The Karen-Cult is a group of nutballs! You people have tunnel vision. I knew nothing of this case until I started watching it on Court Tv. You are biased and impartial before hearing all the facts of the case. Do you no nothing about the law? You would never be picked as a juror in this case because of your “so-called knowledge” and “ in-depth research” of the case before even hearing all the facts on both sides. Her little eye-roll & snapping at her attorney in front of a court room speaks volumes about her quick temperament. Wow! That tells me a lot right there! She is not a celebrity or Rock Star! Someone died. He is the victim, NOT her. The supporters are a bunch of Karens and paid PR. She plans on making a lot of money off of this. I bet she has interviews in place and a book deal. Profiting off your dead boyfriend. So sad! Shame on her and all of the paid PR without morals! Justice will probably not be served in this case because of people like you trying to sway public opinion before all the facts are revealed. I haven’t even heard enough to decide if she is guilty or innocent. I just know that after hearing the facts so far, she probably accidentally hit him because she was drunk. Maybe she blacked out and honestly doesn’t remember? I think because of all the drinking it doesn’t look good for anyone that night. She needs to respect the fact someone died, and she should not be giving out her autographs prematurely!

And then apologized to her right then in court. But no, we must let the public remain naive or in denial - their choice - because no PD anywhere would dare officially admit it.
Losing loved ones to illness is bad enough, but to lose them through violence has to be impossible to deal with. 😔

I know from personal experience that it is a completely different kind of grief, it hits in a way I cant even describe and the people around you unconsciously distance themselves because on a subconscious level it feels like if they get to close it could happen to them as if it was contagious somehow. It's not something they are even aware of but it makes you feel as though you are a member of a very exclusive club that NOBODY want to be a member of! It's very isolating in some ways and hurts in ways that arent the same as grief from losing a loved one even if it was unexpected.

Moving him to different unit on PD to keep him safe or safer. Different areas of police work have less risk for danger. Like working gang unit is higher risk for violence for cop vs maybe online internet crimes. So the risk of being killed in relation to work would be reduced. His brother said they did that to keep him safer so he could raise his niece and nephew after losing his sister and brother in law.

How terribly sad that his sister, brother and brother-in-law all pass. Two kids orphaned twice, once by their parents and then by John's death. Very sad! This brother is obviously still mourning such incredible family losses!
So sad!! These kids have so much trauma to work through. My late husband died when my kids were all school age. It was a lot for them to work through, but then to lose ANOTHER loved one so tragically?!! TRAGIC.

The officers on scene did a horrible disservice to officer O’keefe. If she really confessed like their revised version stated. You know darn well. She isn’t free to leave the area should be tapped off. And you wake up the owner of that property immediately. Something is so off about this whole thing. Trust me if that ever happens in anyone’s front yard they are banging on doors and asking for cameras from home owner and neighbors.
It’s almost as if they botched it all on purpose. For what? Makes no sense for them to do all this ridiculousness if they all believed Karen did it.

I just watched Boston police shooting. Tape everywhere, scene markers, road closed off. I can not understand why even a small part of that was enacted. If she did hit him which I doubt the cops have given her reasonable doubt every thing is so messed up.

It's dispicable to use deceased siblings to garner sympathy and make the accused pay for something they had nothing to do with it. I appreciate your comment because I have a background full of tragedies and I never speak of it nor do I allow others to do it on my behalf either. This was low of the prosecution to do this.

She might have done what the prosecution claims, but they have not proved their case beyond a. Reasonable doubt. I actually do not believe she hit him at all and is completely innocent. Even if I'm wrong and she actually did mow him down, I don't believe the just will find her guilty. So many examples out there of detectives and prosecutors not investigating or doing their job properly. One example-Casey Anthony. She walked because the prosecution did a piss poor job . Not only do I believe not guilty is the only reasonable verdict a jury could possibly come up, after watching all the testimony, I went from thinking "She's probably Guilty" to heck no! This girl is innocent of all charges. This is when the prosecution was still presenting their case. So if she is guilty, if she actually did what the DA says she did.. they did a terrible job proving it.

I haven’t heard much about this case so I don’t really have a opinion on who I think did it but it broke my heart hearing that he was the only sibling out of 3 that was still alive. The parents and him have suffered such great loss.
He’s obviously an intelligent man with a excellent memory. Any errors of his memory in time is only minimal.

The prosecutor saying “What if any” as a lead in to almost every question is so bad. Dudes awful, defense attorney is really shining in this for me. So much reasonable doubt, I hope the verdict is not guilty.

Defense is a bunch of clowns. Littles voice was quivering when questioning the witness. Calling relatives "friends", and harassment of witnesses. Trying to make witnesses confess to their incredible fabricated outlandish story. AND OMG, what a joke when trying to say Kaitlyn purjured herself...love that the witnesses aren't being persuaded or intimadated by the clowns, they stand their ground by the truth. Defense needs to look up definition of friend and acquaintance. Idiots.

I really don't think that Karen Read killed your brother though. Of course, that is just my opinion. There is so much reasonable doubt that I'm shocked that it's even going to trial. The state is wasting a lot of taxpayers money to blame and convict someone that even if, she did hit him, it would've been an accident. But, don't get me wrong, I don't believe that she had anything to do with what happened to John and I'm quite intuitive.
There are so many people lying within and around the Albert's family, it just doesn't make sense! And, they need to investigate that department and the people they are involved with it.

My Heart breaks for John and his family, i truly believe karen didn't kill John. Something has always been fishy from the start about this case, and it's leaning more on the prosecution side than the defence. The state fkd up! They didnt do a half decent investigation from the start! Plus, the judge is being TOTALLY inappropriate throughout this whole trial so far!! Asking if the prosecution is going to object to the defence questions, asking if its inappropriate to do certain things in HER COURT ROOM, and rushing the defence but letting the state talk freely is just a JOKE!!

Upon first sight of the picture of the injuries on John’s arm it was obvious that those injuries did not occur from being knocked down by a car in the snow. I googled police dog bite images and I must say, I definitely believe that the injuries on his arm are from the Albert German Shepherd. One image was almost identical.
And cops dogs are trained to go for the arms.
I agree. I watched a dog trainer of police dogs show how they look. I also watched the Turtleboy video of how they say she did this. But it could not have happened the way they said. I applaud you!
You might want to check out a lawyer Melanie Lilly. She did the police dog bite that I watched.
Those aren't dog bites. I am a medical professional. So the German sheperd punched him in the eye leaving that goose egg also? Those are vehicular trauma abrasions. Karen is guilty.
I think John was bent down to pick up something, and she backed into him and the vehicle hit his head and the carriage underneath carried him/dragged him. That is how I believe he was killed. When he didn't return to the vehicle, she left him. She claimed "Did I hit him?" "I hit him". She knows she at least injured him, and chose to leave rather than check on him. Also loved ones don't ask "Did I hit him", usually loved ones, ask "Is he ok?", when asking DID I HIT HIM, this shows Karen is concerned about her actions, rather than John's well being. AND just to add, her behavior is court is disgusting. It goes beyond the defense telling her to be stoic.
Is here anybody who don't want to hug this guy? So heartbraking...

Because he was in a fight and the dog was after him too. The arm looks like he was flat on the floor when the dog did damage. But he may have been standing. Maybe the dog started the whole fight. Clearly the fight and blood loss were what killed him. The blood must have been in the basement. Which got dug out before being sold…

I noticed this to in another case Sebastian Rogers . He's a 16 year old who went missing about 4 months ago and the home ( parents home he lived with ) is like 700.000 and very nice wealthy neighborhood. But for some reason no cameras . Some people got some movement on cameras but youde think homes like that would have cameras everywhere. But Sebastian wasn't seen leaving the house during the night on camera but there some camera footage showing flashlights and a car in the early hours of the morning. My point is I think the mother and the stepfather had something to do with his "Disappearance" the mother works for Brinks was in the navy or marines and it's very strange how things have went with their behavior and the step fathers family . But sorry to rant but agree on the cameras .

Yeah I'd think I'd be hysterical too if my boyfriend was just found by the side of the road in that type of condition too screaming and asking the same thing. Absolutely none of this proves she's guilty.
High percentage of murders are the last one seen with the victim. Karen was last seen with John. Multiple witnesses including non police, and friends of the Alberts testified that they did not see Karen or John enter the house. Fact.

@@racquel127 actually, she was spending her money on the kids. KR not actually “good” with kids, she has stated. Buying them things kept them other occupied. JO didn’t want them spoiled and he told a friend he felt upstaged, as he didn’t have as much flexible cash as Karen.
I'm not sure what the Defense was trying to prove here. No one would dispute John was a real man, a great guardian to his niece and nephew, what was proven here? The way I see it is the people those friend's that claimed to love and care for John, might be the people that un-a-lived him. Why????????
There was NO reason to put John’s brother on the stand. As I type this, the jury is deliberating. The police absolutely stick together and would lie about what happened to John. Just because you work with them doesn’t mean they are your friends.

The sheer amount of loss this man has suffered is really excruciating painful. I know he felt that Karen was responsible - I hope he can see the truth now - merely so that he can ensure his brother gets justice. These cops and cop adjacent people need to be held responsible.

This poor family, they've been through so much. Whether she did it or not, they deserve a good clean case...not all of this other foolishness going on. What kind of justice would it be if she actually did it but got her conviction overturned, got a mistrial, or was acquitted because some of the terrible way this case has been handled? Ridiculous.
