There's literally no competition to Virtus GT for enthusiast driving. Honda City is best suited for family, budget and reliability. Verna is a mixed bag of everything, adding features and premium feel too 💯
Put lowering stiffened springs on the city with some wide rubber on stock rims with the "manual Ivtec" then i don't think that virtus is the only one for enthusiastic driving. City's stock suspension is soft but not that soft like the Verna. It's a mixture of soft and stiff. I own a city 5th gen vx and like people say it's for family i don't think that exactly because it has better looks than the virtus. I own a pearl white colour with tinted windows and it doesn't looks like a family car at all. Now the conclusion~ City is a sleeper car.

It is that good that verna with its 1.5 turbo takes 10.5 sec while NA city takes just 0.5 sec more. also NA engines are more fuel efficient , reliable, durable, easy to maintain and also CNG friendly

I think City's NA engine is much more powerful than what the numbers say... We are comparing turbo to NA and still with about 30-40 BHP less and 100 Nm less torque, the 0-100 kmph time difference is marginal and is sufficient for most as constant triple digit speeds are only safe on expressways...
This 0-100 isnt practical in normal driving, check roll-on acceleration times of City compared to turbo cars where City is far behind its turbocharged rivals, I have a City as well as a turbo car in my garage so speaking of user experience

But with correct downshifts you can achieve similar results in City.. that is what I have seen because in-gear acceleration from 5th and 6th especially on 2 lane highways feel sluggish and in some situations even 4th gear but with tall gear ratios and the ability of the City to do almost 60 in first gear, almost 110 in 2nd and almost 160 in 3rd gear gives it the edge over other naturally aspirated engines. I know practically people don't do it but for people who have done it will easily overcome this sluggish and gain similar turbo performance but with downshifts
I watch drag races to see the engine potential and even though the mid range of City is not very strong, it can beat or give tough competition to many turbos due to the ease and rapidly increasing power when approaching 7k RPM which no other naturally aspirated engines are capable of and also with proper driving style achieve great fuel economy so engine is highly potent was my point even with lesser power specs
All the ppl who are choosing verna and vw will have holes in their pockets going fwd while those cars age up....but its not the case with CITY 🔥🥰 HERE ENDS THE DECISION..
All 3 cars are good for certain aspects. ..for slow speed comfort verna scores over other 2 as the suspension is soft butter smooth ride..not meant for high speed driving though has better tuned engine......For Highway speed stability, ride , handling top speeds, braking, lane change etc etc virtus is the emperor... City is balanced overall car , rear seat comfort, leg space and meant for chauffeur driven. .. People should identify what would be their priority and choose the car. .. And all 3 cars are almost equal in maintenance cost.
Verna is like best of the both worlds and perfect balance of driving,features,safety,resale value,maintenance. People wanting to lean more on driving should definitely go for virtus but i would avoid city. Because this city is not what made city famous in this country

Had my city in June22....zx cvt....driven 12.5k km so far....no complains....really smooth...features well don't get the cooled/heated seats...infotainment visibility low in broad daylight...rest nothing to complain....14.4 km till date....with 80% in NCR drive....rest highway

Stable body, built like a tank, excellent driving dynamics and timeless and classy design..Followed closely by City( ever reliable/ comfort).. Last will be Verna , Typical hyundai offering.(.Loaded with features, poor steering feedback, poor built quality but great pricing attracting masses) !

Verna has better engine, relatively more reliable double clutch transmission, 5 star Global NCAP rating, heated and ventilated seated, higher quality plastic/soft touch materials, variable ambient lights, better sound system, better boot space, disc breaks for all wheels, ADAS level 2 and priced even less than virus + Slavia. If you can ignore or change the front bumper it straight away looks like a 2024 Hyundai Sonata. Also finally hyundai has much better service after sales compared to horror experiences and costing of VW & Skoda. Any logical person would rate Verna at the top or maybe realise the extra cost VW/SKODA is charging. No doubt Virtus/Slavia DSG are more fun to drive, but I think it's a give or take for everything in life 😂
