The funny thing is that he is defending the remaster of a remaster, saying it is not the same because of the graphics and gameplay updates. But The Witcher 3 gave everyone all of that in a free update.
While this is true, it's not a completely fair comparison, but to charge $70.00 is an absolute p!sstake.

Don’t understand why theses type of people, don’t want anyone else to play a game that was exclusive.
Because if the games are not exclusive, that cannot justify their purchase of the console. And because exclusives are made to be seen as "that unique aspect of X console that no one else has". They lose their sense of feeling unique.
@@bigshrekhorner It’s sad really, considering that without exclusives the console manufacturers would have to differentiate themselves by providing better products. These guys don’t realize that the very thing they’re upset about could make their purchase more worthwhile.
I really have a hard time grasping why some people are so invested in games remaining exclusive to their platform of choice. Is it just bragging rights, or maybe a weird opposite of FOMO where you feel superior to others because you got to play a game that they didn't? (FOONMO - Fear Of Others Not MIssing Out?)
It is bragging rights and also some insecure neckbeards trying to feel superior because they got to play a game others didn't.
It’s definitely bragging rights. They love PlayStation exclusives and will use them as reason PS is better than other gaming options. But if you can then get those “exclusives” on a different platform it means the PS is less special. It’s no longer better than another thing. And since being a PS owner is part of their identify it means they are no longer better than those people who don’t own a PS.
Sony has devalued owning a PS and thus devalued him.
The only reason is that they don't want to feel like they bought a console that is basically dead weight when they would have bought a PC to begin with if they knew the exclusives would come to PC. That is the only actual valid reason someone might be mad at exclusives going to PC because they were probably expressively told they wouldn't: Horizon Zero Dawn - a game that actually moved units - is a great example. There is a non-trivial number of PC gamers that probably did get a PS4 just to play that game, and in hindsight, would have rather got it for their PC and saved the money they spent on the console.
Going forward though, as Sony acknowledges they are moving their games to PC, I feel like the reason to get invested in this is shrinking by the minute. But I still feel sympathy for those that are angry this happened the first few times, assuming they also have a gaming PC and felt duped into buying the PS4. It is pretty scummy for Sony say, "Buy our 400 dollars PS4 to play our exclusives if you have a PC" and then go on to put those same games on PC anyway.

That would be fucking awesome. However, also unnecessary since all Nintendo games already come to PC and for free.
Yeah, i'm not sure what's supposed to be wrong with Nintendo releasing their games on PC.

These people use a different & skewed definition of the word "brand". They say "brand" but that's the wrong word - I think they mean "vibe" or "idea". Their issue is that they've romanticized PlayStation in their head so baddy, that it's different from the PlayStation in reality. It's like Red Santa Clause and Saint Nick, one is romanticized so much, that they are basically two separate people. and ones fake. So when they use the word "brand" they are referring to their fake romanticized "sports-team-like" vision, not THE reality which is a business who's only goal is to make money.
I'm genuinely wondering if Spider-Man 2 comes out 6 months after and the amount of outrage sony ponies will have.
(Ik its not going to since spiderman is legit the biggest super hero character ever and is gonna make sony shit tons of money)
I believe Sony made an announcement about day and day from what I've heard from a few other TH-camrs, I may be wrong but being someone transitioning to PC that would be solid AF not gonna lie
At this point you could probably emulate the last of Us part 1 for PS3 and upscale it to a higher resolution and you won't be missing out on much
Hell, the original version is better than the PS5 remake too, so you'll get a better version by doing this too lol
the ps3 emulator isnt really good enough right now. FPS seems to be around 30 even on the best systems.
@@TheBorkka it's getting there though most of the games I've tried have worked fairly well just a few graphical issues, though my version of games tried is only a select handful. Results may vary. Still impressive nonetheless

I don’t understand why these people are throwing a fit about PS exclusive games releasing on other platforms. As a Last of Us fan, I’m happy other people get to experience this game and also that I get to play it on PC with better graphics and performance.
I don't understand why these people are so mad that more people get to play the game? Isn't that a good thing?

With all the PC ports Sony and third parties have been making lately, Steam Deck basically _is_ the PS Vita 2. As a Deck owner I can confirm that all of Sony's exclusives run great on the Deck at at least 30fps (it's a handheld, not a miracle product), Spider-Man is a full 60fps (on low settings but fps > fidelity imo). Stuff like Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Death Stranding, and Persona 5 Royal (Persona 3 and 4 too) are also Deck Verified and run great.
Steam Deck basically gave Sony's PC ports another huge selling point, these games are portable now and all Sony has to do is make sure their games work with Valve's Proton compatibility layer (which is very easy to do) and that's pretty much it.
And considering Sony had trouble with both the PSP and PS Vita (PSP having a huge piracy issue and Vita just not selling well), I wouldn't blame them for seeing this as their opportunity to just declare Steam Deck a spiritual successor and let Valve handle the nitty-gritty of maintaining the platform. All they gotta do is sit back and wait for the money to flow in.
Yeah I wish Microsoft would make more of their games work like Sony is with steamdeck like master chief collection, gears of war, etc. Btw everyone saints row 2 is now in the playable section I'm PUMPED to play it portably, Saints row one and two are both part of my top 10 7th gen games

I think it’s a pretty good remaster. I played it on my ps5 because I was too impatient to wait for PC. Not worth $60 though. Wait for a sale. I’d say $40 is fair.
well, The Last Of Us Part I uses a tad bit upgraded version of the Part II engine, which also derives from the Ucharted 4 engine, which has been already ported to pc. Part I for me won't just be a grat storyline expierence like no other, but also a test to if i can play Part II when it comes out on pc one day lol. I count on you, rtx 3050ti

Why, WHY, WHY is it always the PS Fanboys who admit that PlayStation is nothing without artificial locks? Like, there's nothing about the PlayStation Brand that keeps you there unless you're forced to. That isn't the W you guys think it is. If Exclusive games are the only thing that make a platform good, then it's a horrible platform. Without exclusives, you can make an argument for the Switch since it's a portable console which can dock to a TV. It's a feature of the Switch platform to be able to take it wherever you want. Yes, the Steam Deck is better, miles ahead of the Switch, but there's still a reason to buy a Switch, it is smaller, lighter, and at the moment, the "legal" way to buy and play Nintendo games. Take away exclusivity, and now you have a piece of hardware that is lighter, battery lasts longer, and now has an OLED display, which is better than the LCD in the Deck. These are platform advantages, and while performance is king, the Switch still has a purpose.
So if PS Exclusives going to PC "devalues the brand", then that brand has no value

I know this video is old but when he said pc owned ny their main competitor Microsoft i laughed.
No pc is not owned by microsoft, windows operating system is owned by Microsoft. Steam is owned by valve. Just so happens a large portion of pc gamers use the windows operating system.
I didn't play lou when it originally launched and i never plan to. After a game is out a few months and i didn't get it then I have zero interest in it. Which is really 98% of every game ever
funny thing is. i don't really see any rant or hyping up as opposed as pony crying about the pc port from the pc gaming community.

Yeah, he feels pride that a Sony console does well because he chose PS. Not PC or Xbox. He needs the exclusives to stay on PS because those exclusives justify buying a PS. And he’s likely beyond a fan. Choosing to buy PlayStation consoles is not what he’s done, it’s a huge part of who he is. And I’d bet he held PS exclusives over the heads of PC players without a PS and now he can’t.
It’s tragic.
A bit of a different take for Sony fanboys imagine Sony looking at what pc features are popular what fans want for games in the modding scene and actually use that information to improve the ps5 to develop the ps6 and help develop ps studios games I’m pc I don’t care but all the data is available to them

My understanding is it naughty dog and sony were heavily involved and kept it completely to the game. I haven't watched it yet but people that have said it's true. Funny enough my dad seen it and came over to my house and was playing the game and a cut scene came on and he like I seen this. I said this is the game the show is based off of.
Sony makes its money on software so im a terrible owner to them. Since I get a game every 2 years, im even worse on steam
I love Nintendo games, like Playstation games but it's pc all the way for me.
It is always so funny seeing a fanboy get so upset over other people being allowed to play their exclusives. It just amazes me how people like him cannot understand why they get so much backlash, and they make videos defending anti-consumer practices just so they can keep their bragging rights.
