      She is NOT an investigator. A technician does nothing more than analyze evidence. They have no stake in whether someone is found guilty or not guilty. She is not a detective.

      I think she has every right. She was directed to do things by the lead investigator/prosecution and probably thought they were doing everything properly. Now her worth ethic and morals are being questioned because she had a hand in what happened here. Her career and competence are under attack. I think she's a victim of the lead investigator(who seemed quite close to Seth Kenney in a non professional way) and the prosecutor(massive chip on her shoulder, desperate to nail Baldwin in this high profile trial she went into very confident). I don't fault her for being flustered/defensive/upset. She didn't intentionally get herself into this situation.

    It appears that the crime scene tech and whoever else decided they didn’t rate the “evidence” being bought to them by a former LEO and dismissed it. And that’s not up to them to decide. Huge mistake and the judge has made the correct call to dismiss the prosecutions case with prejudice. What a mess!

      Agreed. And I’m not even a fan of Baldwin, but even I could see that this needed a dismissal. I’m pretty certain that what happened was a horrible horrible accident that no one wanted to happen. I’m sure Baldwin has learnt many lessons regarding the importance of following SAFE PRACTICES on movie sets, and the importance of hiring QUALIFIED individuals for certain roles on set.

    There is an awful lot that this person does not recall from a case that is certainly the most important high profile case she has ever worked on - selective memory I am sure coached by the prosecutor. The judge said that there was ‘no doubt’ that the hiding of this information was deliberate - heads must roll

She is a technician that gathers whatever the investigators establish as evidence, and process it for whatever information it may be able to produce. She is a lab technician that also gathers evidence at crime scene to take back to said lab.
      Being "part of the investigation" does not make her an "investigator". You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the entire process.

    Honestly I think the prospector was terrible but it feels like the behavior of this witness only helped speed up the judges decision. It became very clear the longer she was grilled, the more defensive she became that the case was some serious railroading

      Yes! There's so much speculation, insinuation and sometimes even allegations in his questioning, its utterly crazy. Plus the judge seems to be pro-defense in this case and she is shutting down every prosecution's objection BUT denied the prosecution's key evidences that are relevant and important for the case.

      She used some very biased language in the police report that she wrote. Edit: Also, it appears she herself didn’t enter bullets and casings found on the set into evidence and said she didn’t think they were important so now the judge has dismissed the jury until Monday awaiting her decision to declare a mistrial on account of the prosecution not disclosing evidence. For a CST, she has a lot power to decide what is considered evidence and that’s usually a job of an investigator, which she absolutely was acting as even if she didn’t have the title.

      Bet she was flexing being the investigator to friends and family until the title in court invoked certain responsibilities she doesn’t want to be held responsible for 💀
