I’m in the same boat… I played ifr first and I loved it. I’ve had botw and totk on the shelf. I committed myself to start playing started botw. I stopped midway coz I was more frustrated than happy playing it. Went back to replaying immortals and I’m hooked again haha
I have always loved Zelda. BoTW was an amazing experience. But, when I first heard and saw Immortals Fenyx Rising, I knew it would be better than BotW. Better graphics, better combat, I’d also say better story (didnt really care for the broken story elements from BotW) better framerare, Jesus better framerate! Just an overall better game. MY only problem with IFR, is the items gathering. It feels like its some ios roguelike game. Where in Zelda, certain monsters drop certain items, which you can use to make stuff from. Still, Immortals Fenyx Rising is the superior game overall. What most people fail to realize that cry “Zelda copy” is… its not exactly a copy if you’re doing it BETTER than the original. Something would be a filthy copy if you’re doing it the same or inferior to the original copied product.
The game was great. Felt like a slightly more challenging BOTW. The mechanics they ripped off I really liked in those other games so none of that bothered me. I think almost all fans of the newer Zelda titles would love it.

Tried it on game pass and honestly one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time

Fenyx Rising was pretty awesome. The only thing that bugged me was all the puzzles. To me, it was immersion-breaking. Too many of them.

Agreed! Who wouldn't like great exploration, fun puzzles, challenging combat, and a fun story?
