Those floor mats!!! and that cup holder! Dang nammit!, probably will try that floor mat fix in the future.

my top 5.
water drips into the boot when i open the boot lid even after its stopped raining.
no physical button on the boot itself to open it. have to get the keys out or go and use the button in the drivers door.
the uneven depth of the cup holders.
I have a 57, so the audi obsession with red lighting on the dash.
the bonnet release handle feels like it will break every time I pull it.

Chris, Regarding the glovebox. Remove the side panel and spray silicon spray over the slow release mechanism, open and close a few times and it should work a treat. I had the same on my previous mk2 TT.
Did the same on mine! I used some wd-40 but I would recommend the silicon spray or some form of lubrificant. WD-40 was to much of a liquid so in the first closes and openings I heard some weird squicky sounds, after 3 days it was ok. Now I have to be careful because it opens to fast and it can break xD
Great hack with the mats. My wing mirrors don't fold in,aint good on a main road,as busses and lorries etc pass through. Know what you mean about the cup holders,bonkers. My glove box isn't slow like that.
The mat fix was clever! I have nighteye LED for dipped beam and fogs. Cheapo LED for sidelights. I change them out for MOT, but its super easy to remove the headlight unit 😊
do you find the led is much brighter or did you do it for looks ?
Jeff what nighteye LED bulbs are they for the fog lights and are they easy to swap I’ve never had a look to be honest
Definitely brighter but not like HID, which are super bright.

Definitely get some BI-Xenons and never had that with the glove box lol but yes I totally understand the cup holders it’s a idiotic place to have them and also the high difference is actually so random and never had a problem with the mats I thought they are great in mine

My glove compartment fine, I don't use the cup holders, I fitted lED side lights in for day time running. Mats, the complete plastic insert keeps coming out. Both parcel shelfs are broke but still work. My HATE, I put an Xtrons unit in but how can I boost the aerial for a stronger signal?
The glove box slow piston is an easy fix.... Strip and regrease.... You could add the bonnet catch backing. Every single one I've seen the bonnet catch is broken.
Think I knacked my glovebox trying to open it quicker than it wanted to. The cup holders are a nightmare cups and bottles get in the way when putting on the handbrake. Think you should defo get a tinted front plate to set the front end off, mines got the gloss black grille and tinted plate it’s a nice touch

You want the Zenon head lights in mine mate 👍 The difference is night and day 👍
Ace tip with the mats, I'll do that in the morning 👍 Those useless cup holders though 😂 if you have a maccys coffee in them and put the handbrake on it pops the lid off and lubricates the interior with latte 😳😳 bloody Germans. Mine has alcantara seats too and they are a nightmare to clean, my MK1 had lovely quality leather which was much better. My glove box opens and closes fine though, I've no idea what's going on with yours 😂😂😂. One thing I really love though is the digital Speedo in the middle of the clocks which is a good job because the Speedo and the rev counter are the wrong way round and I always look at the rev counter for speed otherwise 😂😂👍👍

How big is it? I'm a 6"6 280 lb guy so everything is a question of fitting for me. Rn my current daily is a 06 CLK350 cabriolet. Do you know if the interior is comparable?
Not sure mate should be fine best thing is to go have a look at one and test it out .there is quite a bit of adjustment in the seats 👍🏻

i use Phillips light bulbs and they are ok for me
I might try them next before winter comes and it starts getting dark early cheers mate 👍

Xenons are significantly better - and i dont have the same glovebox issue because its completely broken at the side so i just keep it locked permanently
Something's wrong with your glove box, mine opens normally.

Cheers bro ,all the things that I mentioned are the same on all audi TT mk2 except the headlights which you can have the upgraded xenon from factory the Other things are things that I need to repair
