always nice to see that a guy like Zack worked on this beautiful Bike! The owner/winner will have alot of fun in the future on this high quality Bike! At least my wish would be a guy like Zack in my Racing Team!
Waited patiently at work today to get home and watch this. 2 power commanders on 1 bike, didn't even know that was possible! I'm so getting one of those hats too. Thanks Ib!
Excellent video of a PC fuel programmer and Auto tuner install, my experience with PC/Auto tune set up to build a map wasn't a good one. I installed the same set up less the secondary injectors controller on my 08 gsxr 600 track bike with an Arrow ti full exhaust system which was Dyno tuned professionally and had a sweet map but figured by adding an auto tuner to build a real world map on the fly while riding around a road race track would make the base map even better, after downloading the trim values the Auto Tuner was creating over a three month period approximately 12 track days the bike was losing acceleration and starting to smoke more and more especially closing the throttle on deceleration. My buddy I race with mentioned the smoking issue to me a few times as he was following me around the track and noticed it was getting worse, motor was running fine and had no issue so I figured it was a fuel mapping issue as I was getting a lot of black soot build up at the exhaust exit, broke out my laptop while at the track and downloaded my original dyno map that I had saved which was spot on across the board at 13.2 A/F ratio, problem solved, the smoke issue cleared up after two 20 minute track sessions and acceleration returned to normal instantly. I went back to the dyno with the map I uploaded to my lap top from the PC5 the Auto Tuner created over that three month period and the bike A/F was way rich everywhere even though the Auto Tuner was set to 13.2 A/f ratio. I was warned about this problem from a friend of mine that coincidentally had a 2012 BMW S1000rr running a full Akrapovic exhaust system that had the same issue and ended up disconnecting the Auto Tuner and getting the bike dyno tuned. The problem I believe is where the O2 bung was located on both our exhaust systems, it was located too close to muffler instead of closer to where the header pipes come together causing the A/F to be inaccurate creating rich trim values to be collected even though the both of our auto tuners were set to an A/F of 13.2. It would be interesting experiment with this bike to see what map that Auto Tuner creates with the A/F ratio set to 13.2 after a few months, then take the bike to the dyno to see what the actual A/F ratio of the created map is, then have the bike dyno tuned for an overall map comparison, my bet is the tuners map wins. I've owned lots of motorcycles and spent many hours in dyno tuning sessions and after my experience with the Auto Tuner it just reinforced my opinion that bringing your bike to a good dyno tuner is the way to go, I know Power Commander may be a sponsor in this project and I'm not bashing them as I still use the PC5 but the Auto Tuner has issues, can't be a coincidence that we both had the same problem, people pay good money for these products and if O2 bung location is that critical is should be noted in the instructions. Anyone else have a similar experience? Just curious.....
On Euro4 bikes you will only be able to adjust fueling outside of the stock ECU’s closed loop area. The wideband O2 sensor that is supplied with Auto-tune is not intended to replace any stock O2 sensors that might be on a bike. The wideband sensor needs to be added to the exhaust by cutting and welding the supplied weld boss. Auto-tune needs to be completely disabled at 0%-20% throttle by specifying a Target AFR value of zero in that area. Euro4 OEM ECU requires O2 Sensors to stay in and operational. PCV wants them disconnected hence the fault
Cr500 Kev you do realise that one must disconnect the o2 sensor for a pc5 to work in the first place? This is the case even on the 15-16 s1k and previous generation.
Trouble with flashes, half the tuners that do them are useless. Myself and friends have had many problems with ecu flashes over the years. I think bikes always ride better with a PC tune. Just a shame you have to flash sometimes to remove the ECU restrictions
Zach, you are amazing. I am really particular, and your knowledge and attention to detail is inspiring. If you were near me, you would be my BMW tech (but sorry, I am a Ducati guy!). Such a great episode!!
Hey Ib! I can't wait to see it back on the dyno. That bike is amazing. I love those 650ib hats! I have to get one! Great Video as always. Thanks Zack, for all that knowledge. My head hurts! 😂😂 Zack is the best!
you have to calibrate the throttle position sensor so when the throttle is closed, pcv software reads 0% and when WOT reads 100%. this step is very important
Awesome vid 650ib...hope the bike fly and make more than 200bhp...Zack tks for the tips ...hope 650ib can do live for the Q & A with Zack to talk abt diff bikes regarding the modification ...tks
I keep forgetting about the time difference. You're gonna make me wait a whole week?! haha do you by chance know the release day for the bike here in the states?
Some quick questions: 1. Has this bike been ecu flashed at the time of filming this video? 2. Without an ecu flash, would the bike throw error codes and a check engine light when the stock O2 sensors are disconnected? If yes then how do you get around that? 3. What do you think about the bren tune stage 1 and 2, drivability and smoothness wise? I'm asking because I'm planning to do a similar setup to my 2016 s1000. Thank you very much and I love your videos!
I changed spark plugs and air filter but still same. I contacted obd and we find 3 fouls. 1. Exhaust gas throttle actuator 2. Exhaust flap actuator 3. Throttle valve adjustment control motor After deleting fouls bike was like a new for one day and then it happened the same.
I ahould be gettin some zzz but i just caught the headline of this vid but i didnt watch it yet..A good flash responds quicker than a pc deal..Extra connections means possible extra issues to..Personally i preferr the woolich kit..
Zach is one great mechanic...why not get the ECU flashed by Brentuning instead of farting around w/ PC s....Nonbody uses PC anymore..most use Tune ECU..although unsure if they offer BMW maps... I mean you should get it custom mapped with the cam change anyway..Don''t forget to add some TEETH to the rear sporx on take one off the CS...
Great video! You mentioned that you covered blocking the pair valve in a previous series but I cannot find this anywhere. Could you kindly supply a link?
Hi ib At 3mins 36 seconds Zach mentions that he covered blocking off the PAIR valve in a previous video with Brock. Can you please add the link for this as it is not covered on the link you have added. Thanks again and we love your work here in the U.K. :-)
650 thoughts on the autotune from experience and talking with tuners? Hard to find a reliable review most reviews are sponsored or they have no idea what they are talking about.
I just got a S1000r 2014 after i bought it i had no problems whatsoever after 150 km since in possession of the bike it is Jerky/hesitating/surging or something when i drive relax around 50-60 km/h in second gear stable around 4k rpm it sometimes feels like its stuck in its RPM and it feels like it doesn't want to go some kind of LAG its stuttering a bit and after that i get full power its kinda scary almost when driving relax and it start stuttering and you lose power and then Boom full power so you almost throw over the bike..

650ib Thanks for getting back this is Shawn from NYC I’m always running in to you. Like the Manhattan BMW first release of the HP. I got that 2011 S1000RR with that chrome paint job i told you about with airbrush hi you. I have some questions on tuning my 2016 S1000RR so shoot me a email or something to contact you and zack
my mate had a hayabusa with a full pipe and power comander. his bike would start wheelstanding at 4 thousand rpm in 1st gear ..and my stock hayabusa would start wheelstanding at 6 thousand rpm.. will a full pipe and power comander lower the revs on my s1000rr and make it wheelstand at 3 insted of 5 thousand rpm. ???
hi, thanks for your video. it is grate! i have a question need your help. My bike is 2017' S1000RR and i got akrapovic racing full exhaust system on with servo cable disconnected and lamda sensors removed. after i install power commander V/ SFM/auto tune and auto tune replace OEM lamda sensor, it well shows fault code. but after i re-plug in OEM lamda sensor, the fault code will turn off. but it is wrong due to auto tune should't work with OEM lamda sensor. just want to know how to solve it? many thanks.
Zack is the most skilled & friendly mechanic I've ever seen. Period
I agree 💯
Zackary's Great work on the wiring installation, demonstrations of expertise on motocycle electrical.

Another great videos 650ib! Zach is the fucking man! He should be head of a performance race team!
How can there be any thumbs down on such an interesting and informative video? I watched it twice!!
Thanks so much Brad!
That was really interesting! Also Zack explained it in such a calm and nice matter - I love it! Thanks very much for filming this
Thanks for watching
Zack is seriously such an impressive mechanic! Great work guys! Awesome filming Ib! Love the views you provide us.
You need to give Zak the bike he's done a lot of work on the bike and give the winer a different bike it would be a nice gift for him
Cant wait for the dyno run
That O2 sensor looks almost industrial, quite insane.
Great vid guys!! One tip add a little dielectric grease after you solder to ensure watertight and corrosion resistance! Thx for sharing!

MrJayjay0420 correct but throws up faults on the Euro 4 bike. It’s not designed for the euro 4 bikes.
Zach is awesome man, great mechanic with passion
Nice Zack sounds like he knows what he is doing. I learned so stuff.
Yes, indeed he does.
Very Professional Zach and 650ib another great one
Makes my K&N stage III jet kit with ignition advance on my old Gixzers‘s seem like child’s play.
So many wires in and around the bike. Im confused just looking lol. That mechanic is awesome
Why not put in a shorai battery or other lightweight battery. That's usually a common upgrade and not that expensive. Big weight saver.
We are replacing the battery next week.
Zack is a guy, every boss is looking for! works realy fast and organized!!
and has to put up with idiots.. im surprised b506 even knows how to put gas in the bike..
Yo ib, well done, I think ur one of the best youtubers PERIOD, keep it going, RESPECT
Damn i love those episodes soooo much... greetings from Greece, keep up the good work!
I love watching your videos brother ive learned alot about the s1000rr i think i annoy my fiance how much i watch.

Welcome Back.

You have lots of liter bike.... did you already try the Rcv213vs
Hi 650ib you should start building a Yamaha r1 for the next bike build series
Hey, the next bike will be my last 2018 S1000RR then we will build a 2018 CBR 1000RR SP and then a R1M.

Hi ib
At 3mins 36 seconds Zach mentions that he covered blocking off the PAIR valve in a previous video with Brock. Can you please add the link for this as it is not covered on the link you have added.
Thanks again and we love your work here in the U.K. :-)
On a serious note does the Auto tune actually Net some Hp gains..?
Yes.
Why not go with the Bazzaz it is one unit that controls upper and lower injectors?
Hi, great video! Thanks! Did you remove stock o2 sensor and put an eliminator?
650 thoughts on the autotune from experience and talking with tuners? Hard to find a reliable review most reviews are sponsored or they have no idea what they are talking about.
Auto tune works great if you need to use the power commander.
What do you do with the oem exhaust sensor and map sensor? An eliminator? Just unplug?
Just curious 650ib, why not an ECU FLASH w/ autotune? or is not able to be done?
He said in an earlier video that an 18’ flash wasn’t available yet.
I love these videos! keep it up man

650ib right on i love honda getting some love i feel like they are not as common.... at least around my area..
What was done with the o2 sensors were they disconnected from the clips on the side and you just left autotune in
Great vid. Question what kinda of/ name brand windscreen and mirror block offs is that on your R1M what did you do with turn signals?
The windscreen is a Yamaha R1 smoked windscreen and the block off plates were purchased from www.motomillion.com discount code 650ib
Are those injectors direct and port?
Eh 650. Did you mix your own intro and beats?
Does Dynojet offer an ethanol sensor as well?
Do you like your Hp4?
I own a 2014 Hp4 in storage with
29 miles on it. I was thinking of selling it and buying the new Ducity
slyr1 Yeah right.

Last but not least...Carbon fiber or atleast Marchesini rims will be cherry on the cake !!! ;D :)
We have a lithium ion battery to install onto the bike next week.

Why you didn’t use RAPIDBIKE EVO FUEL CONTROLLER MODULE from Motomillion instead of the pc5. I thought Rapidbike was better.
We will use Rapid Bike for the next build series.
