OBSERVATION:
mhere til defined PDFS hyperintensity along the articular surface of the acromioctavicular
joint with T2 hyperintense fluid collection and capsule thickening consistent with joint arthrosis.
There is evidence of a complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon near its insertion with a medial
retraction of approximately 2.6 cm. No significant muscle atrophy.
There is evidence of partial thickness undersurface tear in the distal infraspinatus tendon near its
insertion.
There is T2 hyperintensity with irregularity seen at the site of insertion of the subscapularis
tendon consistent with partial tear.
There is ill-defined PDFS hyperintensity along the articular surface of the acromioclavicular
joint with I2 hyperintense iuid collection and capsule thickening consistent with joint arthrosis.
There is T2 hyperintense fluid along the long head of the biceps, suggestive of tenosynovitis.
The rest of the humerus and glenoid process of the scapula show normal articulation with smooth articular margins. The rest of the bones show normal signal intensity .No obvious bony injury or other lesion seen.
The glenoid labrum shows normal MR morphology and signal intensity in the various planes
studied.
The rest of the rotator cuff tendons and the bicipital tendon were visualized in full extent and
shows normal appearance. No evidence of a tear or any other lesion noted.
No evidence of any joint effusion seen.

Acromio-clavicular joint arthrosis.
Complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon.
Sprain in the infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons.
Tenosynovitis in the long head of the biceps.
