Great job, Chris. Car's looking great. I personally still prefer the classy look of the original spoiler, how it works and how I can still put it up whenever I want to. But I think it went really well with your red one now with the other glossy black trims. I'm into machine polishing and stuff. When are you getting the car polished? It will look amazing once the paintwork is done.

@@choco33333333 it was £300 for the fixed wing and fitting kit then you need to get it painted. Hope this helps

Well done Chris. Now you need to get your speedlines diamond cut with gloss black painted behind the spokes to match your gloss black spoiler.

really interesting video Chris, I've just installed a Warhead fixed spoiler to the missus TTS (2015) and have been looking to delete the electric spoiler, do you know if this can be done on the OBDeleven standard unit or does it have to be the Pro????
hi mate a 2015 tt is a mk3 not a mk2 i have done a vid on coding out this spoiler as well 👍using obdeleven and doing it in control unit and long coding
Hey Chris, I know it’s been a while since you’ve done this but when you ordered the spoiler did it come with top and the bottom? Or did you have to order that too? If so, what was the part number for the bottom part?
Hi mate it came with the top and bottom you just need to order the fitting kit aswell part numbers in the description 👍🏻
Is there a certain OBDeleven I need to buy bud as I'm drawing a dead end to getting the rear spoiler deactivated, any help would be appreciated
I have the obdeleven with pro license and to deactivate the spoiler is 10 credits

where can I order this spoiler from, ivexseen some that don't really fit good and won't clip into place but this one seems to have good fitment
This is a genuine audi spoiler from audi part number is in the description
Hi Chris, I was doing some research and noticed that there is also the adhesive with part number 00A071785 for the spoiler instead. Is the correct adhesive to use for this spoiler 00A071785 or D172200A2?
The latest part number when I ordered mine was D172200A2 the old adhesive was a 2 part now its just 1 part hope this helps

Hi mate the wing is from audi you can also get it from the tt shop part number is in the description on the video.the front grill is from xenonz-uk there is a link to it in the description on the fitting grill video.👍

Hi Chris, is there a possibility that if the fixed spoiler is installed correctly with the wires all properly connected, there will be no error code and no coding is required? Right now after install, I don't have any dashboard error, and the spoiler button below the gear lever is permanently lighted up (its usually lighted up only when the retractable spoiler is raised). It seems to "know" that the new spoiler is permanently "raised" as such.
Hi mate I thought this when I first installed mine I had no warning which I thought was strange but after driving home and being on the motorway the warning came light came up, i think you might need to hit the speed that the standard spoiler will raise.hope this help
@@CarChris82 When you first installed your spoiler, was the light on the spoiler button (below the gear lever) lit up permanently?
Over here the speed that causes the standard spoiler to raise (120kph) is far above the highest speed limit in the country (90kph) lol.
@@Deathwisher85 i remember that when I pressed the button it lit up,and when I was driving I was pressing the button on and off and the warning came up.also since coding out the spoiler when I have my headlights on the button lights up and goes off when lights are turned off
@@CarChris82 Mine was lit up as soon as I started the car after installation (its usually off as the spoiler is always retracted). I think the loop/circuit under the spoiler may be doing its thing. We could have connected the wires under the spoiler differently. I'll let you know how it goes

I’ve fitted a IKon carbon spoiler from eBay and it was a pain to install. It doesn’t sit right and the oem wing still goes up at high speeds.
I was looking at ebay spoilers but heard the fitting isn't great thats why I went for a proper Audi one 👍
I’ve also got an ikon one from eBay but haven’t installed yet, any tips on how to do it? It looks like it sits pretty well on the oem wing when I put it on top

I'm definitely more cool 🤣😂it depends what you want from a car my mk2 is fwd and handles better than my mk1 quattro but the quattro won't spin up if you floor it from a stand still
