I’ve just bought a tt myself, I agree about the glovebox (mine’s broken) and the mats, the rest doesn’t bother me that much. It’s a really lovely car overall.
Yes it's an awesome car. You don't really notice anything when using it except the floor mats those really get on my nerves🧐
I felt the same, but bought a pair of tux mats, dual cup holder expanders, and carbon fiber wrapped the center console. Now it feels and looks great.

Change to all weather mats. The glove compartment isn't an issue. You have storage under your seats. The cup holders and trunk release being only on the door and key is what it is. As for the area around the shifter, that will vary. Mine stays clean.

I think theses things are really minor issues according to the other qualities of this car 🙂
Btw , about glovebox, carpets , and aluminium parts , I didnt personally noticed theses problems on my TT .

Missed the biggest flaw. Ever tried to sit in the back seat? It does not fit adults.
Well it is a 2+2 that usually means back seats are merely decoration haha.
I thought it was only me that had some of these issues, the carpet drives me mad as i have to adjust it all time, i need to repair the glovebox hinge as it has broken, & now my blower motor has seized, i found out that this is a common problem when your comes up for ten years old, i still love my convertible & will get these things fixed 😊
I got everything fixed now and since I made the video more issues apperead also had them fixed.

Lahko kupiš aftermarket podloge za tla, so lepše in boljše, pa ta glove box se da popravit sm se fedrcek zamenja ali malo wd 40. Planiram kupit tt-ja tudi belega upam da bo ubogal :)
Mah niso mi všeč aftermarket jih mam pa sem jih ven zmetal. Predala ne uporablam tolko tak da to ni panike.
Glovebox issue can be easily fixed by lubricating the cylinder of damper. Typical audi problem and I do not understand why VW car does not have the issue with the same mechanism.
Well I rarely open it so it doesnt really bother me that much, but I'm still going to fix it.
The bonnet release handle snaps easily, plastic spindle bad design considering its Audi.

Lol...brah just nit picking ...the phone should be in a holder or on your person incase of an accident..its close by and not flying around your cabin...never seen anyone put it in the map holder.
The glovebox..I agree..should come down faster..the squeaking you can put some white grease on the hinges.
Use full all weather mats...carpet problem solved and it keeps your carpets clean.
All interiors get dirty...humans have greasy dirty hands ..lol.
At 250kmph on the Autobahn..your hands should at 10 and 2...lol..not worrying about your

Hi mate thanks and giving your opinion! I like the original floormats so I just clean these more often and pop them back in everytime. There are plans of fixing these things in a series🧐 I like my pockets empty when I drive that's why I keep my phobe in the door compartment. Thank you for watching I appreciate that!
Been looking to buy a TT soon so have been watching a bunch of vids on them.
These seem to be the most common faults i've seen too but honestly so minor they are not worth worrying about.
Once you floor the accelerator you forget about all the little problems anyway

Is this a reliable car because i heard alot people saying is alot of problem for engine and gearbox?
Hi mate yes so far mine is on 185k kms and its going strong it goes through quite some oil which is normal for these engines (same as mk5 gti) cause by piston rings. I've had it since december last year and no problems so far other than adding oil every 3k kms if pushed hard otherwise it doesnt drink anything. The dsg gearbox has its problems but mine is a manual so I wouldnt know. I hope this helped you decide. I am more than happy with the car. Thank you for watching!

The mk1 and 3 has most of the bad problems the mk2 is actually quite reliable if you just take care of it. People get sports cars and drive them for thousands of miles with no maintenance done on them and call it unreliable when they get problems.
I think the mk3 were also reliable no?

🤔Dude is this a joke? you bring up very stupid things every car has its flaws. I think an Audi TT is a futere car that you can only find in its kind.
Its shape alone is ahead of its time, which leaves many car appearance far behind this time.
Of course every car has them and these are not that bad at all I collected them and put them in a video. This video shows that this is a great car!
