sunset overdrive was trending all i saw was "is it coming to PS4/5" not one "ew this is a Xbox/PC game you shouldn't get it" but if a Playstation exclusive comes to PC .... meltdown and rage insues.....
i miss when this mindset wasn't a thing, it was about the games i miss those days so fucking much!

I have tried to explain to Ponies before that there is a good segment of the PC community that is an untapped market for Sony because we are not buying consoles for just a few exclusives.
And of course the PC gamer strawman paradox: we are both rich and affording constant upgrades and yet simultaneously too poor to afford a console for exclusives.
The craziest thing a pony said to me was "The PC player base does not respect the exclusives games to warrant a port "

@@hadoke I have no idea. I thought buying Horizon Zero Dawn and putting 70 hours in it in 2 weeks and posting screens hots of the photo mode was respecting the game.

Knowing that it is factually irrefutable PC is the superior gaming hardware, the only reason someone would be mad that Sony ports games to PC is that without exclusives there is no reason to play on the inferior hardware. This leaves people that need to justify purchasing Sony's console without any defensible excuse....
But they can just purchase it by saying i like them more or saying that their friends mostly play there.
Just want to add that porting PC exclusives to console can be great for the communities. I think WoW could benefit from a console port as long as cross play is there.
Consoles cannot support WOW though, since it is unplayable on controllers, with all the abilities and stuff.
It's the same as with RTS, since consoles still work only with controllers, they can't handle RTS games.
@@durshurrikun150 it is playable on controllers. Blizzard added more support and a lot of people use an add on to use controllers.

It's probably a case like an RTS, where controllers are bad for it.
In any case i don't think blizzard has any interest to port it to console, if they did, they would have done that by now.
Also, considering the relative lack of grey matter in console players, most of them being dudebro morons or children, i don't think they can understand the game, as it might be a little too complicated for them.
Now, if blizzard decides to port it, i don't care, i am not affected.

Considering dude bros are all call of duty or fifa fanatics( which are the most played titles on consoles).
For some titles, not all( and i'm willing to be, it's only a minority of games that do that).
On PC? All games have controller support( except those who are old).
Infact they support all manner of input device.
Also, considering how complex wow is, it's actually reasonable to doubt the ability of controller to handle that, there's a reason many games that had to come on console had to be simplified for controllers.
I'm not a PC elitist.
I am neutral towards console players.
However i dislike console peasants who are different thing than console players.
And why should i have big regard for somebody who doesn't complain about sony raising the price of games to 70$ or still buy into their continuous lies?
Whats even funnier is that on ps5, if you have PS Plus, you get access to Uncharted 4 for free via the PS Plus Collection, so on that technicality, Sony is giving the game away to ps5 owners. They've exhausted all the sales they can get from the game (you can get it for like 10 bucks now), so obviously a pc port for it was coming. I'll never understand why people were shocked by this
I never heard of people being mad at Nintendo keeping Mario or Zelda exclusive
If anything, we've been mad at Nintendo for doing half assed port jobs, when SEGA is proving them how it should be done
Getting PC ports of Nintendo games would be great, but that'll never happen. I'm honestly surprised Sony's doing it. Pleasantly surprised, but still

This guy thinks that games made for a specific platform should only be available on that platform. Because if you tried to play a PlayStation "exclusive" on PC, your PC would burst into flames. It's a proven fact!
Bragging rights were always a part of the deal, when PS fanboys bought the console. "I buy your thing, but you make me feel special". Loosing this right feels like a betrayal for them.
I am guessing his "mental illness" mentions are because of people like him being called autistic or saying they are doing "autistic screeching." He is maybe not saying the word due to some attempt at being politically correct and/ or not pissing off youtube.
Meanwhile, I have seen a lot of this and will never get it. Exclusives serve only as bragging rights. Why you would want to seriously brag about a game only because it is exclusive, I will never understand. The only time it makes much sense is maybe to say something like "the PC has Crusader Kings 3, an exclusive game in a genre that is not possible on consoles right now." That is using a game to prop up the platform but most of these third person games don't prop up console as PC can have them just as easily. In my experience, the average PC gamer has different tastes, that's all.
Oh my god! This guy desperately wants to prove that he's not a fanboy, but there's been quite a few clues in his video to show that he really his a fanboy. He just completely in denial about it.
Lets face it, most of the people who hate Jim Ryan and want him out are fanboys who don't like the fact that he's bringing their exclusives to pc, which makes Sony more money + introduces a new audience to their franchises, therefore taking away some of their stupid console wars ammunition and the fact that the next God of War, Gran Turismo and possibly other games will be cross gen, which also makes Sony more money and takes away further stupid console wars ammunition. That's it. From a business perspective Sony's bigger and more profitable than they have ever been therefore he's doing his job.
It's almost July of 2024 and I'm running a GTX 1080Ti with am AM3+ AMD CPU. I can play Helldivers 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 just fine. What are these people smoking? My machine is almost ten years old and I've not upgraded it a single time.
It was only a matter of time that ALL the PS exclusives would be coming to PC especially when big daddy Jim Ryan said quote 'A whole slate.' would be coming.

Moving to pc soon hell yea more games to try out when I leave PlayStations overpriced boat low key the only reason I chose PlayStation 15 years ago was because I like the button layout on the controllers. I don’t think even that can save me from leaving it like a rat fleeing a sinking ship now Sony will get one controller purchase of a ps5 controller from me for steam big picture mode and that’s it.
