly. Sometimes you need to press down on the gap to close. But again i might be wrong. Anyways awesome review! ⛩

It looks like your hood is out of alignment. Either that or the one light does not allow the hood to close properly. That line across the front of the bumper should have the same gap all the way across. But the passenger side of the hood seems to sit higher. Maybe something needs to be shaved down on the housing.

I agree with overly bright. I love the headlights as well, definite head turners. Although even after proper adjustments, the projector beams still shoot real high and freeway signs are excessively illuminated. It's written on the backs no more than 3 turns per side as well as another video on here stating they will fail if over adjusted. I've hit the max already at 3 turns trying to lower the beams but there's no acceptable difference, they still shoot sky high without exaggeration. I was hoping for a sharp projector beam cutoff post adjusting, but they just literally spray/ illuminate signs and any road reflectros annoyingly. 2013 sport on stock height, i don't want to add aftermarket suspension just to reduce oncoming glare. I'm waiting to see what content people post regarding adjustments and or hardware failing due to over adjusting?. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. I'm only keeping them on because visually it's a massive improvement over stock. Anyway, nice car👍
