- Over the past year, I have done a lot of cheap & easy mods to my car and just wanted to share them all with you guys. In this video, I go over about 15 mods that are all under $100 and you can do to your car pretty easily. The total for all the mods brand new comes out to $595 which is awesome. Just so everyone is aware, the aluminum tow hook at 3:21 is just for show. I have the same one and would never actually tow with it, it just looks cool. I like most of these little mods, but would title the video "cosmetic mods under $100". Cool vid none the less, I'm gonna go out and find me that 4th brake light!
Oh! I did see one thing that bugged me so much I had to look again and edit this comment... the license plate lights at 3:05. You can see the wire running to it, and that fucking ruins it for me.
False. The tow hook on 350 & 370z's thread into the crash bar, and are factory tow points. You are given a gray hook from factory, where the jack is so you can thread it in when you wish. Companies make aftermarket options such as these ones which are functional IF they thread into the OEM hole. If they just stick on like cheap fake ones, they dont work. But on Z's / G's they are functional from the factory.

Just got my used 2020 370Z and want to add window scoop louver rain sun guard shade & quarter window louvers. i believe they are held down using 3M tape & not good to use car washes??

I work at Wrap my Ride in CenCal and can tell you all... STOP BUYING 3m, its dogshit film. I get it, it's a big brand name but it's complete ass. Avery is a nice thin film that's easier for beginners to work with but damages easy. TeckWrap has one of the best gloss carbon fiber prints btw and is great to work with and even comes with protective clear cover for installs. Vivid is difficult install and very thick but is still a better choice than 3m.

I was expecting more... quality, I guess? This is basically just how to rice out your car for cheap. NISMO knob, brighter LEDs and 4th brake light not so much. but FAKE carbon roof wrap and mirror covers? also the 370 has a tow point on the rear frame on the driver side. I bought a used bucket seat for $120 including delivery and a 5 point harness for another $100. oversized aluminum pedal covers for $35 and weighted shift knob with the actual shift pattern for $25. Build yourself a catch can set up for $63 on the just over $100 you can get a cold air intake system for $125. you can tint your own windows for less than $100.
