You are making a reality show out of this. You have lost the concept of empathy, as you are no longer aware of what you are doing. When we look at you or other countries that are not in the USA, we think and wonder if this is entertainment or real life, we can't believe how much you are doing a show and how much you have no empathy. You are mis-using the term Ex-boyfriend. Ex is used when the relationship was broken off before the murder. Because they were together at the time of the murder, the appropriate term is boyfriend; otherwise, it sounds like they were broken up at the time of the murder. They were not.
I pray that they are able to prosecute every single person who left these 5 children motherless, a distraught dad murdered because he wanted to find his daughter and a Mother devastated from losing her husband and daughter. Praying for this family and I pray her Mom get's custody of the child from this relationship.

Brooks, the husband has been arrested with a very high cash bond. I hope he gets the death penalty, if not, life with no parole! I’ve been following this case! Crystal seemed like a very loving mother and kind lady. My heart breaks for her children and mother. That slime ball wouldn’t even buy groceries for Crystal’s children, he only bought them for him and his son. I hope her mother gets custody of the little boy if she’s able to care for him. If the FBI had not gotten involved, Brooks would never had been arrested because he was a deputy sheriff. That other guy, Lawson is believed to have helped Brooks hide her body! 😡😡. Crystal’s dad was murdered while he took his young grandson hunting. Evil! 😡😡

The other guy they arrested looks like a drug addict! I think Brooks called his employee's dirtbag son to help him. He probably did dirty "work" for him before so he wouldn't get his hands dirty. Tommy Ballard probably stumbled on the drug connection, because of the meth-head arrested, and was killed for it. Maybe he threatened them because of Crystal? Brooks seems arrogant and patience has finally paid off! His character was revealed in the way he discounted Crystal's other children.

Whoever made the decision to cut that poor boy from his grandparents should be locked up. This part of the story bothers me the most, because all the other horrendous things were committed by a criminal(s) but this one was committed by a JUDGE who suppose to deliver justice.

Suzanne Morphew’s body was found, also. I hope her husband gets life with no parole. Such evil murders. She had inherited a large sum of money from her parents. I think his construction business wasn’t doing well so he killed her over greed! 😡😡. So glad the former deputy Brooks has been arrested for Crystal’s murder! His arrogance is infuriating! If the FBI had not gotten involved I doubt he’d ever been arrested because of law enforcement connections with that family.

The pain this man caused Crystal’s family, when he could have just broken off the relationship. They weren’t married. He would have only had to pay support for one child, but no, he thought killing his son’s mom was a better option. Then, when Crystal’s dad’s persisted to get answers, he decided to kill him too.

I have always believed that the FIVE unsolved murders in Bardstown, KY [ Officer Jason Ellis, Crystal Rogers, Tommy Ballard, and Kathy & Samantha Netherland ] are related.
Thank you for mentioning the Neverland's too! People usually remember Jason and Crystal/Tommy but there was so little coverage on the mom and daughter. I live 10 mins away and everyone I've spoken to have agreed they are all tied together. Something bigger was going on and those who lost their lives must have accidentally saw or wound up knowing too much information on what someone has been hiding. The fact that Brooks admitted to having a burn pile the last night with crystal, the night he said they took a walk on the farm late and when it was supposedly raining. I couldn't see anyone believe a thing that comes out of his mouth. I haven't heard anything on Brooks lately but wonder if he's still hooked up with the other girl "Crystal" the one who was arrested taking Rogers signs down around town. Such a wild terribly sad case. I hope Sherry is finally getting the case solved she's such a beautiful woman. Her highschool sweetheart her one and only and her baby girl....plus losing Eli as well because Brooks wanting to keep him away from his grandma. 😢

@@alicetoyou448 I live 30 mins from Bardstown, KY. There is an element of an organized criminal group that runs through the manner in which all of these crimes were committed. I believe Brooks and Nick are part of that group....I believe it is narcotic trafficking. The murders of Kathy (school teacher) and her daughter Samantha (16 yr old high school student) were extremely brutal. The landline to the home phone was cut and it's believed a cell phone jammer was also used.

It’s not like an episode of Law and Order Investigations can take time . LA need enough evidence to charge someone and if they do this too early with not enough evidence a murderer can be found not guilty. Unfortunately they have not found Chrystal which doesn’t help.

I had to pull the car over and double check I read the headline correctly.. I have been following this story since she went missing and knew this day would finally come god is good! Justice for crystal!!!!!!!!
Everybody who helped him needs to be arrested, too. His brother, his mom, and grandma. They should also be charged in the murder of Tommy Ballard. They also ambushed and killed a fellow officer by placing a branch in the road and lying in wait. They waited for him to get out of his vehicle, and they shot him. I think he had some knowledge of Crystal or Tommy's muder.
That would be very unlikely. The reason being, the ambush murder of the K9 Officer was the first murder to take place out of the several murders (& possible murders) that occurred within a relatively short time period in a relative close proximity that are known collectively as "The Bardstown Murders".

This girl above saying that they had killed Officer Ellis because he had knowledge about the deaths of Tommy and Krystal? Great theory, if Ellis was maybe in the new "Pre-Crime Division" ! But I don't think they have that in Kentucky yet. Brooks is obviously responsible for the death of his girlfriend Krystal. Though he will still need to be proven guilty or plead guilty for that to be affirmed. His brother was maybe an accessory after the fact. Again we need more information. Damn near all the rest is wild speculation, malicious rumours, and small town gossip gone national.
Hopefully they will find solid evidence to put him away and anyone else involved in this case. Since they don't have a body I hope they find all they can.

I am praying that Crystal and her family find peace and they all get justice. I hope this guy tells them where her body was dumped; she deserves to come home to her loved ones. He doesn't seem the type that would, however. Narcissistic sociopath that he is.
Oh, and I hope her mother is now able to get access to her grandson. Clearly Houck's connections also helped him with that, because why on earth would her grandmother be completely denied?

What a terrible set of tragedies this family has endured. I hope that justice and answers are found. It will not change their losses but I hope they garner some hope from the balance finally tipping the other way after all these years.
All I renember is the pure arrogance of her murderer. That mug shot says it all.The devistsion of her child's soul knowing what zas done to their another by the one person who's duty it is to care and keep them safe. I wish all the strength love and healing possible to come the childs way and of course Crystals fsnilly and loved ones.
Both brothers have alway been arrogant, IMO.
