5 years later, some of your early videos are my favorites but I still enjoy your new content (watch every one you release actually). Fun to get ideas for my own property watching some of these through the years.

Hey Mike, I woke up this morning a land owner. My wife and i signed papers last eveining on 50 acres in northern Kentucky. Anyway I decided to watch this video because I'll be doing this exact thing very soon. Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks for your videos, they do come in handy for many reasons.

Thanks Mike , love watching you play with your Big Boy Toys. I have 4 acres of woods in Tottenham Ontario, and so i know how therapeutic it is to be out there. The quality of your videos is awesome, and you're a natural on camera. I have learned a lot from your channel so very appreciative of your work. Thanks again :)

I just acquired an 80 acre property up here in Canada is still educating myself in what forestry equipment I'll be needing to develope the property. I find your channel very helpful and so much enlightening. On your previous posts you mentioned the importance of having a skid steer and a tractor , I'd probably be keeping both ! Meanwhile I contracted the access installation and initial clearings to a private company then do the easy ones that I could manage . Thanks for your channel I appreciate the tips and enjoyed watching it .

Hal here from Brandon, Mississippi. Love your videos. You are living just about every man's dream. I know you work for a living so it's not all fun on a tractor. I too love the outdoors and working outdoors. Mine is all done at my club's hunting camp on leased land. Keep those videos coming. By the way, you do a great job editing your videos.

Awesome video. I've owned a tractor since I was 15 years old and love doing this stuff day in and day out. I used to use a tractor about that size but kept running into the same issue I see happening to you sometimes with the tractor not able to lift the brush hog high enough off the ground. I moved to a 50 hp utility tractor and that solved my issues. Good luck and be safe..........

It's kind of fun digging stumps if you know what you're doing. The first time I rented a tracked loader to do some land clearing I discovered what not to do on a hillside. So, I was working downhill on a good sized fir digging around the base of the stump. Then I raised the bucket and pushed the tree over and the loader began to drop into a deep stump pit. My old equipment buddy said always work uphill and avoid those problems. That was probably good advice, at least for me.

Thanks again early this morning, I subscribed but didn't say where I was from, Charleston, IL. and Rural king started in Mattoon IL. about 12 miles away.
    I don't do Facebook
PS: Went to Armstrong installation school way back in another life time 1966, in Lancaster Pa.
On the weekend to a married guy from the NY inner city ( had never been outside of it) and young feller from the inner city of Boston, for a look around ride so they could take pictures. Man did the shoot the rolls of film ??? It was unbelievable to me, they didn't know corn from beans ( spring time and just coming up) and couldn't figure out how I could tell. When one of them keep talking about look at the ears on that horse, I thought he was kidding. We were in Amish area and it was a big Jack. Yes that tool a lot of explaining. Could write a short story on that weekend, but it was two amazed young men, who swore they were going to get outside the city and see what was around them. I would give anything to have a video of it all.

I second this. I have a Piranha Tooth Bar from BXpanded, and it makes a world of difference in digging in untouched soil and pushing down small saplings. I take it off in the winter for snow plowing.

Matthew Nebel I go along with the tooth bar. I have one on my L3301 and needed a dump truck of top soil but the cost to high. I went in the woods behind the house and within an hour had all the dirt I wanted and more. I could not have done it without the tooth bar. Great video, keep it going.
