Do people understand how god damn painful it gets to drag that screet board all day on a 10k sqft pour. It f'ing sucks. Im never doing concrete again. I have a lot of respect for anyone who does.

Anybody who knows this trade...and I do mean the real masons, not the wannabes, know with this kind of job site,You do what you can.Somedays are better then others, somedays you get more help then others. Its rough and it’s all heart that gets you through the day.NOT one person is the best!!!Its a team effort always, sometimes you don’t get the best product, but like a battle, you try,you learn, then if you have to ,you lick your wounds and try again another day .!!!

Incredible how strong concrete is. One moment it’s fluid and the other moment it holds a 100+ meter building up.

I started out doing manual labor. Whellbarrow, digging, mixing. Hardest work i ever did in my life. Make's a man out of a young punk. I've been going for 3 years strong now im 27 i still have along way to go.

stefone james agreed brother. It definitely made a man of me. I was a young punk and my neighbor put me on some concrete work( forming and Sawing and core cutting and pour back) it made me into a man and I'm also now 27. I live down south in Texas. We don't have any u ions down here so there's a ton of illegal cheap labor being done. Cash operations etc. stay safe my friends. Keep Calm, Pour On!

I guess I'm the only person that says the pump guy did a great job getting that hose through the window without tearing up the place. I've pumped mud for 14 years. Love seeing a gravy day at the office.

Thanks for posting this. Coming from New York City, watching many a high-rise go up, I have always wanted to see the action up on the working deck when the floor slab was being poured. Can't see this from the ground. This video was instructional as to how it's done. It's a labor-intensive process, with skilled workers screeding, floating and troweling. I'll bet those hard workers go home tired after a day of pouring. Terrific video!!

I was a Superintendent, I have seen and walked on alot of Concrete. I can tell you this, This is a excellent flat work crew, I suspect they do it all. The pumper operator 👍 the rakers were Fantastic 👏 the guys on screeds have great eyes 👀 The rakers get serious props because I didn't see more than 3/4" of mud behind the screed. The finishers look top notch as well. Respect boys keep up the good work. Loose that Turner Hivis vest.

amazing video ! inspire me a lot ! I saw the columns contain so many steel reins, but notice that the floor didn't have much steel reins in it. here i have a question: did i miss some procedures or the floor do have less steel rein? the floor seems like 4-5 inch thick.

We do it here in LA basically the same way. 15k sf deck a 24 col on avg a core on a 5 day cycle. Pour at 80 to 100cy per hour poured out in 4 hours. Drop columns and pour those too. We stopped taking the core up ahead for the most part. So we catch that too. Done!done!lets go 50+ stories all day long. Only difference is we work in the sun.
    Good job!

How did you get the boom pump confined in the opening? Why are you using that thing to screed? My screed has a spirit level on the handle. I like how the slabs getting done in sections I can see the forms. If its done in sections it will cure unevenly that's why the colour changes. I don't have a problem with the look of the column timber but I've had a column accident and that shit is leaning. I was doing a course. I suggested that they use a scaffold system on formwork columns.
