- Todays building progress of the Giga Berlin. The first cell factory column has been set up at the cell factory. Another great progress is visible all around the side buildings of the giga. Many greetings to Elke and Horst ;-)

If engineering expertise exists on a spectrum, and the FIU Pedestrian Bridge marks one end, I'm suggesting the battery building is a good marker for the opposite end.

That’s true.
Schade dass es nicht mehr möglich ist in das Innere der Gebäude durch Fenster und Türen zu schauen. Wäre recht interessant zu sehen was sich darin alles getan hat.
Ich finde es ebenfalls bedauerlich. Allerdings kann ich aus sicherer Quelle bestätigen, dass sich in den Gebäuden nicht viel getan hat. Große Teile sind immernoch leer, es ist teilweise noch nicht einmal ein Bodenplatte gegossen.

Thanks! Cars will roll out in the southern section of the hall as the general assembly is located there. After that it depends if customers pick up their car directly at the Giga or if it will be shipped from the logistics area in the north.
@@flybrandenburg Dann brauchen sie auch noch ein Gebäude für Selbstabholer (der Neuwagen), Platz ist ja noch genug. Ein Hotel für die leute die dann von Weiter her anreisen, aber da gibt es sicher irgendwo in der Nähe eins.
Am besten dann auch noch so nen Turm wie bei VW in Wolfsburg für die Neuwagen.
und noch so was wie die Autostadt von VW!
@@benjaminschneider4555 Was soll denn Tesla in einer Autostadt zeigen? Es gibt doch bisher nur 3 Modelle und eine Geschichte hat Tesla ja auch noch nicht. Da hat VW in der Autostadt mit 10 Marken und einer fast hundertjährigen Geschichte mehr zu bieten. Das soll nicht heißen, dass VW als Autobauer besser oder Tesla schlechter ist.

There will be additional expansion stages, 4 in total. The land in the north east is going to be the logistics area and there will be some infiltration basins.

William this building is going up really fast. Remember this going to be one largest factories in the world. They are doing a great job. I can't wait to see the quality of Tesla Giga Berlin. Want to see German engineering unleashed.

There might not be much progress visible from the outside but there is still a lot of work going on on the inside.
@@flybrandenburg that is true, any chance you can peek into open doors on your flybys? For example the frontage and roof around the casting area has been pretty much like that since January! I know it's the weekend, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere near the workforce seem daily at Texas. Wonder why it's taking so long

Before this may happen, they are going to use it as a tank farm for all the liquids the cars will need.

What is the latest with all the delays? Here we have a company ready to get us all off of fossil fuel driven cars, and it is environmentalists who are getting in the way? WTF is wrong with those people?

I still predict Giga Berlin won't begin full production for another 2 years.
In fact there is no delay caused by the environmentalists or bureaucracy. Please check the facts if you don’t believe. The delay was mainly caused by Tesla himself. If Tesla didn’t changed the plans like battery factory instead of storage hall and many other changes in the carfactory everything would be in time. 4 months ago Tesla decided to build up the battery factory earlier in the first step of the project. Shortly after the decision Tesla announced a 5 month delay. But even with the delay Tesla Grünheide will be with about 21 month construction time one of the fastest realized projects of this size in europe.

Der Vorfall in Australien hat wenig mit der hiesigen Batteriefabrik zu tun. Die Gefahr besteht immer, das Batterien Feuer fangen können, allerdings werden Batterien hier nur für Fahrzeuge produziert. In Australien herrschen ganz andere Bedingungen, zumal dort Megapacks stehen. Glaubst du etwa, dass Tesla einfach so Batterien produzieren darf? Definitiv nicht. Hier gilt es nämlich auch, Umwelt- und Sicherheitsauflagen einzuhalten. Falls es doch mal zum Brandfall kommen sollte, steht eine Werksfeuerwehr bereit.
Wo ist den hier bitte Natur? Man sieht auf dem Baufeld nur Celulose Plantagen bzw. Monokulturen. Das schon seit über 30 Jahren als Gewerbegebiet geplante Areal wurde nur zur Gewinnmaximierung mit Bäumen für die Papierindustrie bepflanzt. Vor Tesla wollte hier übrigens BMW im Jahr 2000 eine Automobilfabrik bauen, bis Leipzig den Zuschlag bekam.

Unter anderem standen auf dem Gelände der Stasi große Mengen an Beschlagnahmten Fahrzeugen Herum!
