    I have only watched about 2 minutes of your vlog. I SUBSCRIBED and give you a HIGH FIVE! Thank you, my first year of using my 2380, and I live on a steep hilly farm, but, the roll bar goes up, BEFORE MOVING THE TRACTOR. My wife said so! I did put another bar on the lip of the bucket, to keep down so much wear and tear. Thanks for the vlog, looking for many more. THANKS ALOT!!!!!!!!

      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man thanks i greatly appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it. Having a second bolt on cutting edge on the lip of your bucket is never a bad idea, it not only protects the original welded on edge but it also strengthens the edge of your bucket so when prying materials out of the ground your bucket will not be as prone to bending like others with out the bolt on cutting edge so that was definitely a good call! So is having your rops up! Stay safe and have fun!

    Love watching another 23s work. Thanks for all the videos. Just did my first 10 hour greasing on mine tonight. New grease gun too, was constantly getting stuck on the fittings, so frustrating!

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment! I’m glad your enjoying the videos. As for your grease gun getting stuck, this can happen with almost anything when you have a brand new grease gun as the prints on the end of the grease gun that hold the tip onto the fitting can be really tight when new, it should get easier and easier the more you use the grease gun. If it doesn’t get easier you can always scrape off some of the poweder coat off the grease nipples but before trying that I would maybe suggest trying a different nossle for your grease gun and see if you have any better luck if this nossle never gets easier to work with. Hope this helps

    Nice tractor work very good with the front in loader. You mentioned you don’t like the GoPro seven black. I have two of them and love them. I use external battery that gives me 6 to 9 hours of running time. It’s called refuel and it works great DigiPower Re-Fuel ActionPack Extended Battery for GoPro HERO5/6/7- Black

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Patrick thanks for your comment, I actually ended up finding out why my 7 black was giving me so many issues and it was because of the SD card I was using. I was using a Samsung evo pro 128gb which apparently the GoPro didn’t get along with which was what caused me so many issues in both the cameras I had owned.. I now used a scan disk extreme 128gb and it works flawlessly. Thanks for watching

I’m glad I helped sell the tractor to you as it is an awesome machine. Most tractors and equipment Iv used for any period of time I seem to always break them and find the weak links.. my BX on the other hand has just blown my mind with just how much abuse it can take and keep coming back for more.. every time I think “oh this is gonna break something for sure” it never breaks! Lol. I’m glad my videos have knocked off lots of hours from your learning curve, it really does make a huge difference when your able to see it being done first.. I’m the same way. If the blue/green pipes are drainage those large rocks will do great where the water hits. We use them for large pond drains to keep it from washing the dirt away.

      Really? haha thats funny! No need to take it off IMO, not only is it more weight but its more stable as well! Only time I would see someone taking it off is because they are driving on very bumpy ground where the deck can easily bottom out or maybe in thick woods where the deck could easily get damaged. I have roughly 3 acres that has ponding and crap trees that need to be taken out.
    I scored 30 loads of good top fill from a local project in town for $1k... thought I did great at roughly $33/load but now I realize I don't know what I'm doing!!
    Please give me some pointers on filling in low lying areas... float does NOT work how I imagined and I seem to be applying around 2-3" of topsoil but keeping the old grade I'm trying to get rid of.
    Thanks, great vids. subd!

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Luke thanks for the sub! Grading with a front end loader looks a lot easier than it actually is sometimes but I can try to give you a few tips tho it’s gonna be hard to explain not being there to show you. The biggest thing is to find the grade you want to keep and do that first.. then work off of that grade using it as a template to keep it all the same.. float will not work well for super fresh/soft topsoil the bucket will often dig down into the dirt ruining all your work.. the way I often use float is by making sure Iv got the tractor on my template or the spot that I’m happy with, I’ll dump a bucket of dirt into the low spot that you want to grade.. then staying in the same spot while being in front of your freshly dumped topsoil drop your bucket to the ground using float (keeping it curled all the way backwards) and once the bucket makes contact with the ground take it OUT of float but make sure to keep the bucket right where it was at.. then drive forward to spread the pile with your bucket curled all the way back.. this should insure that your spreading through topsoil at the exact same level while your using your bucket/loader as a debth gauge on the grade that your happy with.. a lot of it also is just learning the feel of the tractor and going by sight.. making sure your tractor is level before trying to grade is another huge factor.. if your tractor is crooked so will your grade be.. so make sure you make your template then keep your tractor on top of it as you continue to grade out the area around it.. as long as your tractor stays level so will the ground beneath it. Hope this helps, it’s very tough to explain with out being there to show you. Best of luck!

    • @SlopChap
      @SlopChap 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BiffsEquipment Thanks for the reply, great job explaining it. I think I'm trying to work to big an area at once. Sounds like I need to establish my template and slowly work outwards from there, not moving on until the newly worked soil matches my template.
      Makes sense, float definitely wasn't doing it!
      Thanks again, looking forward to the next video.
