Kalchatti or soap stone vessels can be used for any kind of cooking. But they are usually very heavy and should be handled with care. They are also very fragile in nature and can crack when dropped down or when cold water is poured on a hot pan.

Bronze? Can we use Bronze?
Hi, bronze utensils are basically made up of copper (90%) and tin. Cooking acidic foods in bronze should be avoided.
Moreover maintenance of bronze vessels (washing and post washing) should be done perfectly or can lead to corrosion by formation of a green layer of copper oxide on the vessel. Selective non acidic foods can be cooked in bronze if maintained properly.

Triply vessels?
Hi, triply cookware is usually made up of three layers of metals sandwiched together. The inner and the outermost layers are made up of stainless steel and the middle layer is made up of aluminium.
The usage for cooking is similar to stainless steel vessels except for more heat distribution and durability.
When the aluminium beneath the stainless steel is exposed, this should be thrown away.
And moreover triply vessels are costly when compared to stainless steel vessels.
