You have to unplug one of the connectors to get the sequential turn signal function.
Taco Sport10 Thank you. You are correct. 52 seconds into the video, there is a harness with a pink wire and orange wire. Simply unplug it and the sequential turn signals will engage. Thank you for the call out!

My headlights didn't come with a relay its just the fuse plug on the end. Did you buy the relay and splice it on or did yours come with the relay box attached?
dominic96768 these headlights came with everything needed. I would reach out to your vendor that you purchased them from for the missing piece.
This headlight can be mounted on the EU version? It seems the connector are different?
I got some right hand drive units through Torqen in the UK. They have a step by step install video.

Can u put Oracle lights in them or do they already have them installed in them already if not that's cool
Oracle lights? Like halos or demon eyes? No they do not come with those installed. Can you add them? I’m sure that you can, but why mess with perfection?
It it a sequential turn signal, at least it is on my car.
Just purchased these from the site. When installing how do I hook it up to the battery? Do I just attach it to the negative terminal or both? Bit confused there. Great video!
Eli Sostre thank you! both the negative and positive leads on the relay need to be hooked up to the battery.
@@hidexpresslighting5965 I hooked the relay to the positive terminal with bot sides touching and have 2 problems - My bumper DRLs one isn't working now & the DRLs in the headlights stay on no matter what. Locked the car an hour ago and they are still on.
Eli Sostre damn. I would try disconnecting the battery. If you were in Dallas or Miami, I would be better able to assist.
What fuse did you connect the DRL hardness/relay to get the DRLs to come on when the car is turned on? I tried several fuses that only would power on with acc or the car on feature and the DRLs stay on constant. I cannot figure out what fuse location to use?? The instructions do not specify. Thanks for the video!
Jennifer Leigh the harness for the drls only needs to be hooked up to the battery. No fuse connection necessary.
I just got mine installed and do you notice it shines to high even though is adjusted all the way down?
Tom Tan they do shine a bit high, however I managed to adjust them at the same level as my SUV that came equipped with factory xenons. With that adjustment, they were fine.

Installed these today exactly like this... everything works but now the DRL stays on, even if the car is shut off.
I would triple check your power source.

Including bumper removal, you would be looking at $100

I was one of the 1st people to buy these headlights. That being said after a few months of ownership they’re already getting water marks inside the lens 🤦♂️ I like the style of the headlights but the longevity of the headlight concerns worries me and concerns me
Thank you for your feedback. The customer that we installed these on has had zero issues and it’s been over a year. Have you contacted Morimoto? Maybe a bad batch?
@@hidexpresslighting5965 I just don’t see this being an installation issue. I literally don’t know what else I could’ve done to prevent this problem from happening on my end. Moist seems to be seeping into the headlight. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Morinoto and informing them about the problem. Aside from that I love the headlights

What’s the DRL function? What does it do?
DRL stands for Day Running Lights. That bright strip on the inner portion of the headlight housing (where the turn signal is) is your DRL. It shares with the Turn signal. If you notice on Z's from '13-present they have the DRL's on the front bumper vertically. On the NISMO's they are horizontal.
Morimoto has long hold times and poor customer service if anything goes wrong the techs do not take phone calls and force you to email. My LEDs burnt out under warranty and although the headlights look badass morimoto has poor customer service and goes back and forth for weeks before doing anything
Sorry to hear about your issue. Did you buy them directly from Morimoto or through and authorized retailer? If the latter, why not contact the retailer?

Well I guess people just need to be different. I really like the stock light for its performance.
