I just finished the game at 51 hours and I loved every minute of this game. I'm just about to start the DLC. This is one of the best game's from Ubisoft in a LONG time.

They are removing achievements and trophies from future games and giving us the ability to get UBISOFT REWARDS. I don’t care how good their games are I won’t be buying them over this. It’s a BS tactic to force us to make accounts under them.

I don't think this game is really that much sequellable.. It's just another greek mythology, what else could it explore? Except maybe hel and some places. Except ofcourse, it follows gow footsteps, by going to other mythology

Helps games stand the test of time. Look ar Wind Waker; has it aged? Yeah. Does it still look good? Yeah. It wouldn't look as aged had the Wii U not had a remastered version, but in either case, it still looks decent due to it's style.

My reason for preferring stylized games is that they offer a break away from realism, and with WAY more variety than anything realistic could offer. Sumi-e, Mayan crafted, Wool and Yarn based worlds, Paint based worlds. These stylized games not only had a different visual style from realistics games, but they were unmoored from realistic concepts as well. They actively used mechanics born from the aesthetic. So paintings would create effects in the world, you could unwind yarn beings or use scissors as the ultimate threat, painting things to influence things etc... Games are about interactivity and the entertainment you get from the variety and reactions from interacting with the game space. Stylized games just give me more of that.

He missed the rating. In fact this is one thing he should drastically improve, state the rating in the beginning and then launch into the details; then wrap it up stating the rating again. In fact state it AND display it on the screen would be even better. Iv been following this channel for over a year now and this thing has always frustrated me. The reviews are great but they fall short on this critical element.
Maybe it's because you're not supposed to buy the game based on a x/10 scale but rather: 1. What type of game is it/is it for you 2. The quality of the various aspects of the game. This is where ACG shines. 3. Price to content ratio.

As soon as I heard the music I thought it sounded similar to Ori and I felt relaxed by it. Then you said Gareth Coker and now it all makes sense. That man is a musical genius. The soundtrack for Ori and the Will of the Wisps is one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time. It’s so beautiful to listen to.

Yeah, games like this remind you there are a lot of creative people at these companies that just want to make amazing games! Stinks the leadership of these companies can get in the way of that.

You'll have to rebind the buttons if you want it anything like Zelda, since the layout is similar to Odyssey. I didn't like either of their layouts, so I rebound them. It mostly feels like BotW.

I'm late the the party here only having bought it recently, but damn, this game had me HOOKED!! Genuinely, SO much fun and it ate up so much of my time without me even noticing because I was just that immersed. I genuinely hope they make a sequel to this to tighten up just a few of those mechanics and even expand on some others, because the amount of fun and content this game offered is incredible!!

Just picked it up and I’m 20 hours in and I love this game. Great open world, great combat, great and funny characters and great story. I loved BOTW but this may top it for me. One of the most fun games I’ve played in a long time.

It's not a zelda rip-off. It's literally a hybrid of Disney (like the humor & voices which I loved) + God of War junior style combat + AC Odyssey storyline/ Greek Mythology + Zelda BOTW shrines. I randomly bought this game having no idea what to expect & it's by far the best Ubisoft game I've played in a long time

If you don’t have any similar games on your current docket, it’s a great substitution to scratch that itch. If you’re too burnt out though, understandable.
Let's hope Ubisoft makes a series out of this artstyle. You can only do so much with bland alien gray and Rick Grimes brown before you ask the former to probe your eyes out and the latter to blow bust the cap of the nearest zombie just to know if you haven't gone colourblind. That and the faces might be pretty good to look at long term too so it's a win-win!
I was lucky/fortunate enough to get my hands on the PS5, so I’d imagine 4K/60(ish) to be possible with the horsepower, and this games relatively light load on textures..
I picked this game up for like 20$ for PS5 as I typically avoid buying retail price Ubisoft games like the plague due to them always being dirt cheap months after release. I was pleasantly surprised by this game ! 15 hours in and I’m having a blast!

I loved "Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together," the title alone told me it was a tactics game set in the Ogre Battle world, but I can see how it would sound insane to most people.
I'm very happy about the reviews on this game. I was sincerely waiting for this one over Valhalla. I like both, but Fenyx Rising is more of breath of fresh air to me.
The audio at the end sounds like he purposefully cut out the part where he says if it's a buy or not although what he says afterward implies it is a buy.

If you turn up the Color and the Contrast in your television settings, Valhalla looks amazing you just have to tweak it. They completely botched the color in Valhalla, it all blends together too much and looks like it’s being viewed through a thin translucent veil over it
FYI, i heard a rumor it was actually Monster Energy drink that took issue with Gods and Monsters and forced them to find a boring generic name. not that gods and monsters was super original but it was catchier than what they went with.
I randomly bought this game for a plane flight & I LOVE it! My roommate liked it so much, she exchanged Cyberbug2077 to get it lol. This is by far the best Ubisoft game I've played in a while. It's a combination of Disney + God of War junior + AC Odyssey + Zelda BOTW shrines. Highly recommend, even on Switch. Oh, & if u have it on console or PC & Switch, it has CROSS PLATFORM SAVES! 🔥👍🏽💞
Fate was my childhood man. I played a 2 session demo of that game where i would leave my laptop on for as long as possible so i could get the most out of each session before i was locked out of playing it.

This is a game where if there’s an option to choose helmets over faces, I’d actually choose helmets for once.

If you don’t have any similar games on your current docket, it’s a great substitution to scratch that itch. If you’re too burnt out though, understandable.
Let's hope Ubisoft makes a series out of this artstyle. You can only do so much with bland alien gray and Rick Grimes brown before you ask the former to probe your eyes out and the latter to blow bust the cap of the nearest zombie just to know if you haven't gone colourblind. That and the faces might be pretty good to look at long term too so it's a win-win!

I was lucky/fortunate enough to get my hands on the PS5, so I’d imagine 4K/60(ish) to be possible with the horsepower, and this games relatively light load on textures..

I picked this game up for like 20$ for PS5 as I typically avoid buying retail price Ubisoft games like the plague due to them always being dirt cheap months after release. I was pleasantly surprised by this game ! 15 hours in and I’m having a blast!

I loved "Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together," the title alone told me it was a tactics game set in the Ogre Battle world, but I can see how it would sound insane to most people.

I like the art style. Focus on HD realistic graphics only takes resources away from other parts of the game, and it makes it more recognizable too

If you turn up the Color and the Contrast in your television settings, Valhalla looks amazing you just have to tweak it. They completely botched the color in Valhalla, it all blends together too much and looks like it’s being viewed through a thin translucent veil over it

If I recall, the reason this game had its name changed from Gods & Monsters was because of a lawsuit from...Monster Energy, of all things.
Wasn't it imminent litigation from Monster Energy that lead to the name change?
FYI, i heard a rumor it was actually Monster Energy drink that took issue with Gods and Monsters and forced them to find a boring generic name. not that gods and monsters was super original but it was catchier than what they went with.

I managed to get the Platinum trophy of this game last week. I want to play the DLCs now! This is my GOTY this year. ❤️
I randomly bought this game for a plane flight & I LOVE it! My roommate liked it so much, she exchanged Cyberbug2077 to get it lol. This is by far the best Ubisoft game I've played in a while. It's a combination of Disney + God of War junior + AC Odyssey + Zelda BOTW shrines. Highly recommend, even on Switch. Oh, & if u have it on console or PC & Switch, it has CROSS PLATFORM SAVES! 🔥👍🏽💞

Fate was my childhood man. I played a 2 session demo of that game where i would leave my laptop on for as long as possible so i could get the most out of each session before i was locked out of playing it.

So this is essentially AC Odyssey Lite, just with slightly lower quality? Odyssey is one of the best AC games Ubi has done in a while. I'll have to check this one out.
Ubisoft, did well this time. I won't take that away from them. This could be a good turning point.
Picked it up on Epic Game Store for 30 USD on the Holiday Sale and using the 10 dollar off coupon they give out all the time.
