I am talking about real stats, and not how you feel they have audience or not in those countries. It makes more sense to hold a concert only when their data shows that there is a good number of listeners in those countries, so that they can maximise their profit from those trips (which are very expensive to hold one). So unless you are the manager of the artists or the admin of their music streaming account (Spotify, TH-cam, melon, etc), you will not know the stats and data they have.

@@NN08 I get that, but honestly the reputation of YG boygroups in Korea has been destroyed. From Big bang to Ikon, scandals kinda of made it hard for koreans to accept them. I do get that Asia, and especially Japan, is a safer bet for YG. It would be good for them to be accepted in Korea more and internationally, but it can be hard to do and koreans fans have shown to be quite fickle (cancelling idols/groups pretty fast after a scandal). IKON never recovered their reputation in Korea (and they use to be super popular) and only survive until now with their Japanese fans. Same thing for BP, yes they are popular in Korea, but the relations of YG with other companies has shown how it affected their promotions, and awards. Treasure is super talented and great performer, and it's good to see them shine in Asia with their tour, I do think they have a olis fanbase in Korea, and clearly YG is not eager to push them internationally but it might change in the next year or so.

If they go for world tour, I bet they would attract a lot more people than it is.

Treasure has deserved so so much more from the past 4 years. They started at a rough time with Covid but now more than ever they need to branch out worldwide! Treasure deserves better. One comeback a year, barely any international promotions except in Asia, barely any promos for this new song coming out in a few days, etc. They even said they wanted more. One comeback a year is just fine, I don'y want Treasure to over work~ One comeback with full album a year+Tmap episodes+ variety shows+ world tour would be great for year plan. I don't want them to do a lot of comebacks in a year like other overworked Idols in other companies.
Why do you insist on several comebacks for a $36 tf lol iykyk on a music show with not much help of knetz on their homebase. Plus YG has Japan office - hence these are booked at least half a year and most venues are always soldout. US tour is Columbia Records' job isn't it? Why don't we tap on them? Why does most yap seems to scream the boys have no work - Uniqlo? Vogue Japan? Brand deal? Crocs? JW? Variety show guest? Aren't they work too - in the middle of their tour and alongside training for their comeback plus reporting to office with producers behind the scenes and or recording demos or polishing whatever they needed that we do not know infront of camera just to say they are working and then flying again to another country before the weekend? What do we want? Get them sick of flying and messed up body clock? Or staying in Korea with minimal support of GP because of competition? Pick a struggle. Teumes have a lot to spend as well here - a digital single won't cost that much helping us out in preparation for another album by fall. What is so wrong with this mini promotion in the middle of RebootRelay Tour?

Provided they have enough audience and a good amount of listeners in those countries that you mentioned or wish they will come. I am talking about real stats, and not how you feel they have audience or not in those countries.
It makes more sense to hold a concert only when their data shows that there is a good number of listeners in those countries, so that they can maximise their profit from those trips (which are very expensive to hold one).
So unless you are the manager of the artists or the admin of their music streaming account (Spotify, TH-cam, melon, etc), you will not know the stats and data they have.

Treasure is an active group. Literally all members can write songs. 5 members with KOMCA credits, fans willing to buy concert tix and albums. All members have no solo activities outside the group. And yet, they are just kept being sent on the same place. Literally their career is just the same cycle every year.

YG boygroups always did well in Japan and Asia and a huge fanbase in Asia can be super dedicated and buy a lot of albums/merch/concerts tickets. Its a safe bet for YG to build their popularity there, not every group end game should be the West tbh.

@@NN08 I get that, but honestly the reputation of YG boygroups in Korea has been destroyed. From Big bang to Ikon, scandals kinda of made it hard for koreans to accept them.
I do get that Asia, and especially Japan, is a safer bet for YG. It would be good for them to be accepted in Korea more and internationally, but it can be hard to do and koreans fans have shown to be quite fickle (cancelling idols/groups pretty fast after a scandal). IKON never recovered their reputation in Korea (and they use to be super popular) and only survive until now with their Japanese fans. Same thing for BP, yes they are popular in Korea, but the relations of YG with other companies has shown how it affected their promotions, and awards.
Treasure is super talented and great performer, and it's good to see them shine in Asia with their tour, I do think they have a olis fanbase in Korea, and clearly YG is not eager to push them internationally but it might change in the next year or so.

At this point i just hope yg can lower their ego and start promoting treasure just like how they did with bigbang in their early days and just like how other kpop groups normally do their promotions. Knetz sucks big time but sadly yg still need them for the newer yg gen to stay relevant & gaining int popularity is good but to have solid foundation in their home country is crucial too (like SM artists)

@caratsarecarating Nope, it is easily easy for that guy to promote them. Trust me but that guy is stingy as heck. There are many intl fans out there for TREASURE. Myself included. You won't believe it but most of us US and european teumes travel to japan or other asian countries to attend their concert. It is not that easy to travel long distances so try to understand that. If they go for world tour, I bet they would attract a lot more people than it is.
A smaller company is able to give their groups multiple comebacks and send them on world tours. So what is YG's excuse?
