    Laughing right now listening to your wrap up and what the ideal tractor combo would be knowing now that you have FOUR!!!! How things change! Got what you wanted and you’re still married!

    A B and an M series. Who would have thought that both would show up at Camp Morgan ( for free ). Well deserved

    Mike, Sure glad I found you tonight. Besides Jeeps, I make my living with zero turn mowers and Kubota equipment. Mowers are Toro and Walker, Kubotas are a grand L 5740(with attachments) and an X-1100C with Boss V- plow (that replaces a 2 door JK and Meyer plow). For Kubota intel, watch Paul and Kathy Short. They are wonderful. Be well. Wayne

    Love my tractor! It is older, no 4wd, no bucket on the front, but just love running it. I will say this...i've had a finish mower on it in the past, and it does great on large open areas, but other than that, it can't replace the speed of a zero turn!

    Hi Mike... I love watching your videos! I have a new BX2370 and as much as I enjoying working with it, even with a ballast box, I find myself on two wheels and scares the heck out of me. It is just a narrow machine and I CANNOT work on any grade without feeling as if I will flip on my side. Keep up the great videos. I admire your beautiful work.

    I use a 96" and a 60" finish mower with my Kubotas...might be an easy solution to your problem. For me it means two less motors to maintain and more uses for the tractors. Me and my son mowed a 6 acre field in 35 minutes yesterday. Great video! Keep them coming!

    Mike I had L39 series and moved up to M and it has worked out great, next is a backhoe
    with thumb to help with cutting rounds to save on back.

    • @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans
      @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark Leonard, yes a hoe with a thumb would be the ticket. I've been pretty spoiled here with a bobcat dealer not far at all that treats me very well on excavator rentals. But I would still like one on a tractor

    I think that the weather has gone a little crazy. We've just had over a week of days around 90 degrees in London, supposed to break today so I'll let you know if we get washed out! You make really professional videos, good job!

      Outdoors With The Morgans winter is normally mild and wet. We sometimes get a colder spell with frost and a dust of snow but not every year.

  • @ronbarfield5615
    @ronbarfield5615 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    sorry Morgan but keep the zero turn, time is one thing property owners rarely have too much of. I think the 3901 is a good size all around tractor, the L Grand with a cab would be worth a look for your part of the country and a step up in size/weight and power. Nice work on the still practically New bota! I like my ol box blade for moving material and heavier type work but I recently picked up a ea attachments land leveler with the scarifiers, it has made my driveway maintenance a 3 pass and done job, almost too easy and when I let it go or it rains for days just drop the teeth two holes and let it work. it has made my box blade into ballast status lol. a bit pricey but what isn't for a tractor....

  • @837skione
    @837skione 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sorry guy for all your work... but you engineered an excellent river bottom for next rainfall!!! Need 3-4 dump trucks of new gravel to build driveway grade above turf level... then have wash out problem fixed.

  • @roybracy5074
    @roybracy5074 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree these Kubota compact tractors are great machines I've got a b1620 brought in April already I've done 59hrs on it and we only have 3acres I use every day from carrying water and food for pigs to cleaning out and general clearance of our land, it's only 16hp but things you can do are unbelievable.only regret can't have backhoe on it in UK.but I've dug ditches put fence posts in to moving furniture and sheds around with it.yes get rid of zero turn and get a b model.good video as normal.

    • @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans
      @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Roy Bracy I love those 1620s, I don't know why they don't sell them here in the states

    • @roybracy5074
      @roybracy5074 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Outdoors With The Morgans strange don't sell there, it's same here they won't sell backhoe on their tractors here because they sell minidiggers.

    Hi Mike, I really enjoy discovering your channel recently and watching you maintain such a beautiful piece of property! How long have you had your 3901? After your party, I'd like to see you make a video discussing its pros and cons so far. I have an old Ford 641 Workmaster with a PTO that can no longer handle my mowing demands and need to purchase a tractor that can handle mowing and loading. Your informed opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Charlie

  • @imysteryman
    @imysteryman 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Mike
    I have a L3830 Kubota tractor and when I bought it I also got a Land Pride 6ft box blade which is one of the better ones. I got tired of playing around changing the top link and lowering the teeth when trying to dig and trying to level. I added a roller to the back of the box blade and boy does it work great, I can control the blade height with the hydraulic cylinder on the fly. I took off the teeth because I do not need them to dig, just raise the roller and it will put enough weight on the blade to make it cut. When I want to level I just set the blade level and the roller rolls it down like a road grader. It works great for raking leaves also, I set the blade say 1 inch off the ground and drive. Check out the video on my channel if you like.

      Outdoors With The Morgans Your welcome.
      Back in February I was talking to a guy who came to the restaurant I work at, he was in Louisville for the National Farm Machinery show and he is doing just what you want to do, two tractors, a little one for tight spaces that he already owned when he owned a half dozen acres at his former residence and looking at getting a big one for big jobs in his newly aquired acreage. I got the impression buying a big tractor will not be much of a financial strain on him. Would love to be in that situation, lol.

    Do you have water in your rear tires?

    • @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans
      @OutdoorsWithTheMorgans  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I never did load the rear tires, I may still do that but I always have something on the back when working anyway for Ballast but I Believe it would help more to load them

  • @GPOutdoors
    @GPOutdoors 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    LOL. Need to ease her into it slowly. A little at a time. Little comments here and there about how money is wasted on a single purpose machine and could be sold and $$ utilized better on a B series. Then move into how she could work together with you if there were two tractors working in harmony and you could be spending more time together working your land. It's a skill. But I can tell you can be pretty convincing....Cheers and good luck. Great videos Mike- Best channel !

    please check you local laws, I believe you have to be at least 150 yards away from any inhabitable building. like houses, garages, sheds, tents or anything that a person could be in. I was reading through this but it's all legal jargon and hard for us normal folk to understand.

      P.s. I'm no gun nut, love to shoot, I wish I could shoot on my 4 acer property. but following what i think i would not be allowed . having two houses on it, a church on one side and a development on the other. just not a clear shooting path far enough from anybody.
