All it boils down to comfort and mileage in Indian conditions, we’ll for at least next 7-10 years. Turbo engines and 0-100 is not a day to day thing. German engines with high performance don’t provide the mileage we need with petrol prices steady over 105 for a long time now. It makes a big hole in average Indian pocket driving Germans. Being a enthusiast and making a practical decision are two completely separate things. 😊
Honda city hybrid is the best because of reliability and efficiency and safety, the new city got 5 star safety in Asian ncap and also auto lane mitigation, auto braking and ADAS safety
The reasons as per my opinion, would be higher waiting time with the Germans due to chip shortage, also, there was a huge backlash due to the features they deleted in Slavia. Also, Kushaq Monte Carlo edition was launched, and it might have cannibalised the market considering Slavia and Virtus were even targetting customers from the compact SUV segment by giving higher GC. City has performed consistently since hardcore sedan fans, is what it caters to while the fluctuations in Slavia numbers can be attributed to them having targetted a mixed audience.
All time Honda cars the build quality and after sales service stand out......i have Honda City 5gen and also the civic always been a Honda fan and will be......☺️😘
I’m from northeast and we have just one dealership of VW that too it’s 400 kms away from my location, it’s sad that they don’t provide enough service centres and dealerships in our northeastern states, if we people here would like to buy any of their models than we have rethink about their after sales services. So here the enthusiasts people who would like to have one VW would rather buy other brands like Hyundai or Honda because of network service centre’s availability.
Those NVH levels in the Honda he is talking about, I noticed that instantly during my test drive. I could not consider the City after that given the price they are asking. You can consider the Hybrid for its efficiency if you are going to drive it a lot. Other than that, the Germans are the way to go. And what about the 5 star Safety rating you get with the Germans, was there a mention of that? That is way more important than ADAS in India.
City hybrid has boot space of 306litres(because of battery 🔋 for hybrid system). It’s there in city’s brochure which was confirmed by the sales executive when I took a test drive of it last month.
Slightly biased to the city, seems like the driving snd performance department didn't mention the incredible performance difference between the three. Even the features list is much bigger with the Germans.
Honda just need to add better infotainment system and other smart features for price they are charging to make from Better to BEST!!! Any days, Honda CITY remains King of B segment Seadan's
It's really irritating when a channel like yours generalize both VW and Škoda brands as "the Germans". Yes both brands belong to Volkswagen group, and both vehicles are based on exactly same platform, but they are two individual car brands globally. Škoda is not German, it's a Czech brand. 😤 Instead of calling the both brands German, you can more correctly call them European if you wish to.
Since actual buyers cant drive for free, unlike moto-journalists and other social media influencers, after how many years will an owner have to scrap each of these cars?

@@naveenbalineni235 not necessarily.. it depends on your highway to city ratio. For example, every year, i do long road trips multiple times. So about 70 percent of my yearly kms are on highways. I love Honda City hybrid
Cost of city hybrid is around 26lakhs .where as slavia 1.5 is around 21 lakhs .slavia better than city
I love the review, it is very classy, the music, explanation, locations everything are fantastic.
July month's sales Virtus and slavia combined lag behind Honda City, why are people choosing city over vw twins?

Such a funny ending! Throughout the video Virtus is being praised over City and the verdict hands it to City. Hahaha
🫠 as a package (that powertrain is so cool) it wins. But individual areas, we had our preferences

Does city eHev have a boot space of 410L. I remember reading somewhere that it was in the low 300.
Yeah, I am confused too
City hybrid has boot space of 306litres(because of battery 🔋 for hybrid system). It’s there in city’s brochure which was confirmed by the sales executive when I took a test drive of it last month.

Don't be fooled by Overall Mileage. Check the In-City mileage where most of the Drives shall be. The difference is huge. City on an average shall be atleast 50% more efficient.
@@naveenbalineni235 not necessarily.. it depends on your highway to city ratio.
For example, every year, i do long road trips multiple times. So about 70 percent of my yearly kms are on highways.
When i was deciding on virtus, going by arai honda had overall efficiency of 19.5 or 20.. wheras virtus had 17.
