I have my Virtus 1.0 MT Topline. Drove 13000 km in 1 year from Pune- Siliguri to and fro. Drove in hills of Sikkim-Darjeeling-Guwahati no issues in engine. Its a BEAST !!!! missing my machine went for 15k km servicing...in Pune now!! beast is getting ready for next trip!!
The virtus is definitely better exterior design wise & the slavia has better dashboard design & interior. Also the ac unit of virtus is definitely better than the slavia in terms of cooling. Virtus has a slight edge & more sporty feel to it....i can say this as i have both the cars. Must say great review which was much needed by lots of people. Keep up the gud work.

I love my Kushaq 1.0 AT Style and I’ve never encountered lag, it’s surreal. There are manual shifters behind steering wheel which I use often only to move from 1st to 2nd gear as I feel it is too long by default as 1st gear is only to displace the vehicle from stop. I love Virtus for sedan and Kushaq for SUV. In the crowded city like Pune, it’s very difficult to get parking for a long vehicle and also building car parks have limited space, that was my main reason to chose Kushaq over Virtus but I love them both. Great comparison as always.

At least this time slavia n virtus have some distinct yet subjective looks n features which I believe earlier was a even tough job to choose one from a vento n the rapid. One point that will always play in my mind is the downgrade of interior plastics which is very evident for me as I still own a vento that was a CKD product n later vento started being produced in India completely. Trust me the built quality in the inside is a no match to these two cars n was only similar to a bmw or Audi n even some mercedes of that time.
No one talk about suspension tunning. Slavia better in suspension than virtus. Virtus is more on stiffer side. While virtus engine tunning is better than slavia. Slavia have some what engine noise in cabin than virtus when speedup.
I trusted the reviews and videos and bought the car and soon after buying new car my harassment started DO NOT recommend this car or any Skoda car as this creates trust issues with brand and product ======== I have sent an email with all details to Skoda and no action has been done by Skoda so far. Here are my critical issues: 1) Why was the car sold on 17th May 2024 with defect & it failed to reach home post-delivery? 2) On 18th May 2024, the car had transmission noise and AC issues. Why was I not informed of these defects? 3) Why were the AC and transmission problems present in a brand-new car? What was done during PDI? 4) Why was the car reported again on 26th May for the same issues? What repairs were made on 18th May? 5) The car was reported on 5th July and again on 16th July with unresolved issues. Why were these repairs ineffective? 6) After 60 days and five repair attempts, why was it only discovered on 16th July that the car has a manufacturing defect? 7) Why has the transmission system and AC unit not been replaced yet? 8) Why am I being asked to come in for a sixth repair instead of receiving a replacement or effective resolution? This ongoing issue has caused significant stress and disappointment. I expect a senior representative to handle this matter promptly. I am not interested in further repair attempts. These two owners don't know the flavour of sedan. They have not experienced a real mid size sedan like Octavia,superb and it's comfort,they told that their choice was Vitara and safari. Secondly they don't have choice of quality. A person's whose choice was a Tata suddenly shifted to legendary brand of Skoda. Both are contradictory choice.
Or he discovered something special after driving a Škoda. How can you be so hell bent to assume the worse. Most people in India only go for Maruti, Hyundai. But like the owner said, once he drove a Škoda, everything else felt useless. And that’s something important. Service men said, if the car gives more than 15 then it's running best. In city, it gives not more than 10 that to after driving for atleast 7 to 8 kms. I agree that mileage is worst

@sheena1326 You'll always find one or two specific models available. Usually people cancel their bookings, bank loans don't come through or some other issues due to which the car gets stuck with the dealer. Negotiate much and you'll get a good discount too on these cars.
i Think mostly due to the fact that people were scared and weren't trusting Vag2.0 strategy of Made in India here, and to compliment that fear the initial Vag2.0 cars that these guys produced had some faults, quality issues with interior fit out etc., Which in turn reduced the sales, while the VAG guys thought made in India trend would work. Also I would compliment their planning , heard from the showroom guy that, they produce cars to the yard in batches for every 3months they get a new batch. And many old batch cars were still available . I had the option to chose between 2022 variant and also jan 2023 variant. the discount was a bit less , but jan 2023 had the variant and the colour i was looking for. I booked the car by30rth of Jan, and I got my Slavia 1.0MT NSR variant by 9th of FEB, It was actually ready by 3rd, 4th of FEB, but I couldn't plan the delivery till 9th since i was busy.
Itna bura haal hai slavia ka itna discount dete hai showroom wale aap lo sae bas infact just now i visitef showroom and they had November 2022 slavia style 1.5 unsold model with more than 2 lakh discount and 2023 models with 1 lakh or more discount clearly they dont sell much dey dont have much reliability hence so much discounts. Also thr power in slavia 1.0 is not good at all. Think 100 times before considering them.

It would have been nice to get some feedback about the audio system. I believe Slavia offers a sub woofer and the sound quality is better.

It does not matter to drive with 5 + luggage in either virtus or slavia with 1.0 tsi engine

Get a remap. Code 6 remap takes 1.0 tsi to 140 bhp and 240 nm, also improves the throttle response. Much better driving experience.

Itna bura haal hai slavia ka itna discount dete hai showroom wale aap lo sae bas infact just now i visitef showroom and they had November 2022 slavia style 1.5 unsold model with more than 2 lakh discount and 2023 models with 1 lakh or more discount clearly they dont sell much dey dont have much reliability hence so much discounts. Also thr power in slavia 1.0 is not good at all. Think 100 times before considering them.
