Apt comparison and great verdict !! I own a Safari Accomplished DT-AT. Bought in Feb. I am from Uttarakhand and also own a Thar 2019 model. My experience with Safari facelift is overall great. And Service (even free service) is definitely a concern. But I think Mahindra is also only a little better in terms of Service quality. I drove Safari all over in Snow, bad roads, no-roads, despite of the fact it is front wheel drive, the terrain feels smooth most of the time and never stuck anywhere so far. I must mention that one need Snow chains in Snow even if in a 4X4. To my surprise, body roll in mountains (despite 19 inches tyres) is very less (lesser than Thar and XUV 700). April Software upgrade was amazing and I have not noticed any glitch lately. My own verdict is (and I will only compare between XUV 700 and Safari Diesel Automatic that too only in mountains), Safari Automatic is more comfortable, easy to drive and give tons of confidence in hills. It also has better Road presence than XUV. XUV has an advantage of All Wheel drive. Safari has different Terrain modes. Honestly I never got into a situation to require any power in rear tyres and even have not frequently used Safari's driving modes. My comparison is not so technical and just from a user perspective. Thanks
We recently bought the Hector and compared it with other cars like the XUV 700 and Safari...Hector felt much more premium and spacious. Quality of the Safari didn’t impress us, and from what we heard from our family members, Tata's service isn't great. So, we removed the Safari from our list and chose the Hector Plus. We're really happy with our decision! 😀😀

Sir every TH-cam blogger dominates MG Hector, I don't know why but it's a very mature car keeping all the things in a very correct position such as built quality, door thud, infinity speakers, large touch screen, sitting material used. Just one thing not in a mark that's petrol engine assembled in heavy car.
Looks wise without a second thought SAFARI it's aggressive and bigger bonnut adding to it's bulkiness . It's best looking in all . No one is even near Safari 🥵
Innova Hycross best in this segment. Service 10/10 Safety - 10/10 Mileage - 10/10 Comfort - 10/10 Reliability - 10/10 Fit & Finish - 10/10 Inside Cabin Space - 10/10 After Sale & Service - 10/10 Proper 7 Seater Seating - 10/10 ❤❤❤❤
I have been a legit follower of Motoroctane but I do not agree with this video. When describing about interiors of MG Hector, you said it is okayish and not that premium which I completely disagree. I had booked XUV 700 AX7 L Petrol. But as soon as I sat in MG Hector for test drive, I could feel the difference that Hector interiors are far superior and breathes luxury. If you dont believe me, book test drive of both cars at same time and compare. Or even go to their websites, take virtual tour of car and select the back seat view of front console. All in all, MG is not what it is portrayed in this video. Luxury and comfort are to be experienced and not judged based on video reviews like Rachit tells about the looks of car. I do not intend to drive the car at 150-200 kmph so I do not need a powerful engine like XUV700. Plus i felt that the dealership experience of Mahindra is very poor. Since their car is in demand, the sales team does not bother about customer. When I cancelled the booking of 700, they did not even ask me the reason. 😅 When I am spending 20+L on car, I need a good service and luxury and not feel like a beggar in front of dealer. I do not want to follow what everyone else is doing like a sheep. Choose the car based on your needs and dealership experience and not based on tick marks on checklists.
exactly. looking at his review i can clearly see his biasness towards his personal car the mahindra xuv 700 whereas treating the hector as a second choice to the rest of the cars and the objectivity missing. having personally compared all the cars at a consumer level, could never feel any of the cars as premium as hectors. i agree it has its own shortcomings but when you consider the price differences for the respective models, after sales service, reliability the value that the car possesses increases substantially to the rest.
Thank You Rachit... @MotorOctane YOU gave me confidence in Mahindra.... Bought XUV 700 far better than All these... Drivability, dynamics, features looks overall package
While I like your videos and follow your channel.. I have a feedback as a recent car buyer. You never touch or discuss upon the after sales service of each brand in your comparison. It's a very big point for a car buyer. A person buys a car today, but needs high quality after sales service for probably next 7-8 years or even more. Market feedback for example brands like Mahindra & Tata are not very good when it comes to after sales service, while for MG it's quite decent. Also, today electronics is a big part of any car, and brands like Mahindra is facing quite a backlash when it comes to quality of it's electronic equipments / parts. For a buyer, you miss out on these key points while sharing your recommendation. I hope you understand this and try to touch upon or include these as well for a fair overall comparison.

I know the other cars in this video have better build quality, except Innova Hycross which I think is the same as Alcazar. Personally, I would give the score 8/10 for Alcazar.

well using the 1.5L turbo dct alcazar for over a year now faced no such issues with the DCT gearbox idk why people exaggerate it the only thing that I noticed coming from a amt gearbox is that there is a transmission chain sound during the initial 3-4 seconds of starting the car but it goes away. we asked the service centre they said its normal and happens on all DCT gearboxes. now if you are looking for space and are willing to compromise in terms of features I suggest go with the hycross no other car is better but if you plan on car as an optional seven seater then alcazar is the way to go you can move the second row seats all back to bring enough legroom from what I noticed it gave me around the same legroom as that of the mg hector and that too was the older alcazar considering the new one gets scooped up seats then im assuming you should be getting more legroom in the facelift than what im getting. and yeah the third row is useable it can be used for 3 hours non stop drive after that it starts feeling uncomfortable but no problems other than that. now kia seltos is also a good car its clearly much more premium when compared to alcazar and hycross so that is also a good choice. the fuel efficiency on the turbo petrol is: 18-20kmpl on highway 13-14kmpl in hilly regions (totally dependent on type of road but it will give you above 10) 9-8 kmpl in city with heavy traffic. now mind you the initial city mileage will be low like 6-7kmpl but you will see a boost in fuel efficiency after the initial servicing. for 5 ft 4 inches the third row will have sufficient enough space.
@@peterpaul765 being a seltos HTX IVT owner I can definitely recommend you this car man! I just love it….. I think you should consider Alcazar or seltos because when I was buying my car under 20 lakhs I was also hovering around on mileage and brand value but trust me the only thing you care when you get the car is driving experience, service quality (excellent in Hyundai and Kia) and most importantly interior…. Whenever I get in my car I feel it’s worth the money….. in my opinion you should choose from Alcazar or seltos both are good!

@motoroctane - Not Sure my Friend Rachit why you Favour XUV700 the most (not only in this Video - In Previous Videos as well - Maybe cause of self ownership 😅) Jokes apart - You missed mentioning one of the biggest drawback of XUV700 - Middle raw is Fixed - Can’t move ahead and back which would have helped creating more space in last row !!
As MG is really trying to boost their Hector's sales but all means all youtube bloggers hate the car.. Please don't do this bcoz you know it has all the premiumness more than your XUV700 AWD.
yeah there can be that bias like the fact in terms of max kneeroom in 2nd row the alcazars driver seat wasn't in its minimum legroom but for the xuv700 the drivers seat was fully ahead.
Pta ni aap MG Hector ko lekr itne biased kyu ho? Even sbhi video me dekh rhe, reverse camera picture quality of XUV 700 specially in Night is worst in segment and Mg has better than that and you were praising XUV 700. Totally Biased Review😵💫😵💫

the fuel efficiency on the turbo petrol is:

for 5 ft 4 inches the third row will have sufficient enough space.
@skgamer-zs6en waaaow...thank u so much sir ...u hav given a beautiful analytical reasoning n advice ..thank u so much sir
@@Andrewtate791brownbuggati thank u so much sir...I agree with u...I hav a small family..v r four...wife n two school going kids out of whom one is going to b in 9th...n this car will b with me for next 12 to 14 years for sure...so many features in seltos n alcazar r very useful...I agree that Hycross is big but totally plain in terms of facilities...I can wait a bit till facelift of carens is released so that I get a better comparison and any thng above 25lakh is premium..all these cars reach that price range..let's c ..dont you think so sir...thank u sir
@@peterpaul765 welcome if you have time to wait for Caren’s Facelift then that’s great in that case just go for Caren’s facelift it will be better than Alcazar then! Good luck with your purchase…..
Applaud to your hard work 🎉
@motoroctane - Not Sure my Friend Rachit why you Favour XUV700 the most (not only in this Video - In Previous Videos as well - Maybe cause of self ownership 😅)
Jokes apart - You missed mentioning one of the biggest drawback of XUV700 - Middle raw is Fixed - Can’t move ahead and back which would have helped creating more space in last row !!
Thank you very much
Don't understand tata notinnovating it's design like mahindra
Bro please suggest dash cam for xuv700 without violating car warranty
46:05 yes you are right there is problems in front
Thank you Motoroctane🤝😊... Very informative 🙂
Sir plz give us a video on tata altroz xz plus s lux dark edition in diesel
There is no video yet on TH-cam for this model
Before innova used to be the segment leader and THE best with its best ride quality and suspension, but it's lacking behind
Is it sensible to buy crysta in 2024?
Pro Mahindra... I will go for safari bro.
Innova crysta and innova hycross are best under 40 lacks
Thank You❤❤❤❤😊
Alcazar is best
Please also do comparison on top cng hatchbank and top cng suv etc, thanks
I am confuse to buy in Innova crysta and xuv 700 pls help me out
Xuv is best😊😊
@ jus ask u why?
4:22 one thing that i have seen in specifically xuv 700 that the rear badging of XUV and AX7L are kind of withering out. Seems like a quality issue.
Tata safari overall best. Best mileage also
XUV better in every aspect
I owned Harrier and MG hector.. hector is best in terms of all points...
Sir now the safari gets the lane keep assist and the adaptive steering assist features
You always compare top varient.. plz compare best value for money varient of all cars
The comparo i was waiting for is now here
Aircross is missing which has best ride quality and with best suspension
When it comes to speed breaker test XUV700 and Safari both are 10/10. IMO
Superb, very informative 👍
Amazing comparo❤
As MG is really trying to boost their Hector's sales but all means all youtube bloggers hate the car.. Please don't do this bcoz you know it has all the premiumness more than your XUV700 AWD.
Given that he already owns a XUV 700, isn’t it possible that there’s a conflict of interest/Favouritism here?
yeah there can be that bias like the fact in terms of max kneeroom in 2nd row the alcazars driver seat wasn't in its minimum legroom but for the xuv700 the drivers seat was fully ahead.
15:14 In my opinion Alcazar's Door Thud sounds way better than xuv 700 but still i don't know why they gave the xuv a 9/10 ? and alcazar 7/10 ?
Scorpio N could have been also added ...
Xuv700 is better
Safari 4x4 is most needed for hard ride in snow
Xuv700 is the best product of mahindra 🔥
after market alag se framless wipers lagva sakte hai kya ?
Haa bhai mera scorpio classic mai laga hai
Mahindra octane kitni bhi MAHINDRA XUV ki tareef kare but MG HECTOR PLUS TOP MODEL is best
Why are you doing these comparisons just say XUV 700 we are promoting.
The electronics of Mahindra is still struggling. Any reason it was not mentioned?
Na - not in 700. If you have - just update your software
Rachit sir is there will be spare tyre in new Dzire cng
Awesome Sir 😍😍
