- Todays building progress of the Giga Berlin. The assembly of the pipe bridge has begun. The battery factory is making a good progress as well.

@@mark5338 in the "Gigafactory Berlin 150,000 Model 3 and Model Y are to be built annually from summer 2021" This is an article from a well-known German newspaper. They might prioritize Model y, but Model 3 will definitely be built there too.

There is almost no work in Germany on Sundays. The video was recorded in the morning.
American company on American soil vs American company on German soil (and producing superior next generation automobiles that is taking customers away from Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche.)
One of the biggest concrete pours of recent engineering memory -- setting all kinds of records for the largest monoslab foundation -- within the last 10 days? Those are same damn productive ghosts.
How many workers are working in Austin on a sunday morning ? Ghost town in Austin? Always the same stupid comments complaining the low activity on the construction site on a sunday morning. It´s getting really boring! By the way I am 100% sure Giga Berlin will kicking Austin‘s butt as for production quality.

Don't you just love the way Tesla cracks on with the job, despite the best efforts of the bureaocrats, pen pushers and environmentalists to slow them down.
It’s actually hard to do something against them. I think Tesla is giving their best to get forward.
Fake environmentalists with dodgy sponsorship. Real environmentalists know that we need to kick fossil fuels this decade. Cheap batteries (grid storage as well as traction batteries), as championed by Tesla, are the closest thing we have to a silver bullet to achieve this. Economics will drive the switch.
This construction progress should be part of a documentary showing the effects of government bureaucracy, obstructive politics and a fully unionized work force. They may know what they are doing but no one is in any hurry to get it done. Need to drive some stakes to see if anything is moving!! I am embarrassed for Germany.

Unfortunately, I think it'll be summer 2022 before any Tesla rolls out of that factory..
We will see when the factory is ready.
@@flybrandenburg unfortunately I think it not a case of when the factory is ready but when permits are issued. I suspect the factory is probably ready for Y production within a week or two, but no expectation of permit in the foreseeable future.

Is there any dates when the factory will be fully operational? By the looks of this video I'd say it wont be at least for another 4 months.
I can only refer on Tesla. They say it will open by the end of the year.

This project is massive Germany is not holding anything against them, it might take some time to finish it up, X Germany the land of ideals... More fire Germany 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 The country thT thinks about the future generations...

I hope it will. There aren’t any exact dates, only that Tesla states it will be ready by the end of the year.
why is no-one getting close enough to get a good view of the '3rd' giga press? with the shadowing in building its impossible to tell

It seems more like Tesla really wants to hide the progress on the inside. You may have a look on the Q2 report, there are only two images from the inside shown in comparison to previous reports.

@ Nikola Tesla … speed is not everything … I don’t know why people want to see a huge project like a GF must be finished in 6 months or one year? People should be realistic about projects like that there are many obstacles to overcome and even then people ( mostly have no idea about construction ) are talking BS about the speed. it’s more important that the factory goes online at same point. And Tesla can then sale steadily all the produced cars after the first hype. That is more important in the long run not how fast they build it.

It was recorded on Sunday. On Sunday is almost no work in Germany.
No workers and no visible progress since last few videos...
you know the pilots usually fly the drones at evenings or early mornigs when there are almost no workers on site, right? and most progress is in the inside where the drones aren't allowed to film
The work is more focused on the inside at the main building although there is progress at the battery factory.
Work on a project like this goes on 24/7, for some reason know one is working.
@@oldmill322 here in europe we ahve something called laws and regulations that state the working hours and in germany they are stricter than other countries, they have tighter regulations about the working hours, not like in the US that they work 24/7
I always think since weeks - why they not finish some Truck Dockingstations - when production starts they will need them....
