Am I the only one who feels like they committed a major crime if they accidently skipped some of Sadia's video? Everything is amazingly well filmed, aesthetically pleasing and looks delicious, you miss out on a major part of your life if you skip.

My family and I arent vegan but I have been making the butternut squash and sage recipe for a few years and everytime I do everyone loves it and I get to see the biggest smile on my moms face as its one of her favorite meals ☺️

I cook vegan food every night and that was one of the simplest and tastiest thing I have made yet. I subbed for store bought vegan parmesan & used frozen broccoli I look forward to trying the rest of these recipes !

Even different in South Australia rather than my state of Victoria. I think I use a schwa in the I say it. It’s not exactly how the Italians pronounce it either. So hard to define “correct” because it’s so subjective I guess. Interesting to me as I’m currently understanding a linguistics major. 🙂

I made the grilled pepper pasta last night and it actually surprised me by how absolutely delicious it was. So quick and simple and totally flavoursome. You know when something is THAT good when you look at the leftovers in the fridge and think - "Geez I can't wait for lunch tomorrow to polish that off" Am making the squash and sage pasta tonight... Her dishes are amazing and very nutricious, but a plant-based diet is not sustainable on the long term for health reason. I did it for a year in 2016, before I had to stop. Same for many friends. We start for political/ethical reason, we end for health reason. Very few People can sustain an plant-based diet for the long term. Check out some testimony on youtube 👌 hope this can help

I love that you use the stem of the broccoli and the skin of the pumpkin. I really don't understand why we learn to throw that away, it's so tasty. And I should try to start roasting the seeds as well, it seems so easy when you do it haha.
I think you can. Take one with the same consitency, if you make a pesto, but I always substitute nuts with others, if i dont have the right one. Also you can substitute pine nuts with sunflowerseeds. Here in Germany pine nuts are more expensive than sunflowerseeds.
I so much like your channel and recipes! I lately bought your e-book and it's incredible cheap for a great amount of recipes! And they're so good! I make every week about four new ones to try out! Today I'll make the Roasted bell pepper pesto (by the way not in the book, but that's no problem, even more to try!). And last week I made 4 soup recipes on one day to prepare ahead and put in the freezer for busy days. All four are great: Borscht, African peanut soup, butter squash, mushroom potatoes! Thank you so much! I hope I'll meet you once by accident while doing groceries, as I also live in Amsterdam....

I just made the baked hummus pasta sauce dish because I'm like "ooh, I have all those ingredients on hand!" But it turned out I didn't have enough red pepper hummus in my fridge. But I DID have a can of chickpeas, jar of roasted red peppers, and tahini. So I essentially made the hummus in the blender with coconut milk. Gotta say, this turned out delicious!

when i saw the ingredients for the butternut squash and sage pasta, i immediately felt theres a 99% chance i WON'T want to bother making this. just cos ive never heard of soy cooking cream & ive never used sage before so dont even know if i like it. but i figured i'd watch anyway cos your recipes are always beautifully filmed, and your kitchen gear & ingredients are always "just so" which makes watching u cook enjoyable regardless, kinda like watching beautiful art in the making! i haven't switched to a plant-based diet but i definetly did start to consume less meat and choose healthier options of food throughout the day

I see so many tips from Gaz Oakley perfectly implemented here.. (pasta water to thinken, rolled and cut sage, pasta/sauce ratio...) and it all looks sooo delicious!!!!! I´m so happy I have all the ingredients for pasta No2 already at home.. it will be a glorious dinner tonight.. Thanks Sadia!
