Let me tell my story I didnt go with verna only because of its front look, I owned 1.4 crdi i20 before, skoda slavia felt and average car, i was keen on virtus, But sales team is not interested much, It took 1 week for them to get back to me, I test drove hybrid city and fell in love and honda were more open for sales conversation and now a happy City Hybrid owner, njoying the drive comfort in Bangalore city traffic with a whoping 22 kmph mileage
I think your take on ingress egress could be improved. Bring someone overweight, elderly, someone with a short height, someone taller to test it. The impressions of a fit 6'0" guy can hardly be used, especially when ingress and egress matter most to the elderly.
Compare the prices as well for turbo engine... Being a family car Honda city always have top edge. Slavia is good car but can't compare reliability and service centre as compare to Honda. I am considering only 1.0 litre engine
Slavia, Virtus back seat for 3 is very uncomfortable. I have been there as a side passenger and wanted to get out of the car as soon as i can. Also the plastics touching my arm feels very cheap. Overall the cars don't give you the premium feeling even after spending so much. City feels good to seat, feels upmarket from inside, but music quality of the pre facelift version atleast was not good. Low speed drivability is best among the 4 here so city traffic drives are relaxing. Verna looks good from interiors. But exterior front face is very confusing. I atleast cant live with that design. Also being a hyundai means 3 star ratings, inferior quality build, and flat and dead stearing wheel.
Honda city Hybrid is a better product than city cvt not just because of mileage but because it has 1. Rear discs 2. Brake hold 3. Electronic parking break 4. Lower CG because of hybrid battery giving a better ride quality and stability 5. Instantaneous torque because of hybrid motor which makes launch very powerful. All these are available in V hybrid variant. V hybrid doesn't get a sunroof so those who are not interested in sunroof like me, V hybrid is a great product, Of course Zx Hybrid is too costly for the value it offers.
Bought VW virtus but I'm crying now, I thought quality will be great as it's VW but there is creaking sound everywhere and also after sales service is not as great as hyundai and honda. After watching verna this dashboard feels outdated and it's also expensive then verna. I know driving at high speed is best but i rarely get that chance as my most of the drive is in city. I wish I've waited for the launch of verna 🥹🥹

Now these are now outdated vs new HONDA ELEVATE in price range from 16-22...sparing out fancy frills...but if one is to choose...Sedans slavia or kushaq virtua is more better than slavia ,VM are miles apart....I hope germans improvize their AC performance as per indian humd climate and thier supsensions..a little bit..All experiences differ wheree one is in driving front seats or in back...HOnda is bumpy inback but great visitibility in driving...but same goes with Skoda or VM vritus...it all depends ....But if u have a choice NOW...ELEVATE is much better , had they brought their known HYBRID or Turbo then missing some features would not have been a deal breaker yet... but no one can beat the SPACE OF TATAS ....but its Service sucks..really sucks...

Verna has the worst interiors of the lot. The plastics used are too pathetic and the overall experience is bad. Virtus is the one to go. Second would be slavia.
Bought hundai verna recently. It is a great car and very comfortable. It is perfect for long tours. Happy with the car.
